A Tale of Two Cities

*Kanrei Tsuki drops the rifle and draws its knives. Knives in hand it begins to hack and slash the monster.*

*While she's waiting, a laser blasts out of the water & slices through one of the tentacles. Rozenkreuz rises out of the water where the laser came from a moment later.*

*The Megadeus's arms just end up further tangled up in foul-smelling garbage slime monster. It will be fitting end for Hitomi, to be sure.*

*Kanrei Tsuki tries to step back, firing its machine guns once more.*

The part with the laser is pretty stupid. and a lot of dirt and debris flew around after the laser went through the ground just to hit a tentacle.

"Oh god. What are you doing?" Luna stepped back from the Megadeus, her eyes wide, "I don't want trouble with YOU."

Barbatos{Idiot. Of course I'm going to destroy the Megadeus that blew up the dam. But I'll let you in on a little secret before you die in battle & I'm hailed as a hero: Beck's recent kidnappings were done on MY behalf! Now, Rozenkreuz, it's showtime!}

*She points both wrists at her & fires the laser-cross-blade-things.*

*The monster just moves with her, continuing to swallow her up.*

Luna leapt to one side, trying to take cover behind a bunch of crates, barrels and things. If that didn't work, she just dies.

*Kanrei Tsuki stops moving as Hitomi lifts a glass panel covering a large white button.*

*By this point, the monster has almost completely devoured her.*

*Rozenkreuz dashes around the obstacle, holding its fingers together like blades. It begins stabbing rapidly at Luna's Megadeus.*

Luna's Megadeus is actually still not in the wharf, so no, Rozenkreuz doesn't.

While Rozenkreuz is being retarded, Luna grabs her Megadeus remote and gets it to get the fuck over to her.

*Hitomi tightens the straps to the seats harness and slams her hand down on the button. The hatch in the Megadeus back opens up and the capsule containing the cockpit is shot out.*

*Because this whole under ground secret bunker shit makes no sense in the first place, Luna gets another tentacle thoroughly sliced apart.*

*The monster spits out the Megadeus, armor partially digested, & starts slithering after Hitomi.*

Prolix Arma desperately thrashes back with all of it's might while firing 50. cal bullets and the metal injecting rod point blank.

*Hitomi exits the ejected cockpit and takes off running away from the monster.*

*Barbatos deflects most of the tentacles, but there isn't much she can do about the bullets or the rod. She then kicks into Prolix Arma's side with her freaking raptor heel.*

*As she gets close to the subway exit, it turns away.*

Prolix Arma, being pretty light weight for a Megadeus, is hurled backwards and plows through some wharf stuff, and once landed, launches a dozen seeker missiles at Barbatos.

*Barbatos whips out the laser crosses & uses them to slice through most of the missiles. The ones that do hit damage her Megadeus's left shoulder joint.*

"Come on... just die already!" Luna yelled and fired some more bullets before running out of ammunition for her 50. cal that she had been abusing... "Oh. Oh. OH. OH SHIT."
She tried to get Prolix Arma up and run the hell away.

*She fires another laser hook through the Megadeus's midsection, dragging it back. She grabs it by the head & slams it to the ground, charging the second one. Before she can get off the final blow, however, she's forced to jump back as a bomb lands nearby. A red Megadeus descends from the sky, landing with the aid of what looks like rockets on the elbows & propellers for hands.*

Schwarzwald{Look at those pathetic, outdated models. Is that REALLY the best you can do...Paradigm Lapdogs?!}

Prolix Arma, being extremely wrecked, just lays there. Luna stumbles away from the wreckage, clutching a pistol.

Having no useful insight, Zell simply stays quiet.

OOC: Then just look up Big Duo.

*Later, Hitomi's phone begins to ring.*

*Rozenkreuz fires one of its lasers at Schwarzwald's Megadeus, but it bats it away with one arm & charges over to her, activating its propeller hands & tearing chunks off of Rozenkreuz's face. It forms a blade on its right hand, attempting to stab it, but several machinegun ports open up on its stomach, blowing it back. The new Megadeus begins stomping on it, breaking off the damaged arm, destroying the head, & then cracking into the torso of the robot.*

Barbatos{Damn it...I will not be killed by some reject from Hell!}

L"There's a Megadeus coming. It's bigger and more powerful than any we've seen yet."

"That isn't good at all." Zell said, "I assume the military police will do something about it." With that, Zell stood up and said, "If you'll excuse me, I'll be in my room." Zell then turned, and made her way back to her room.

*Hitomi answers.*

Vera<We have retrieved ze Megadeus and it is undergoing repairz. We expect it may zee combat again zoon, zo you should be prepared for ze worst.>

*Big Duo leaves Rozenkreuz broken & on fire, then flies off into the sky, its pilot laughing maniacally.*
