A Tale of Two Cities

*The Megadeus bursts out of the ground near the damn, holding its arm out towards him. Rockets activate on the deflected hooks, tying around Prolix Armina, & the fish Megadeus leans back, attempting to drop both of them in the waters of the dam.*

*The branch is loosened enough that Lilith can pry it off. It then sets to work eating the armor plating her Megadeus's chest. As Basilisk continues drilling into the root system, some small branches start to poke out around the midsection of the tree.*

*He climbs on to its arm and boards the Megadeus. Gelu Chalybs raises its assualt rifle and fires at the fishy Megadeus.*

[He's safe... Well, seems as good a time as ever to join the fight.]

*The Adramelech runs in, the numerous machineguns along its wings showering the fish Megadeus with bullets*

Prolix Arma held onto the dam by digging three tentacles into it and used a forth to try and cut the things rapping around it off.

*The fish Megadeus unlatches under the gunfire & falls into the water. Once there, it dives & starts pounding on the dam wall below the surface of the water.*

Prolix Arma tries to fuck the hell off of the dam before the fish can break it.

*Gelu Chalybs approaches the water, its mouth opening and firing an explosive needle into the water.*

[Good chance that'll have some nasty side effects, but at least I'm not like that fool who was spraying munitions around all willy nilly.]

*The Adramelech goes to help keep the dam in place.*

Barbatos{One of you needs to go in after it.}

*Gelu Chalybs steps back from the water.*

"Yeah, I'm going to leave it to the one who got us into this mess. They look better equipped for an aquatic skirmish."

"I might try this..." Luna frowned before shrugging and having Prolix Arma dive head first into the water.

Once in, Prolix Arma's tentacles span in a curved-fan-like motion like the thing on the back of a little boat. It left two tentacles free as it flew down at the fishy robot.

*The fish Megadeus turns & opens its mouth, firing a damn laser through the water across one of the tentacles.*

*Sirens start going off & the street opens up. Out of it rises a slender, smooth steel red Megadeus. Its proportions are normal, save for its clawed hands, which have fingers three times as long as usual. It also has raptor-like claws on its feet & (though it's not a weapon) an elaborate crest on the back of its head, like a cross in the sun. The head appears like a knight's mask, with red eyes glowing behind vertical slits, & no mouth or nose.*

Barbatos{Rozenkreuz, showtime!}

*Gelu Chalybs stands by with its weapon ready.*

[How did I even get into this mess? I need to go and find Roger...]

*She keeps trying to hold the dam.*

I don't know which tentacle you mean... So I'll choose one.

One of the non-spinning tentacles was hit and went limp, but now Prolix Arma had reached it's target and used all tentacles to reach out and grab onto the fishy robot.
Once on, it tried to sink the blades on it's tentacles into the side and fired the metal-injecting harpoon into it.

*The fish Megadeus screeches & tries to electrocute her.*

Barbatos{So useless, I'll do it myself!}

*Rosenkreuz santers over to the dam, firing a laser that goes through a tentacle & into the fish Megadeus. It somehow acts like a retractable hook, as Rosenkreuz pulls them both out & tosses them onto the ground, where it stomps on the fish Megadeus's head.*

*Gelu Chalybs lowers its weapon and stands by.*

[I suppose that's one way to solve this dilemma.]

Luna is presumably half electrocuted and very angry that two tentacles had been shot with lasers.
"What ARSEHOLE did that to my Megadeus?!" She barked and looked out of the cockpit at Barbatos.

*When the fish Megadeus tries to get up again, Rozenkreuz kicks it in the head, crushing it. The body falls apart afterwards.*

Barbatos{That was just dreadful. I suppose, being generous, you can be credited with holding it down for me to destroy it. That will be all, for today.}

{Where do we return these?}

*Topaz is already running off to her house, while calling Roger and looking at her watch to monitor the Megadeus.*

Barbatos{What kind of moron are you? Where did you bring them FROM?}

*She opens the door and walks in.*

"Hey, man" Luna radio'd Barbatos, "I don't even know what all this is about, or why I have this freaking robot. Care to enlighten me?"
