*Giving up on support for the time being, Hitomi casts Aeroga.*

Ingrid casts protect on herself, then Aeroga on Jyscal's spear.

*Jyscal snaps his fingers, casting Blizzard on the party and one of the Mortiphasms. The Mortiphasms turn blue with a black '1' in the center. Luna blocks a strike from his tail.*

Ingrid tries to dodge out of the way, then casts reflect on herself, as well as Flare on the Mortiphasms, then a Flare on Jyscal's spear.

*Hitomi casts Blizzaga on Jysal's main body.*

*Jyscal snaps his fingers, enveloping all of the Mortiphasms with reflective barriers. This also has the curious effect of causing them to resemble mirrors. He then charges these bastard mages, grabbing Luna's throat with his tail & hurling her aside.*

*Hitomi casts Protect on herself.*

Ingrid flares Jyscal while trying desperately to put distance between herself and the man.

*Jyscal charges through the Flare with no adverse effects whatsoever & slashes Hitomi across the midsection.*

~Hitomi is poisoned!~

"Hitomi, try to dispell the mortiphasms. I'm pretty sure that is just a reflect spell, meaning only reflect can affect him, which does us no good."

*Hitomi casts Esuna on herself. When all that is said and done she casts Dispel on a Mortiphasm.*

*Ark proceeds to shower that Mortiphasm with Aeroga spells.*

Ingrid casts Aeroga on the spear.

*After the Mortiphasm turns green, Jyscal hits them with another Ultima.*

*Hitomi casts Curaga on Luna followed by herself.*

Ingrid dive rolls out the way, while casting Aeroga on the spear.

*Ark attempts to stab at a Mortiphasm.*

*Jyscal joins the cool kids & casts Curaga on himself. The Mortiphasm dissolves into Pyreflies.*

*Ark casts Haste on himself and stabs at another Mortiphasm.*

Ingrid casts Aeroga on the spear again.

*Hitomi casts Aeroga on the tail.*

Ingrid casts Aeroga on the spear.

*That Mortiphasm also dissolves. Seeing his cracked, pitted, and dissolving armor, Jyscal causes Pyreflies to enter it, fixing it up completely. During the process, Luna slashes his wrist, causing him to drop his spear.*

*Hitomi casts Aeroga on the armor.*

Ingrid casts Flare on the Mortiphasm, then Flare on Jyscal.
