*At that moment, a bright light consumes the Arrancar, who becomes surrounded by a purple box of light & disappears. Senthose opens a Garganta & stumbles into it.*

*Senthose emerges near Atae, bleeding profusely from his chest & shoulder. He grimaces at her, then moves her to come over.*

[I shouldn't have destroyed the Sokyoku. If it was still in-tact, I could steal it, and use that to kill him. But there's still a chance...]

S"Where is Lilith Psyche?"

*Urahara stands up.*

E"What exactly are you expected to do, Taiyo?"

Urahara<About that...a word of advice before I go, the mission specifics were kept vague, to test how well you could plan and adapt. I proably shouldn't have said anything, but personally, I think we could use someone with your credentials.>

*He smiles at "credentials," then Flash Steps away.*

Yue grips his arm tighter, "Fuck. Gotta find some place to release and regenerate." He opens a garganta and shambles through.

"So there's more than just beating Hollows?"

*Panicing, she pulls at her hair.*

"What exactly is this all about Taiyo?" Noct asked.

Atae looks at Senthose, beat up and... hollowy, and draws her zanpakuto. "Who are you, what do you want with Lilith Psyche?"

"I don't know!"

*Senthose pulls his robe aside to reveal the twin swords he's carrying. As he's still in Resurrecion, she can see that he is more than capable of using both at once.*

"I'd recommend against turning this into a sword fight. I need to kill a dangerous rival Arrancar, but my own powers are inadequate. Lilith is the best possible candidate. I think you'll agree this is in your best interest, & I'm willing to ignore your racial profiling ways."

E"Hey, relax, they're just Hollows, they're not very civilized."

*She looks around.*

E"Don't look at me like that. We all know Arrancar don't count."

Yue ends up in the outskirts of the Rukongai in an abandoned house where he releases and begins to the process of healing his wounds.

"It's not that, it's just the whole not being told the whole story, the Captain thingy, it's just so overwhelming... I need a hug."

Mortal throws her hands into the air, "I have had it with this damn racism! I am going to start a civil rights movement, and we will march for equal liberty! Where is Nel, she'd back me up on this if I knew where she was."

"Why don't we try to calm down Mortal, no one here is racist... it is just... old prejudices die hard." Noct said.

"That is racism! I've been alive long enough to know that!"

Noct looks at Taiyo, "Hug Venezuela, that aside, you're going to be a captain?" She sounded almost shocked, though it shouldn't have been too surprising.

Atae kept her zan out, "I don't know where she is. She is a vice captain of another squad, I wouldn't know where she is."

*She falls to the ground, rolls forward, and stands up, groaning. She then draws her Zanpakuto.*

[I should've known better than to try to fight him without Resurrección after what he did to Senthose.]

Aera: <Glaciate, Zorro.>

*She acquires her black fox ears and tail, her jacket turns black, and her Zanpakuto divides into two large metal gauntlets. She smacks a fist into the ground to raise a cloud of dust and then darts through it towards the enemy, shooting a Menos Que Cero at him.*

*He slashes the Cero, looking shocked when the explosion freezes around him.*

E"I've been to Hueco Mundo, it is a desert, not a city, not even this feudalism crap they have here. Anyway, we should probably get going."

*Venezuela pats Taiyo on the shoulder.*

*Lilith kicks down the door.*

"I thought I smelled an Arrancar."

*As she watches, his wounds close over & he opens another Garganta, to a city in the World of the Living.*

*She holds her hands out as she dashes towards him and the ice starts glowing blue as it redirects the Reiatsu in his body away from him.*

[This is over. Hopefully.]

*When she arrives near the frozen enemy she punches at the ice to shatter it.*

"I'm a canidate to be Captain..."

*She turns to Venezuela and hugs her.*

"Can I change first?"

[Or am I destined to make me wear my jammies all day?]

"Just because my people live in a third world plane of existence doesn't mean we don't deserve civil liberties!"

"Hey, wait, where are you going!?" Atae asked in vain. Letting out a sigh Atae rushed to her Squad barracks, "I should inform Captain Psyche about this."

E"Taiyo, go get changed, Mortal, you're not coming, I'm sick of you already."

*He grabs her throat, charging a point-blank Cero in the same hand.*

*She finds the Captain looking over Soi Fon.*

Atsuko smiled to herself as she finished off her fried rice, That was a nice girl. It occurs to me that most of my old friends from before Aamon's attack are either dead or presumed dead. I should make some more.
Once finished, she payed for her food and left, heading back to her barracks.

Kira had woken up about ten minutes earlier than he intended, and decided against dozing for the next ten minutes and drew his Zanpakuto.
He walked over to an open window where the sun poured through and stabbed his blade into the floor just deep enough so that it would hold itself up.
"Tentei..." He whispered as he knelt in the thin shadow of his Zanpakuto with both hands resting on the top of the hilt and his eyes closed tight, "Tentei..."

When he opened his eyes, he was kneeling atop a gigantic white pillar, surrounded by many more as far as the eye could see.
"Hey there, Kira" A familiar voice spoke from behind him, "How're you going?"
Kira rose and turned around with a smile on his face, "I'm fine, thanks. How's it been down there?"
"Same as usual" Tentei shrugged, using her left hand to lazily weave her mist in between the many pillars, "I'm pretty bored. Glad you came to chat."
"Well, I've got something to chat about" Kira said, sitting cross legged.
"Go on" Tentei said, also sitting cross legged.

"You may remember a powerful Arrancar by the name of Mortal" Kira spoke softly, staring off into space, "We fought against each other once and by each other's side another time."
"I remember a lot of Arrancar's reiatsu..." Tentei answered, "You've fought a lot."
"Whatever. I think she's back in the Soul Society" Kira went on, "I felt her reiatsu while I slept and dreamed of killing her. I was also reminded of Kyoujin."
"...Kyoujin?"
"I don't know if we ever crossed swords with her" Kira shrugged slightly, "But she was quite like you."
"And why were you reminded of her?"
"She had feelings for Mortal" Kira explained, "And Mortal didn't even care when she died. This is another reason I hate Mortal."
"So why are we talking about this?"
"I watch to train with you, just briefly. I feel as though there is trouble ahead and I want to be ready for it, and you know my fighting style and abilities better than anyone else."
"Okay then..." Tentei sighed, standing up and twirling her javelin around in her right hand and drawing her mist up behind her with her left, "Get up then."

*Taiyo slowly lets go of Venezuela and quickly scampers off back to the bedroom. She returns a short while later wearing whatever I said it was she's wearing in the sign-up.*

"Ready!"

Mortal shrugged, "And now we can go home Sab, you're welcome." With that, Mortal opened a garganta, "See you later Venezuela, stay safe, and try to remember who you are; no more hiding under beds." With that the two of them walk into the garganta.

Noct let out a sigh, "That was mean Euryale, we could have needed their help."

Atae knocks, bows respectfully, and says quietly, "Captain Binah, I need to speak with you, I believe it is urgent."

*Back at Hueco Mundo, some asshole Arrancar breaks out of a Garganta in front of her.*

<Quite impressive. I did not know any of you had the capacity to layer Caja Negacions, & create intriciate pocket worlds. I believed that only I was capable of such a feat. But it isn't enough.>

Noctis shrugged, "Its okay I guess, Taiyo... lead the way."

"Huh, this isn't where I wanted to go." Mortal said looking around, before opening another garganta and heading home with Sab.

"On my way here I was stopped by an arrancar, he looked wounded. He said he was fighting another arrancar but couldn't beat him, and that he needed Lilith's help. That is your daughter correct? I thought you should be made aware as soon as possible."

Atusko flash stepped back to her barracks, filled with energy after brunch, and power walked down the halls to the room she had spoken to the Lieutenant in, hoping to get another job from him.

"Err...right."

*Taiyo closes and locks the door once Venezuela's outside and begins to lead the group to the Senkaimon.*

*Senthose is already crashed on the couch in his normal form. Irukandji is lying on the floor, the ribbon feebly stretching up towards his wrist, which it's unable to reach. A ripped shirt indicates he either hulked the fuck out or got cut at some point.*

"I can deliver them to the Captains and Lieutenants, sir!" Atsuko grinned and bowed to her Lieutenant, "Please let me!"
