Kari & Kentaro:<"Two Apple Gummi's">

Creed purchases 2 apple gummies.

Alto does the same.

OOC: For Tae, Both of them use "Enhancements" which imbue their swords with abilities. Alto uses direct offensive attachments (he can equip 3 minor or 1 major at a time). These boost the offensive output of his greatsword by making it deal more damage to a specific enemy type or by giving it an elemental atunement. Creed's attachments deal with modifying his zwiehander with abilities like weight reduction or a skill. He can only equip one of these.

*Allina pokes James's nose*

Allina: <You are coming.>

Ari: <Y-You're very welcome, Lady Soul.>

*As they are walking further into Alda, the weather gets progressively colder and the green grassy landscapes are replaced by icy plains. After about an hour, they arrive at a cave's entrance at the foot of one of the many ice mountains of the mountain range Ari had shown them on the world map.*

Crone: <We're here.>

OOC: Update your inventories.

"Feels good to be home" Alto says sarcasticly.

James: <(...It might be hard for me to get through this without them finding me...)>

Derek: <Our destination awaits.>

*He walks into the cave.*

*Kari wraps her arms around herself shivering, Kentaro draping his jacket around her shoulders*

"Th... thanks."

*The two enter the cave.*

*Down a dark narrow path they arrive at a tad wider chamber. The rocky walls and ceiling of the cave are dark blue, with water dripping from a crack every now and then. The chamber leads to a split path. One to the right and one to the left*

Allina: <And... two paths again. So, do we split up?>

Ari: <I don't think-->

Crone: <Yes, if we want to get this done. Who's taking which path?>

Kentaro:<I'll go right.>

"Left."

James: <I think I'll be going left this time around!>

Derek: <I'll go right.>

Alto moves to Allina along with Creed, "We'll go with her" they both say.

Allina: <...Okay, I'll goooo... left, with James and Kari.>

*Crone points at Ari and the other soldier*

Crone: <I will go left, you two go right.>

Soldiers: <Yes, sir!>

~Split up~

*Kari, James, Allina, Creed, Alto and Crone take the left path, that leads to a room much like the previous one. As soon as they step in, two Obscure Grasps emerge from the walls on each side and, next thing the group knows, there're four pairs of clawed hands slashing at them*

*Kentaro, Soul, Derek, Ari and the other soldier take the right path, that takes them down a looong and narrow path*

Ari: <I d-don't think we should have split up...>

*James quickly takes out his sword and blocks the blows with it.*

*Derek gives Ari a reassuring thumbs up.*

Derek: <We'll be fine. I promise if something bad shows up, I'll die before it gets to any of you. It's my job.>

*Kari runs back to the paths exit and draws her gun. She begins firing at a wall where the arms are coming out of.*

"Never would have guessed."

"I find it funny that monsters show up when you are around and you do nothing to help Crone" Alto points out as he blocks an attack by one of the grasps while running light through his blade. Creed takes the time to block another attack on his end.

*Kari's shots destroy an Obscure Grasp, that quickly regenerates and resumes slashing*

Crone: <...But you were all sent here to deal with the monsters for me, General.>

*He walks to the center of the chamber and turns to the group and the monsters, holding his right hand out. The monsters are instantly covered in ice and shatter in thousands of pieces. These converge in four spheres of light that disappear*

Crone: <I didn't expect you to be the kind that begs for help. Don't expect me to do this again.>

*He walks out of the chamber and into the continuation of the narrow path*

Allina: <...I..How he hell did he do that!?>

*They arrive at a dead end with large hole on the ground. Looking down, they see nothing but pitch black. Ari picks up a small rock and throws it in. After about 6 seconds, they hear it splashing into water*

Derek: <So... do we press forward?>

"He is so obviously evil it isn't even funny" Alto mutters under his breath.

[I'm beginning to understand why Kentaro doesn't like him.]
