*MegaSeadramon causes ice spikes to burst from around him, trying to kill as many of the Digimon as possible.*

*Tsune draws her legs up & puts her arms around them.*

"...He's in trouble. And I can't do anything to help him."

*Seeing the Divermon, Euryale produces a crossbow of her own & fires at one's head. Black Agumon Digivolves to Ultimate, swiping a claw at the other.*

*Allina is staring around like "I wonder what's going on underwater."*

Allina: <Go Betamon!!!>

Tae: <...Okay then.>

*Mermaimon swats any ice spikes coming towards her away with her anchor. The Divermon stop their attack to defend themselves only for an energy blade to zip by them.*

Mermaimon:<Don't stop attack, you mangy dogs!>

*The Divermon immedialty continue their assualt and Mermaimon swims towards MegaSeadramon twirling her anchor so the ring-looking end is pointing forward instead of the spearhead.*

*Divermon shields itself with an arm. Hissing as the bolt sticks into its arm it returns fire. The Divermon is sent back into the sea where it recovers and returns to the surface staying far enough out so the water is to its waist and its movement is unphased like the other two and fires at BlackMetalGreymon. The third Divermon fires at Allina.*

[Those things... No! Euryale said that wasn't her and I know she doesn't turn into Digimon.]

*She turns to BlackGabumon pointing her Digivice at him.*

"BlackGabumon Digivolve to two-legged Wolfy!"

*BlackGabumon smiles despite being called Wolfy and Digivolves then Warp Digivolves to Ultimate. ShadowWereGarurumon charges towards the Divermon that shot at Allina and punches it in the face.*

*Hitomi sits in the awkward silence. The only sound being the ones from the ocean.*

[Did I say something wrong?]

*Black Metal Greymon blocks, then opens its missile ports. Euryale rolls, firing another bolt.*

E"Why don't you get closer & fight like you aren't a bunch of cowards?!"

[That's it...come closer....]

*MegaSeadramon swings its tail to attack Mermaimon's back. When she's in the process of countering that, he opens his jaws wide & attempts to bite off her upper body.*

*Allina ducks with a shriek.*

Allina: <Bastards! ...Thanks, Gabu!>

*Tae yawns and turns his head to look at a Hitomi, smiling broadly.*

*Mermaimon swings her anchor batting MegaSeadramon's tail away while in her other hand a replica of her anchor appears which she wedges in MegaSeadramon's mouth spearhead pointed down.*

Mermaimon:<Prepare to be boarded!>

*Mermaimon swims up and hooks the ring end of her anchor around MegaSeadramon's horn and mounts him to best her body will let her. The two Divermon stop firing at MegaSeadramon.*

Mermaimon:<Take to the shores you two, bilge rats!>

Divermon1&2:<Aye aye!>

*The two Divermon swim up to the surface firing harpoons a long the way.*

*The harpoon barrage continues as Taiyo ducks behind one of the two trees the island has for cover while AeroVeedramon & MagnaAngemon get peppered with harpoons. Meanwhile, Tsune's Digivice vibrates.*

"We're in troubel!"

*Divermon hits the ground with a thud as it ducks and begins to work on getting up. The Divermon engaging BlackMetalGreymon begins to move to the left and continues to fire aiming for the feshy parts of BlackMetalGreymon's body. Divermon hisses and turns to fire at ShadowWereGarurumon who kicks it in the face with a turning kick. Once his leg returns to the ground, his back is to the Divermon and he spins again hitting it with a hook kick. Once he's facing forward again he knocks the Divermon down with another punch to the face.*

*Hitomi smiles back. It's slightly wider than her usual half-smile. She's either getting used to the whole smiling deal or she's forcing herself.*

[Do I say something? If I do, what? Should I ask him about his family? Hobbies?]

*She bites her lip.*

*MagnaAngemon and AeroVeedramon groan, the former falling on his knees. He staggers to his feet and raises his sword. Purple strings of energy run up to the tip and shoot upwards, landing on him and AeroVeedramon and healing their wounds. He then flies over to BlackMetalGreymon and ShadowWereGarurumon and does the same. AeroVeedramon envelops one of the Divermon in a whirlwind of wind blades.*

Tae: <Do you think we will ever have to leave our partners? I've thought about this before...>

*He keeps smiling, though not only slightly.*

[What the?]

*He wriggles around, trying to get Mermaimon with Icy Coils.*

*Tsune looks at her Digivice. Black Metal Greymon fires his missiles at the Divermon.*

*Mermaimon thrashes around and appears to be enjoying the ride. Hearing the explosion from above she yanks on the anchor directing his head up where a Divermon is sinking down towards them.*

Mermaimon:<It would appear I underestimated your allies, laddy.>

*The screen is flickering red. Divermon stands and fires a harpoon at Euryale. ShadowWereGarurumon jumps on the downed Divermon and begins hammering it with his fist with spiked knuckles on it. Due to the shockwave from the Giga Destroyers explosion, the two Divermon surface further away from the island.*

"That's something I don't like to think about."

*The hear an explosion from the direction of the starting island.*

T"What does this mean? What am I supposed to do with it? Why is this thing so goddamn useless?!"

*Euryale dodges the harpoon bolt, shooting one of her own.*

[Her personality is a complete ripoff of Lady Devimon's.]

*He uses icy coils.*

*Tae gets up and looks at Hitomi, startled.*

Aquilamon: <Tae, the others are in trouble!>

*MagnaAngemon showers the enemies with razor feathers.*

*Mermaimon creates a replica of her anchor and hooks it to the one hanging on MegaSeadramon's horn so as to avoid his attack without relinquishing a great deal of her limited control over his head.*

Mermaimon:<Direct your aim towards MegaSeadramon and fire on my command!>

Divermon Army:<Aye aye!>

*Mermaimon swims back down and grabs hold of her anchor while unhooking the replica which she stabs into MegaSeadramon. Removing the anchor from his horn she begins to swim away.*

*The harpoons being fired from the ocean cease leaving only the four Divermon. The two that had recently surfaced begin to swim towards the beach eventually rising to their feet once in the shallows one firing at Euryale the other at ShadowWereGarurumon the latter somehow manages to avoid it, but yelps when the Divermon it had pinned fired one of its own. The Divermon Euryale fired at adds the bolt to the forming collection its got going on its arm and fires back the harpoon going off course as its unable to keeps its aim steady.*

*Salamon stands up and stretches.*

Salamon:<I guess we should go support or rescuse them.>

*Black Metal Greymon fires more missiles at the Divermon while Euryale just gives up & takes cover behind him.*

[I'll kill you...I'll kill you...I'll kill you...I'll kill you...I'll kill you...I'll kill you....]

*MegaSeadramon stretches his head as far towards Mermaimon as he can, charging a Lightning Javelin.*

*AeroVeedramon and MagnaAngemon charge them with claws and sword.*

*Aquilamon picks them up and flies to the first island.*

*With a kiss, she swings her anchor sending an energy blade at MegaSeadramon.*

Mermaimon:<Fire!>

*The Divermon open fire on MegaSeadramon while a Divermon with two bolts in its arm sinks.*

*The two Divermon fire at the airborne Digimon while the third stands up.*

=====================================================

*They hear another explosion and see BlackMetalGreymon on the island. From the ocean at the rear of the island harpoons fire up at them.*

*MegaSeadramon fires the biggest LightningJavelin he can manage at Mermaimon.*

*AeroVeedramon and MagnaAngemon raise protective shields and counterattack with wind blades and razor feathers.*

*Aquilamon dives down over the incoming harpoons and shoots a stream of laser rings at the water.*

*Mermaimon dives and keeps going till' she's out of sight while the Divermon's harpoons pelt MegaSeadramon.*

Mermaimon:<Tata for now.>

*ShadowWereGarurumon kicks the Divermon down and backs off up the beach to re-join the others.*

ShadowWereGarurumon:<We should leave.>

*In the water they can see the outlines of a large amount of Divermon plus other Digimon. The Divermon adjust their aim and resume firing.*

*MegaSeadramon swims towards the Divermon, instead.*

E"We need to find some way to lure MetalSeadramon up here. Even if he can fly, we can't fight underwater, so he has the advantage down below."

Tae: <Dammit. Aquilamon, dodge and head for the island!>

*Aquilamon retracts her wings and dives almost to sea level before flying back up towards the island the others are on.*

*Being vastly outnumbered it's not long before he's made into a pincushion. The harpoons fall out when he reverts back to Betamon and floats back up to the surface and washes up on the shore. At the moment Betamon's battered and bruised body touches the shore Tsune's Digivice returns to normal. Taiyo peeks out from behind the tree, harpoons sticking out through most of the trunk except for the nicks where harpoons had fallen off.*

"Froggy?"

*Once Aquilamon touches down on the beach the attack stops now that everyone's aware the island is either completely surrounded or partially surrounded. Depending on how close he is to the shore BlackMetalGreymon might be able to see a large sum of Divermon swimming up to the surface. The three that had surfaced all retreated back into the water to either flee or re-group with the rest.*

*Tae gets off, puts Salamon down, and helps Hitomi off as well.*

Tae: <What happened here?>

Allina: <MONSTERS.>

Tae: <Yeah, I got that. Did you see MetalSeadramon?>

AeroVeedramon: <No.>

MagnaAngemon: <We were just discussing that.>

*Tsune runs over to Betamon & collapses down beside him.*

T"Why did you have to try to be the hero?"

B<Because it was cool. But...I guess it didn't work out quite like I planned, huh?>

T"...Please don't leave me. I need you."

*Euryale walks up behind her, frowning. BlackMetalGreymon takes to the air & begins showering the Divermon with missiles.*

*By some miracle he gets off the ground with his decayed wings. As multiple harpoons come shooting out of the sea at him.*

Salamon:<How are we supposed to help? Our options are pretty limited. More so because no one will take them into consideration.>

Aquilamon: <What if Betamon and Salamon tried luring MetalSeadramon out?>

MagnaAngemon: <But first we'd need to know where to find it.>

Aquilamon: <Yeah, I know, but it could work.>

Tae: <It sounds kind of dangerous for them...>

*Tae looks at Salamon, frowning.*
