The City Of Love

*Kelphy sleeps right past dinner time and all night. She is still sound asleep by lunch time the following day.*

Maid: <Master Harmonia, lunch is almost ready, you should call Ms. Colsun.>

*Edge is in a very dark room with his wrists and anckles tied together and his mouth taped shut. He can't see a thing, and he can't hear anything besides a weird muffled sound that could very well be a large engine working.*

Alto nods and gets up from his terminal. His eyes have bags under them. Its clear he's been deep in program code. He goes to get Kelphy. He knocks. "Kelphy. You awake?"

Edge: <(What the hell is going on?!!)>

*Edge tries to look around, but can't move due to being tied up, and can't seem to see or hear Spider.*

Edge: <(At a time like this, I ACTUALLY wish he was here...)>

*He hears a few knocking sounds and the door opens after a few seconds. Kelphy has apparently dressed in a hurry. Her hair is somewhat unkempt and her cheeks are flushed.*

Kelphy: <I-I'm so sorry!>

*He hears a muffled female voice.*

???: <Please fasten your seatbelts, we will be landing at the Moscow Central Airport shortly.>

Edge: <(WHAAAAT???!!!)>

*Edge starts rolling around, trying to make as much noise as possible. He manages to get the tape off of his mouth.*

Edge: <WHAT THE FUCK, MAN! WHAT. THE. FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!>

"Its fine" Alto scratches his head. "Lunch is ready."

Kelphy: <I just n-need two minutes, please.>

*Soon they're having lunch. Dark can handle the description.*

Kelphy: <D-Did you find anything?>

*He hears a loud sound as a wall of the room seems to slide upward, letting in some light. Outside all he can see is the blue sky and white clouds. Only now that there is light does he realize there is a large landing wheel next to him. It starts sliding out, dragging him along. He also realizes he's only wearing briefs and socks.*

Edge: <WHAT IN HELL IS THIS??!!! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?!!>

*Edge kinda cries a bit like a little bitch.*

Chicken Stir fry for lunch. Sounds good yeah? It does.

Alto is eating his food. "I found research files on a new kind of navi."

Kelphy: <Oh? What Navi?>

[How come I never knew father was involved in Navi research...?]

*He falls off and down 2 feet before hitting marble floor. The large screen showing the sky goes off and the lights go on. He just fell out of a small metal box with an incorporated landing wheel that was probably taken from a real airplane.*

Olympe: <Cut!>

*Looking around, he's in the middle of the Town Hall's lobby with a shitload of staff members around him giggling. Olympe walks up to him and crouches.*

Olympe: <(Next time it'll be for real. Think about my proposition.)>

*She drops his PET on his head and heads off to her office.*

"Something called a Hollow Warden."

*When Edge gets up and picks his PET up, he sees Spider crying. At this point, Edge is basically flushed red as he gets his clothes back on.*

Edge: <What, did they do something to you, too?>

Spider: <Hahaha... oh, no, they didn't do a thing...>

*Edge looks in confusion.*

Edge: <Then what is it? Spit it out already?>

Spider: <YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE! OH MY GOD, THAT WAS HILARIOUS! HAHAHAHA...>

*Spider's laughing his ass off the whole time, Edge ignoring him as he heads for the lady's office.*

Kelphy: <What... What is it for?>

*He arrives to find her sitting on the edge of her desk, seemingly covering a smile with her hand.*

Olympe: <Had fun? Now, about my proposition.>

Edge: <Yeah, yeah, I'll do it. Happy?>

*Annoyance crosses Edge's face.*

Spider: <Damn, you're not so tough anymore, are you?>

"It was a NetNavi structure with virus to create an anti-protection kind of program that is a lot stronger than a regular NetNavi. It was written by someone named "A. Turmill"."

Kelphy: <A. Turmill...? W-Wait, was it that knight Navi that attacked my father's network?>

Olympe: <Perfect! You know what to do. Watch Kelphy, and don't let her try to play detective. And again, keep any individuals that may interfere with said goal away from her. She escaped her house on a limo yesterday. Oh yes, did I tell you you spent the night sleeping in that tiny capsule? Anyway, she is currently...>

*She turns on the plasma TV and a map appears, marking Alto Harmonia's mansion with a blinking red spot.*

Olympe: <...there.>

Edge: <Then if that's all, I'm gone now.>

*Edge makes a leave for the place marked in red.*

"Maybe"

Kelphy: <S-Something very strange is going on...>

Olympe: <Don't forget to not be stupid and to not reveal your plan like someone stupid or a cheesy super villain would.>


*Edge arrives in front of the mansion's gate.*

*Edge knocks on the mansion's gate.*

"The data seems to corrolate with what my mother was working on. There's a connection somewhere, I know it" he finishes eating. "I'll step up the security here in any case. I have a feeling it won't take who ever is behind this long to figure out whats going on. I'm going to work on upgrading Axl with the data I have now. Maybe I can start to decode mom's research now" he stands.

Kelphy: <All right then...>

*A maid walks in.*

Maid: <Master Harmonia, a boy about your age is at the gate.>

*Someone talks out of the speaker next to the gate.*

???: <Good afternoon, what can I do for you?>

"Who is it? How did they find this place!?" Alto rushes to the intercom and shoves one of the maids out of the way.

"Who's there?"

*Edge glares in confusion.*

Edge: <Crap, what do I say?>

*Spider shrugs.*

Spider: <Beats me.>

Edge: <(Crap.)>

*Edge stutters a bit before answering.*

Edge: <Yeah, I'd like to have a little chat with Kelphy.>

*Kelphy follows.*

Kelphy: <Is everything okay?>
