Sins of the Father

*In the engine room, Hitomi resumes staring at things.*

*Ingrid finds a shower that, for some reason, has a laminated & lifesize portrait of Senthose inside. Al Bhed form.*

*Luna enters the engine room.*

"I just wanted to let you know that I found a shop."

Ingrid sees the shower, notices the portrait, and continues right the fuck on looking for another.

"Okay."

*She begins to leave the engine room.*

*Luna runs into Ingrid in the hallway.*

"Hey. We found a shop. Want to stock up on anything before we head to Guadosalam?"

"Uh, yea, I'll be sure to do that, but first I'd really like to get washed up. Is there a shower on this ship, besides the one with that portrait?"

"No. No there is not. Why does it bother you?"

OOC: Foe yay!

"More than a little in all honesty..." Ingrid said blushing. "I can't imagine undressing in front of a man staring at me like that."

"It's just a picture. It's not like you pose in front of it or anything."

[I do.]

"Unless you have self-image issues, or something."

[I haven't been getting much sleep lately...are my Guado veins popping out? She's staring at them, isn't she?]

*Lilith puts a hand to her lower face, as if in thought.*

Ingrid fidgets with her hands, "Its not that, I just... don't feel comfortable being around men while naked, especially in a shower." Ingrid runs a hand through her hair, "I'm guessing there isn't a way to just, I don't know, take the portrait down, and put it back up later?"

*Hitomi tugs on Luna's sleeve.*

"Where's the shop?"

Ingrid jumped slightly, "Hitomi... where did you come from?"

"One second, Hitomi. It's a picture. It's not going to molest you. Besides, what are you going to do when you find yourself a boyfriend? I don't know, you could color in the eyes with a marker, or something. It IS laminated."

*She turns to Hitomi.*

"Sorry, wanted to say that before I forgot...what did you want again? Oh, right, the shop. C'mon, I'll take you there."

*She holds out her hand towards Hitomi.*

Ingrid blushes again, "I... doubt that would ever become an issue." Ingrid said. "Do you have a marker?"

*Hitomi stares at Luna's hand like it might bite her. Hesitating she slowly reaches out and takes it.*

*From the engine room, they can hear a faint, high-pitched whisper going, "Scissor me, Luna, Hitomi!" Luna grabs Hitomi's hand & turns, handing Ingrid a marker.*

"Here you go. And don't worry, you'll find someone one day, when this has all blown over. A lot of guys would like you, once they got to know you."

*Completely missing the point, she starts to walk towards the shop with Hitomi.*

Ingrid let out a sigh, and looked at the marker, "Yea... sure." She said.

Ingrid locks the bathroom door, colors in Senthose's entire face with the marker, and sheepishly begins to undress and shower.

*With a doe eyed look on her face, Hitomi walks with Luna.*

[This feels nice. It's warm.]

*She pushes open the door & walks them into the shop.*

"Okay, here we are...is there anything particular you were thinking of getting?"

*When she turns around, she sees Senthose standing there.*

<Don't mind me, I'm just an imaginary manifestation of your irrational fears. Also, remember to schedule that haircut you've been meaning to get.>

*She then realized that it was just the poster the entire time.*

Ingrid covers herself and backs into the corner of the shower, rocking back and forth slowly, wide eyed, as the water washes over her.

*Hitomi goes to step up to the corner, but stops so she doesn't have to let go of Luna.*

*Ark arrives in front of the shower.*

Ark: <I will eat your soul...>

*Luna walks a bit further.*

Since Ingrid locked the bathroom, Ark does no such thing. Ingrid finishes her shower and quickly gets dry, dressed, and the fuck out of the bathroom, never to speak of what she saw again.

*After some pointing and exchanging and other things, Hitomi's broke, but she has an assortment of spells and a fancy cloak (hanging over her arm so she doesn't let go of Luna). That would be better if the hood had cat ears.*
