A Tale of Two Cities

Zell let out a huff, "Alright then, I'll start working on it now." She said, rolling up her sleeves, putting on a smock, and preparing her work space. "You're welcome to stay and watch, but I doubt highly watching me paint will entertain you."

T"I should probably stop Lilith from menacing the autistic kid anyway."

L"I can pilot it. You're not special."

"You're nothing more than a machine. A tool made of synthetic skin and metal."

Zell sighed, "If you must..."

*Lilith picks Hitomi up by the throat & lifts her above her head.*

L"If I so much as flick my wrist, your head will leave your body. So imagine how easy it would be for a Megadeus to break you. Then, when you're alone, why don't you repeat to it what you just said to me?"

*She drops Hitomi.*

L"...You seem to have a bad cough. Would you like me to get you something?"

T"I'll be back in a minute or 2."

*She leaves the room.*

Zell waves her hand without turning, falling into an artistic ether as she contemplates her newest painting.

*Hitomi stands up rubbing her throat.*

"The Megadues doesn't try to pose as a human."

Zell is painting, though she can't shake the feeling that there are more reasons to dislike Hitomi than she realizes.

L"The Megadeus is so far beyond that. Do you know what 'Megadeus' means, human?"

*Zell blinks &, for a second, she thinks she sees the ruins of the mansion on fire.*

"Fucking Hitomi burned down a mansion...?" Zell said out loud, "No, that can't be right..."

"...No. I do know the technology was used for... Inferior machines."

Luna falls into her cell and immediately breaks her own neck slams her head against a wall, knocking herself out cold and spilling blood everywhere.

*Thiera walks up, glaring at Hitomi.*

T"I think you should get off of my property now."

*Luna wakes up in the cell, with her head bandaged, and strapped down to the bed.*

"I want my Megadeus."

Zell continues to paint. Her agitated mood helping her get into the correct frame of mind to paint something violent.

*Oddly enough, the next flash of insight she has is of Hitomi's Megadeus shooting up the mansion, catching it on fire. This one is accompanied by a bad headache.*

T"Get out of here before I tell Lilith to REMOVE you!"

Zell grips her head, breaking her paintbrush in the process. "Son of a bitch!" She screamed out, "What is it with..." She looks out the window and sees Hitomi. "Thats it." Zell leaves her room, and walks over to Hitomi. "Hey," She said, jabbing her with a finger, "What the hell are you doing to me? Why are you even here?"

*Confused, Hitomi stares at Zell.*

"I have no reason to be speaking with you."

L"She's here to be an android-hater, apparently."

T"Did you inform her that you could take off her head with a flick of the wrist?"

L"Yes, but it seems she's incredibly stupid."

"The hell you don't." Zell said, "Since you've been here the only thing I can see in my head is you messing everything up, so just leave, no one wants you here." She said, rubbing her head to calm the headache.

"Your declining mental stability is none of my concern."

Zell blushes, "That isn't what I meant!"

T"I've had enough of this. Get rid of her."

L"With pleasure."

*Lilith reaches out for Hitomi's shoulder.*

*Hitomi steps back, swatting at Lilith's hands.*

Zell continues to rub her head, trying to push away images of Hitomi destroying things.
