Whether or not you enjoy it is really irrelevent, even minute changes can drastically affect the story. Recall how many times you've brought up a point & I said, "That's only true in the anime"? Yeah.

While censorship isn't really messing up the scene in the majority of cases, it happens often enough to be annoying. Grimmjow, for instance, gets a boatload of undeserved praise because "He wasn't even hurt by that Getsuga Tensho!" Of course, this doesn't make sense, because he has a scar in the very next scene he appears in. Why is that? Because, in the manga, it actually fucked him up pretty bad.

Yep. Plus there is that that whole issue of being an entire arc or more behind at any given point in time.

Basically, the best way to watch the anime is in tandem with the manga, always remembering that the manga is chief in matters of continuity, and filler arcs are about as reliable as fan fictions.

But it was a crucial element in the story. Let me explain. See, if Hiyori dies and doesn't get brought back to life by , then it will make sense in the manga because she got cut in half. But in the anime, it'll be messed up, because she just got stabbed in the stomach and died, whereas Ichigo and even MOMO have been stabbed in the heart (numerous times) and still lived. Also, it was pretty epic, too.

Oh, but everyone complains about that already, completely disregarding things like the given character's access to timely medical intervention & the cosmology of the story.

Plus, it's actually probably easier to die from a stomach wound than a chest one. If your heart is still generally in-tact--I know I'm overgeneralizing here--but basically what you do is close it back up & make sure it keeps beating. If you get stabbed in the abdomen, it's a lot nastier because that's a pretty complex sequence of veins & folded organs, & if your large intestine is so much as nicked you could get a bad infection throughout your abdominal cavity.

Oh, & as was shown with Rangiku, if something prevents the diaphragm from contracting properly, you can't breathe.

In anime-Hiyori's case, Gin literally stabs her through at or close to the spine, slices through half of her intestines, maybe a kidney, ovary, or chunk of liver, & rips it out the side. It's not as bad as getting cut in half, but it's nothing to sneeze at.

I'm totally sure getting cut in half had a huge effect on the story and totally was not forgotten two chapters later.

Despite being fully healed, Hiyori is comatose.

Of course, Hiyori is unimportant, so there's that.

Actually Hyori went a good long while without being confirmed dead or alive. As for being comatose, she was a year and a half ago, we don't know if she still is. Hell, Kensei could still be missing for all we know.

She more was than likely forgotten about.

I see what you mean. Either Aizen broke loose or Renji wants to fight him in the same sense that he wants to fight Byakuya. Either way, no Ginjo in this chapter. I am incensed.

Or just in case he broke loose. I'm hoping its that.

Either way, hopefully Ginjo, Tsukishima, & Yukio continue to not be lame, unlike the rest of them.

Now how is Aizen escaping from whatever prison surprising? It's not.

Aizen actually being killed and staying dead would be a surprise. Because it mark the first permanent death of someone who was worth something of a damn in Bleach.

Why are we claiming that Aizen escaped? All I saw was a mention of Renji saying he was training for Aizen. That doesn't mean that he escaped, just that he wants to be able to take him out.
