Sins of the Father

*As the airship flies off, Luna stabs her weapon into the ground. Pyreflies swirl around a point in front of them, turning black until a pair of red eyes opens in the cloud, which then forms into Senthose.*

<So. This is the end, isn't it?>

Ingrid can't even look at Senthose, knowing that if he was being used as the final aeon then Luna wasn't going to live much longer. Her eyes downcast, Ingrid does nothing but clench her fist and grind her teeth.

*Hitomi stares at the ground, her eyes shut, biting her lip.*

*A whale war cry echoes throughout the Calm Lands as Sin emerges from over the cliffs, landing behind Senthose & opening its mouth wide.*

"It's all coming together now. Trust me, I have this under control. Believe it or not, I have a solution to ending Sin's threat while preserving our lives."

Ingrid looked at him, as hopeful as a schoolgirl on valentine's day who just found out she has a secret admirer, all this despite the giant death whale maw in the background, "How?!"

*Hitomi looks up at Luna with an almost hopeful expression, blood trickling from her lip from biting it too hard.*

*Sin begins gathering black energy at its jaws.*

"There's no time to go into it now. I suggest you all stand back."

*He turns around, charging a Hypernova.*

Ingrid casts protect on herself, then stands back.

*Hitomi steps back casting Shell on herself.*

*Ark also steps back, casting Regen on himself.*

<Not nearly far enough, but whatever.>

*As Sin lets the orb fly, Senthose counters with the Hypernova. When they meet, they form a pulsing ball of white energy that dwarfs the airship. This orb then explodes outwards. Senthose waves his hand, generating a 10x10, 5 foot thick rock wall in front of the party, which is rapidly dissolved by the clouds of energy flying through the Calm Lands. Sin raises a fin.*

"This is incredible...is there anything we can even do?"

<There are weak points on the base of Sin's arms. Try to target them if you can do it without getting yourselves killed.>

*Sin slams his fin down towards the party.*

*Hitomi casts Protect on herself then Luna.*

Ingrid tries her best to get out of the way of a giant fin while casting Meteor on it.

*Luna grabs the moronic subhuman garbage & rolls out of the way of the fin. Even though they get out of range, a shockwave rocks through them, hurling them away from each other. Sin's fin comes around to hit Hitomi & Luna as Senthose Hypernovas the ground under Sin, causing the beast to sink into molten rock.*

Ingrid rushed over towards Luna and extended her hand to help her up, "Come on, you can't just stay there, it isn't safe." She said, casting Flare on Sin's Fin.

*Hitomi gets up and runs off away from the fin.*

*Senthose takes a step forward, a torrent of magma pillars erupting all around it. As it screeches, pieces of its armor fall off. Most fall into the magma, but a few dozen surround the group, turning into Sinscales.*

Ingrid uses quake on them.

*Ark slashes at the nearest Sinscale.*

*Hitomi casts Haste on Luna & Ark.*

*Once the Sinscales are dead, Senthose teleports to Sin's back & slices off his tail. As it roars, the tail twists & breaks apart, forming large blobs of pulsing flesh. Luna waves her spear at a magma pillar, which turns into a step of rocks up to one of Sin's shoulders. She starts running up it as one of the newly formed Sinspawn Gui takes a swipe at her & misses. Up top, Senthose holds out a hand, & Sin's face is forced into the ground, where it detonates a blast of energy, destroying most of its eyes.*

<It's shocking just how powerful it is. Even at this level, I can't hold it much longer. You have to sever the fins, it's the only way to weaken it.>

Ingrid casts Meteor on the already weakened fin.

*That one falls off, rolling into the canyon & plugging it up. The Sinspawn Gui that attacked Luna approaches Ingrid, its head chittering. Up above, Luna stabs the other fin's core, destroying it with a Giga Gravitation. As that arm falls off, it crushes the pillar, causing Luna to go into free fall.*

Ingrid casts a Flare on the head. Seeing Luna falling out of the sky she turns towards Hitomi and calls out, "Hitomi, Luna is falling." As she shouted this she pointed to Luna.

*Hitomi runs off to be fell on by Luna.*
