Ingrid lets out a long sigh, "Fuck... we're dead." She said, looking around at her surroundings.

*Hitomi stands up clutching her (most likely destroyed) book to her chest and begins walking nowhere in particular looking for dry land.*

Ingrid follows after Hitomi, figuring it would be best to stick together.

*A bigass monster looking vaguely canine, but with hulking muscles, a long tail, horns, & the ability to stand on 2 feet jumps down in front of them out of nowhere. It then roars in their faces, showering them with saliva.*

*A flying monster swoops over a large machina structure, blasting mouth lasers at it.*

[What is this?]

*Some cannons fire back, wounding it. While Al Bhed soldiers run up to restrain it, it savagely bites one in the neck.*

[Is that...me?]

*After the monster is beaten half to death, the old Al Bhed Senthose approaches it, giving a cease & desist order.*

[No...no, that's wrong. I'm a Guado. A summoner on a pilgrimage to defeat Sin. I was swallowed by Sin after...one of my guardians...I summoned...why can't I remember?!]

*Hitomi casts Protect followed by Shell on herself.*

Ingrid casts Protect on herself, then Reflect. With that out of the way she casts scan on the hulking beast.

*Hitomi casts Osmose on the Behemoth King.*

*It swings around, slapping both their shits with its tail. They fall to the ground with at least 20 broken ribs between them. It roars again.*

The King Behemoth is one of the most violent and dangerous Fiends in existence, but is fortunately quite rare. They have great magic & physical power, attacking with sharp horns, huge muscles, claws, & a prehensile tail. They use their magic with Thundaga, Flare, Mighty Guard, & in death, by countering with Meteor.

Immune to

Silence, Sleep, Darkness, Poison, Petrification, Slow, Zombie, Armor Break, Mental Break, Threaten, Death, Delay, Eject

[Someone...anyone...please help me!]

Ingrid moans in pain, "He uses Thundraga, Flare, Mighty Guard, and as a final send off it uses Meteor in death... and it is immune to... pretty much everything... except for power break, I think that may be useful here..." Ingrid said between breaths. Using her stave Ingrid stood herself back up and used her Overdrive "Phantasm". That should do a hell of a lot of damage, now, here is hoping it doesn't hit me again... because it hits hard...

*Hitomi stands up casting Curaga on herself.*

"I know what it can do."

*Hitomi moves back away from the Behemoth King, casting Osmose.*

That ungrateful... couldn't just say thanks... Ingrid thought, casting Drain on the beast.

*The Behemoth just kind of stands there, growling.*

<Summons accepted.>

*A bunch of Pyreflies form together into a vaguely human form, turning black. A pair of red eyes open in the shadow before the darkness drains & leaves Senthose standing there. He bends over, reaching into the river, & somehow pulls out an unconscious Luna with ripped clothes by the shoulder, whom he throws towards Hitomi.*

<I told you you'd need me to clean up your mess. Here, take care of this.>

*The Behemoth skewers him.*

<Ow. That was rude.>

*Upon seeing Senthose Hitomi's eyes widen then narrow into a glare before she falls in her attempt to catch Luna.*

Ingrid doesn't know what the fuck is going on, "Hey, isn't that the guy from the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth... wait no, that was an illusion... so is this another ill-- HOLY CRAP!" The expletive at the end coming in response to seeing the man impaled.

*Senthose stabs his hand into the Behemoth's back.*

<You might want to stand back.>

*Meteors start falling around them before Senthose takes a flaming rock the size of a small car in the face. One of those pointless DBZ-style obscuring explosions pops up in its wake. Luna opens her eyes.*

"Where am I? ...Who am I? WHAT am I?"

"You're Luna."

Ingrid gets out of the way of the meteors.

"...Oh."

*Senthose walks out of the explosion.*

<Thanks to you morons, Sin very nearly reabsorbed her. It's a wonder I was able to get back in time to rescue her. I don't know if she'll ever regain the memories she's lost.>

"It really wasn't our fault, Sin came after us, or her, I imagine. It was unavoidable." Ingrid said, "How do you know she has lost her memories?"

*At the last part Hitomi's eyes widen in horror.*

[That might not be a bad thing if she's forgetten everything from the Bevelle catacombs, but...]

*Hitomi continues to hold Luna. Unbeknownst to herself her hold is getting tighter almost like she's hugging Luna.*

"Please don't forget everything."

[I feel like my insides are on fire. I know I should let go of her, but I don't want to.]

"At least let me thank you..."

Ingrid let out a sigh, So, she isn't totally cold to people. Ingrid looked at Senthose, "How sure are you that she lost her memory, I'm sure it can't truly be all gone."

"Thank me for what?"

<The reabsorbtion process would have had to first regress her back to her state as a Sinspawn, stripping away her memories as a Guado, & replacing them with the old ones that were removed. Since she still has the form of a Guado, I clearly stopped the process before it could complete, but there's no telling how much she's lost, & I couldn't begin to theorize about how to repair the damage. As of this moment, there are only two Sinspawn-hybrids in the entire world, & they're both in this space.>

"For taking me to the book restorer."

"So then... she won't know what she is fighting for. Sin wins." Ingrid said, a bit shocked.

*Ark is just standing there, looking from Luna to Senthose with his eyes wide open, and wincing in pain every so often.*

Ark: <She forgot ... Luna!

*He runs around Hitomi and crouches in front of them.*

Ark: <Luna, I know you don't like me, but just tell me if you remember the pilgrimage, everything we all went through since you and I left Besaid.>
