A Tale of Two Cities

{Whoops, wrong frequency.}

*Gelu Chalybs (you say the whole thing) raises its arms to shield its chest. After switching to the proper frequency, the cannon lowers and begins working on targetting Gevurah's Megadeus.*

Zell, being the delicate little flower she was, stayed put and waited for Lilith to signal that everything was okay.

*Realizing Lilith is an android, the other guard aims for her head. She drops down just in time, a bullet hole going into the wall behind her. In a single bound, she leaps up & headbuts him in the stomach, then smashes the back of his head into the wall. Then she flashes Zell the thumbs up.*

*The Megadeus climbs on top of him like a slug. A really heavy slug that presses him into the ground & starts firing machineguns into him.*

Zell walks over towards Lilith. "Should we take their walkie talkies too?"

{Kill the traitor she says like it's some kind of simple task.}

*Gelu Chalybs open and closes its mouth, biting the Megadeus.*

*She stomps on them, then punches in the code for the door.*

L"After you."

*It blows fire in his face. Barbatos punches it in the eye, shattering it. It then roars, the weapons ceasing to fire.*

Zell walks through the doorway. "Why thank you Lilith."

*Gelu Chalybs begins to right itself while the cannon goes back to targetting the Megadeus.*

*She retaches her arm, which hangs limply at her side. Once inside, she closes the door, walks up to the terminal, & begins working on the password.*

"...27 characters. That will take nearly a quarter of an hour. Except that's my speed with both arms. With only one, it will take me twice as long. Half an hour to crack the code."

*The Megadeus suddenly & rapidly slithers towards the ocean.*

*Gelu Chalybs fires its cannon at the Megadeus.*

"I don't like seeing you constantly wounded like this." Zell said, "I feel that everytime I look away for a second you're sporting some wound."

L"I...I apologize. But this will take too long. Unless...."

*She opens the disc drive, & another disc drive pops out of her head.*

L"I cannot move when my memory circuits are removed. I need you to place it into the computer."

{RAAAAAAH!}

*She kicks the Adramelech in frustration, knocking it into the ocean as well.*

{GOD DAMN IT, NOW THEY'VE BOTH ESCAPED!}

*After that, she breaks out into a coughing fit & the Megadeus falls to its hands & knees.*

"Uh... okay." Zell said, cautiously following Lilith's instructions.

*Hitomi's actually walking down a tunnel apparently.*

*I assume the Adramelech's just sinking into the ocean at this point.*

*Tipheret rolls the car window down.*

*Several minutes of awkward silence past, then someone starts banging on the door. A second later, something starts downloading to the CD drive. The estimated time is 8 minutes.*

"Wandering the unfamiliar halls of the facility until Vera instructed me to let security deal with them."

*Vega sits back in his seat, whistling a jaunty tune.*

[That is one long coughing fit.]

[Dammit, why me. I should get out of here, but leaving the Adramelech behind...]

"Who is it?" Zell asked, looking for something to barricade the door with.

Tipheret<Ah, that explains a lot. But stay here. Schwarzwald was seen going into the desert not too long ago.>

*Instead of answering, they start pushing buttons. The only object in the room is Lilith's body. Also, the doors opened by way of sliding.*

"Okay."

*She just continues standing in that spot.*

*She opens the cockpit and swims out of the Megadeus with her brother towards the surface.*

Zell looks for something to lock the door with, maybe a door control to smash, anything to keep whoever was on the other side out.

*Too late, the door slides open. There are 4 guards, 1 of which is holding Thiera by her underarms. The rest point pepper spray at Zell. A blond woman with curled hair & a suit walks past, sneering. Thiera glares at her.*

Vera<Zat is quite enough, don't you zink zo, Zell?>
