Sins of the Father

*Hitomi casts Osmose on St. Bevelle then Curaga on herself and Luna.*

*Ark casts Aeroga on the clone and dashes towards it.*

*None of the Osmose spells work on the clone & Ark is presumably out of MP. The clone once again appears behind Ark. Senthose chucks a rock at it & it appears behind him.*

<Interesting.>

*Up above, the Cordysin calls a swarm of Meteors to start falling out of the sky.*

Ingrid uses an Ether, and tries to move closer towards Sin to avoid the Meteors. At the same time she casts Flare on Sin.

Ark: <Quite.>

*Ark hurls a rock at the clone as well and immediately turns around to slash at it.*

*As the clone disintegrates, it sends out 3 more flesh flowers, which fire lasers at Ark & Ingrid. Luna blocks a laser aimed at her while Senthose throws a sword at it, slicing it in half.*

"I think he wants to keep us away from him."

*Ark throws himself forward to dodge incoming lasers and hurls a dagger at the flower.*

Ark: <Maybe you and I can get close if Ingrid, Senthose and Hitomi cover us?>

Ingrid dodges the lazers much the same way Ark did, and Flares the two remaining flowers.

<Sin is just sitting there. If we get close enough, we should be able to climb up on its back & attack directly.>

*In the lull of activity, it sends out 3 more Flesh Flowers.*

Ark: <Let's do this then.>

*Ark hurls a dagger at a flower again and motions Ingrid to deal with the rest as he retrieves his daggers and dashes towards Sin.*

*Hitomi casts Osmose on Sin. If that doesn't work, she uses an Ether.*

*When they arrive at the place where the grass meets Sin's disgusting flesh, a large wall emerges from its head & grows a bunch of spikes, to prevent them from moving any closer.*

Ark: <...Get down!>

*He throws a grenade at the wall and ducks.*

*Hitomi casts Holy on a flower thing.*

Ingrid flares the remaining two flowers.

*Luna & Senthose both stab the spike wall. Part of it detaches from the rest & squashes down on Luna, perforating her. All of the wall segments jingle & blast a cloud of green gas towards the party.*

*Ark throws another Grenade at the wall as he backs away from the cloud of gas.*

*Hitomi casts Aeroga to hopefully damage the wall and blow away the gas followed by Curaga on Luna.*

Ingrid follows Hitomi's lead and uses Aeroga to hopefully dissipate the gas before it reaches her.

*This strategy sees some success. By hacking into the wind damaged point in the wall, Luna & Senthose manage to cause that segment to shatter. The other segments shake, emitting more gas.*

Ingrid repeats the strategy, seeing as it has already worked before.

*Hitomi continues casting Aeroga.*

*Euryale & Senthose run through the wall as the gap starts to stitch itself shut. From above, Bevelle casts Osmose on the mages.*

*Hitomi takes an Ether then casts Holy on the wall and heads towards it.*

*Ark stabs into the gap and draws his daggers down.*
