*Before she knows what the Hell just happened, the older man was in between them; he had grabbed Mortal's punch before it hit Zalera's face.*

Man<No.>

*Mortal's fist then explodes in a flame that washes over the rest of her body, scorching her face & chest.*

*She grabs the bathing suit & squeezes the middle with her fist, the sand on it forming into a green gem. Then she hands it to Taiyo & heads into the Senkaimon.*

*Senthose lands in the middle of everything.*

S"Hello there, boys & girls! Hope you didn't miss me TOO much!"

"Thank you."

*After putting her top back on she follows into the Senkaimon.*

"Didn't miss you at all" Kira sighed.
This can't end well.

*They enter into the deserted entrance square of the Soul Society, which has now been altered so that most of the buildings are partially or reconstructed from white rock, & there are tall trees like the ones in Hueco Mundo all over the place. Sokyoku Hill & the Repentance Cell are still standing, but the Sokyoku itself has been removed.*

L"Someone's been busy."

E"Our side or theirs?"

L"Yes. I can feel several distant battles going on, too. I can't tell who's involved, so I guess things must not be particularly serious yet."

Salar<You as well. Stand down, or I'll shoot.>

S"Thing is, you're not the only one who can attack at long range."

*He fires a Cero Oscuras at Subhan, who leaps out of the way. Salar fires at him, but Nel appears in front of him, opening her mouth. She swallows the arrow, gagging somewhat, & then fires out a larger violet Cero than before, with some white mixed in. Salar is forced to jump too, but afterwards, Nel starts coughing up blood.*

S"You'd better go into your Resurrecion soon. They're about to counterattack."

Kira looked at Kite and shrugged, "Should we help the Quincies or go do what the cat wanted us to do?"

*Feeling down and out, Taiyo just stands by silently staring at her sparkly knew gem stone that despite being shiny and pretty isn't making her feel better.*

L"...Why weren't there any traps in the Dangai?"

E"What?"

L"Every other time, Aamon put several booby traps in the Precipice World, making it much harder to travel to & from the Soul Society. And they usually regenerated, so even if someone went through it recently, we should still have been attacked. If he's really afraid of an invasion, why didn't we encounter that?"

E"Do you think it's a trap?"

L"Why bother not setting up traps at the door just to hit us with a trap when we're on the landing? But I am suspicious that this is all part of some big plan."

S"...Are you guys trying to distract me by being incredibly stupid, or are you really making strategic decisions based on the suggestions of a cat?"

*As Salar fired a ton of arrows & Subhan fired 3 discs, Senthose grabbed Nel & took to the air. The discs curved to follow him & Rabbani swung the whip-sword at him. He held out a hand cloaked in electricity & the sword just stopped as he slashed away the discs. Once Nel was dropped, she stood in midair & held her sword out with the blade perpendicular to her body.*

Mortal grinds her teeth in pain, "What the fuck was that?!"

"Your hand exploded."

"I got that far, I want to know how."

"Why? Just don't let him touch you, or get near you."

With a shrug Mortal starts launching Dragon punches at the kid while putting up a defensive sphere of scales.

"So, this is the Soul Society... not what I imagined it to be." She said, looking around.

L"It's not. Aamon's been doing some redecorating. It's normally much nicer...well, in the Seireitei, anyway. I don't know what he did regarding everyone who lives outside. And that's probably for the best."

E"So, what do we do now that we're here?"

L"Join a fight, I guess. Can you recognize anyone yet?"

E"...Yeah. Gevurah's been activating his FullBring. Though, that's not unusual, I hear he uses it for everything from heating his coffee to mowing his lawn."

*John steps through the Senkaimon a second later.*

John<And I bet no one even noticed I was gone.>

Man<I'd thought as much. Since your attacks form out of nowhere, they capture a fair amount of air when they do. And it seems your limbs regenerate...but those scars suggest that the rest of your body doesn't necessarily work that way. Now, then....>

*He holds one han out towards Sab & holds the other above her shoulder.*

Man<Which shall it be?>

OOC: You permanently scarred my character?!

Sab teleported to Mortal's side, then teleported them both out of harm's way. "Who is that guy?"

"Don't know? Kind of a dick though." Mortal said. "Aliento de fuego." With that, the boy was attacked with a swath of dragon's flame.

"I noticed, but I just figured you were doing something important, was I wrong?" Noctis said, looking over at him.

*Not noticing John, Taiyo looks around.*

[I want my home back.]

*A wall of flames blocks her attack.*

Zalera<Ha! What a moron! I can see why she likes that pile of crap.>

*He points at Sab.*

Man<You're wasting time here. Go, take what is rightfully yours. And then take Aamon's life!>

Zalera<Yeah, yeah, don't have a heart murmur over it.>

*The boy disappears into a black portal of space, which then closes.*

Gevurah<Now, I believe that introductions are in order.>

*He points to a column of flames.*

Annoyed, Mortal said, "Fuck introductions, in about 15 minutes one of us will be dead, so it matters little." With that she shot a cero at him. Then got teleported a few meters behind him and shot another, then got teleported a safe distance away.

Kira fired the weak kido at Nel, trying to distract her so that some one could hit her before she resurrected.

Kyoujin was walking along the roof of a little building and whistling to herself, looking at the Repentance Cell and wondering what it could be there for.

*Nel shited her sword to deflect the Byakurai. Taking the cue, Salar quickly turns to fire an arrow at Nel, which captures her sword & sails off into the distance. Nel Sonidos after it. Meanwhile, the whip curls around Senthose's back, but he disappears into a Garganta, reappearing behind Subhan & slashing down his back with Irukandji. Unpurturbed, Subhan starts gathering strings of spirit energy, binding them to his limbs while the whip culrs around him, forcing Senthose to dash back.*

S"You're wasting your time. I know all about how Quincy fight because of Aamon."

Rabbani<Have you ever fought a TEAM of Quincies before? Then you've never seen the TRUE Quincy craft.>

Kite: <They clearly don't want our help, so I say we do what the cat said.>

"As Noah reminded me, we Are doing what the cat said by staying here" Kira said distractedly, at the same time thinking how he could kill Senthose, "So we may as well help wherever possible."

*The speech is coming from this mother fucker+ who's standing behind them, hands in his pockets. Meanwhile, Rabbani fires a series of discs all around Senthose, which become a prison cage of Reitsu. Once this happens, Subhan stabs the whip in 5 points around the cage. Salar raises his bow, but before he can do anything, Nel returns with her sword & kicks him in the chest, sending him flying through a nearby building.*

"Transdifferentiate--"

<Spregner.>

*The area around the cage, approximately 20 feet in diameter, explodes into an enormous column of white & purple energy, the shockwave knocking the unwary off of their feet. A wisp of mixed Reitsu slashes across the new Arrancar's cheek, the wound closing up almost immediately.*

Kira spun around and glared at Ulquiorra, "Another Arrancar, huh? Seeing as you're not in the fight right now, I'm gonna guess you're either a lot stronger than those two or a lot weaker."

Mortal smiles, "Nope, it was just a distrac--" Mortal was cut off by a dragon head appearing out of the smoke and launching a Gran Lagarto Cero at the man from underneath, "tion."

*They see the sky being scorched by a bigass tornado of fire where the pillar was, only it's several times larger, the sheer vaccum from the expanding heat pulling nearby roof tiles off, up into the inferno.*

L"Okay. I vote we stay the Hell away from this leader of yours."

*Then he spreads his arms, igniting the air around him. The building catches fire all along its length & the flames surrounding him expand, until all Mortal can see in any direction is a swirling wall of fire.*

Ulquiorra<...My regeneration & swordsmanship is second to Senthose's. My Hierro & signature attack is second to Mortal's. My Reitsu is slightly lower than both of them.>

Nel<Declare, Gamuza!>

*Violet energy wraps around Nel. When it clears, her wounds are healed, she has armor on her upper body & a dual-sided jousting lance, & she's a centaur. The horns on her Mask have also become longer. She hurls the spear at Rabbani. Subhan tries to catch it with the whip, but it rotates, giving off violet energy that pushes it away. Rabbani tries to dodge, but a tentacle darts out of the smoke & catches his foot. As a result, it plows through his bow & rips apart his arm.*

Sab gets both of them the fuck out of harm's way. "What happened to you saying Captain class people weren't that intimidating?" Sab asked.

"You be quiet, this is the first one who could light the fucking air on fire." Mortal said.

"Segundo Etepa?"

"Segundo Etepa." Mortal lets out a sigh, "Armor of the Great Lizard."

"Too tired to say it in Spanish?"

"Pretty much." Mortal replied, in her Segundo Etepa. "Now, how the fuck do I attack someone who is lighting everything on fire?"

"...You know, wool is highly flame retardant."

"The dragon lady was kind of a bruiser, but even still, that looks pretty excessive." Noctis said.

*Mortal & Sab hear the clashing of swords nearby. When they look over, Soi Fon appears behind the boy from before, putting her blade to his throat. He only escapes to the top of a nearby building by quickly entering a Garganta.*

<This is ridiculous. Just hold still so I can kill you.>

*He then glances at Mortal & Sab.*

*The tornado disperses throughout the sky until there's nothing left, not even wisps of smoke.*

E"So that's Gevurah's power. I've never really seen it myself. I don't even know what it is for sure. Just that it involves fire."

"Something about hydrogen. I heard it in passing a while ago." Noctis chimed.

Mortal looks at Soi Fon, then away quickly.

"You know her?"

"Not really."

"What do you mean, 'Not really'?"

"I was... just wondering what two of our enemies are doing fighting eachother..."

"If you say so." Sab said, "Are we going to pick sides?"

"I think it may be best to let them fight it out on their own, I hate that kid, but the woman is the kind of person to stab you in the back as soon as she gets the chance."
