<Quite.>

"Thanks for sharing that."

"Good... te-thankyou." Luna half smiled and walked out of the station, breathing a deep sigh of relief.

*The creature floats towards the palace. Once inside, everyone finds themselves in a large chamber, empty but for a sleeping serpent, which appears to be made of the heads of many dragons. The Djinn screeches, vanishing, & all of the dragon's eyes snap open, each one turning to stare at the group.*

*Mimiru takes a step back with a look on her face like "yeesh," while Taiyo stands behind her.*

"The hell is that thing?"

Allina:<Okay: ew! What's that?>

Luna got in her car and began to drive home. It felt weird to be back in the city... nothing unnatural was happening. It was calm and pleasant, compared with what she had seen.

"Instead of just sitting there" Kyoujin popped her head up out of the water and spoke to her nameless friend, "Can you please call the police? See if there's any more info on Luna since I called them last week."

{In your language, I am called "Ladon." And I know why you're here.}

*The dragon stands up, walking towards them.*

{After the fall of Emperor Lucius, I slaughtered the soldiers who saught to contain me, and then I made my way to this city. I knew it would not be safe forever. I'm older than your entire species, & one thing I've learned is that you have a boundless capacity for greed.}

<Okay.>

*She heads for a phone & comes running back in a few minutes later.*

<They found her!>

Kyoujin was out of the pool again and was mid way through changing clothes behind a small divider, she almost dived out before realizing she wasn't actually wearing any thing over her chest.
"Dead or alive?" She called out.

"Don't pool us all in with the likes of her."

*She points at Thiera when saying "her".*

Allina: <See, Mr.Creepy Dragon, I'm with Taiyo and Mimiru on this one. She's the greedy rich lady. We're just innocent girls she dragged here after stealing Taiyo's lance.>

{Silence. I care not for your petty personality conflicts. I am older than beings you know as "gods," and more powerful than most of them. You cower before the Djinn, but all their efforts combined could scarecely wound me.}

*He rears up, towering about a dozen stories above them.*

{What in this vast, mystical universe, ever possessed you to believe I want to hear about your grievances against this human female with a fine taste in hair care products?}

T"Oh, you like my shampoo? It's just lavendar scented.}

*Ladon roars from all of his heads, a crescendo of sound both terrifying & musical.*

{I love lavendar!}

T"So...is there a point to all of this?"

{The point is, I will prevent the Djinn from seeking alliances with the Da'at, only insofar as you forfeit the Lance of Longinus back to its new owner--}

*He swings his tail around, which stops uncomfortably close to decapitating Taiyo, stopping to tap her on the head.*

{--And none of you ever return here without summons again.}

<Alive. But they won't tell me anything else.>

Allina: <Sounds like a perfectly good deal. Can we leave now? I'm kinda scared.>

*Taiyo shrinks back away from Ladon's tail.*

"You can count on that."

"They probably don't know a whole lot else" Kyoujin thought aloud, coming out from behind the divider wearing a t-shirt and shorts, "I might try and call her home phone number again... but somehow I doubt she'll want to meet anyone mysterious again just yet."
She picked up her mobile phone and began dialing the number, 4973 33 74.

She was in her home now, and she saw that everything was about the same as it was before she left.
She put her handbag (which now had little more than some cracked sunglasses, a mini torch that had run out of batteries and a tacky wallet left in it) down on the bench-top before heading over to the lounge and lying down on the big orange couch.
"I've missed this..." She muttered to herself, "But I need a shower."
She stood up and went off to the bathroom, stripping off and looking at herself in the mirror. She was a lot prettier before she left for the funeral.
It would be just then that the phone rang.
She curses and hurried out of the bathroom and across the loungeroom to the phone, picking it up and blurting out "Yeah?!"
I've completely lost my phone manners.
"Hello, Luna Seppun?" A strangers voice came through the phone, "Is this Luna Seppun?"
"Yes..." Luna replied stonily, "Who are you?"
"My name is Kyoujin Wartooth" The stranger's voice lifted quite a bit, "Pleased to meet you."
"A pleasure, I'm sure" Luna sighed, "But I'm not really in the mood to chat with-"
"Please! I live nearby to you, and I'm just a teenage girl" Kyoujin was worried that Luna would hang up, "I'm terribly sorry for what happened to you... and I mean that. It's horrible. I'd like to talk to you about it."
"How the hell do you know-"
"Please don't get mad! I go on weird sitings forums and stuff... I'm into this sort of thing" Kyoujin sounded anxious now, "And I just wanna meet you once... are you free tonight or tomorrow?"
"Uh... Wartooth huh?" Luna questioned, "You're from that rich family, right? Well... I'm just gonna stay home tonight, I'll meet you tomorrow if I feel okay... Where?"
"Your place is fine."
"I guess you found at where that was while finding my phone number, huh?"
"Yep" Kyoujin replied, sounding overjoyed.
"Whatever then, tomorrow, here, 11AM should be fine" Luna felt exhausted by this conversation, which was fair since she hadn't slept in 48 hours, "Meet you then, Miss Wartooth."
With that, she hung up, ignoring the goodbyes of the young girl.

Luna walked back to the shower and stepped in, she found it amazingly refreshing to have hot water run over her body again. It was cleaning her body and putting her mind to rest all at once. It was heaven.

Kyoujin put the phone down and turned to her friend, "We've got her tomorrow at 11!"
The next thing she did was lunge over and hug her.

*She makes a triumphant fist behind Kyoujin's back.*

*Thiera spins the lance, handing its non-sharp end to Taiyo. Ladon swings his tail back around & curls up, closing all of his eyes.*

"I have to admit" Kyoujin said as she released her friend from a tight hug and moved back to a seat, "She agreed pretty easy. I guess she might still be curious about all this supernatural stuff... which is lucky for us!"

*Taiyo takes the lance back.*

Taiyo:<...Thank you...>

*Allina starts heading back. Ari looks at Thiera like "What now?".*

T"Well, come on, we may as well enjoy the sights before flying back tomorrow."

"What sights? The country is nothing but sand."

Allina: <I'd like to see food. That I'd like to see.>

<You heard the ancient god-dragon, we have to leave the city, pronto. So we'll have to drive back before lunch.>

Allina: <I wasn't saying I wanted to eat here, this place is incredibly spooky.>
