Sins of the Father

"I'm quite alright," Ingrid said with a smile, "Thank you for the offer though, Luna."

*Hitomi sits away from the door.*

[It's still there. That same painful feeling from Luna's scolding didn't go away. That shouldn't happen, right? I don't like this feeling. I want it to go away and never return.]

*The airship then comes to a stop.*

Captain<We're now hovering just slightly above the summit.>

"Are there a lot of Ronso assembled?"

Captain<About 10 warriors.>

Ingrid smiled, "Glad to know we're deserving of a welcome party. So, shall we go to them?"

"I suppose. Hitomi, are you ready? And where the Hell is Ark?"

*Hitomi jumps, unaware anyone had went outside.*

"Y-yes."

*She stands up.*

"I don't know, I have not seen him since yesterday."

*Ark wakes up to them and yawns.*

Ark: <Present.>

"Then I guess we just go in."

*Valefor swoops down, hovering next to the deck. Luna climbs onto her.*

Ingrid climbs on behind her.

*Hitomi reluctantly climbs on behind Ingrid.*

*After everyone gets on, Valefor flies over the Ronso, & lands in front of them.*

"They weren't even affected by the Sonic Wings...this could be bad."

<If you give yourselves over, then we won't have to kill you.>

"They make a compelling argument, care to propose a counteroffer?" Ingrid quipped.

*Ark looks from the Ronso to Ingrid and then down at his sheathed daggers, and sighs. He then draws them and adopts a battle stance.*

*Hitomi gets off of Valefore and moves back away from her.*

"We don't want any trouble. We just want to talk to the Fayth."

<Even if that could be allowed, you killed a Maester. There is no avoiding this.>

"...Maester Belias Ronso killed himself."

*At that, all of the Ronso roar angrily.*

<How dare you defile his memory!>

"Look, I'm not sure why he did it either. The more I think about it, I don't think he was our real enemy. If we could JUST talk to the Fayth, I'm sure they could clear everything up."

*Ark does his best to resist the urge to speak. He straightens himself and takes a step back, staring at the Ronso Warriors.*

Ingrid also waits quietly for something to happen.

*The Ronso whisper with each other. When they conclude, one of them heads to the teleport pad, disappearing.*

<We will send for the new leader of Ronso Tribe. He'll know what to do. Wait there.>

Ingrid takes a seat. "Well, this may work out better than I though."

*Ark sits down and crosses his arms over his chest, shivering a little.*

*Hitomi continues to stand where she is.*

*The Ronso arrives with an 8-foot Ronso wearing clothes like the old Maester's. He walks up & scowls at them, especially Hitomi, who should find him very vamiliar.*

Zazak<I am told you say the Maester killed himself. That is a serious accusation. You can prove?>

"Did anyone happen to have a movie sphere rolling at the time?" Ingrid asked.

*Hitomi averts her eyes, looking away from Zazak.*
