*The hyphaetrees emit a thick, green gas.*

*Euryale thinks back to the time when Lilith unveiled her Hollowfication. She punched her in the face. Fractured her mask & knocked her out. She just wanted to impress them. Then back to Taiyo. She said, "Hi." Euryale punched her in the face. Then when she ripped off Senthose's tongue. Looking back, he could have poisoned that. Then when she tried to kick Aamon & he damn near sliced her leg off.*

"...Like...you know...me?"

*When Senthose slashes, she lets out a yelp & puts her hands to her head. She runs towards Mortal, grabbing her around the waist, now sporting a cut on her neck that's bleeding slightly. Senthose looks at Irukandji, the blade coccooned in a thick layer of silk.*

<Why are you doing this? What did I ever do to you?>

Mortal puts an arm around the female arrancar, and her other hand on her hilt ready to stab her. When she asked why they were attacking she looked at Senthose, "I don't think she is going to be much of an issue, in fact, she may be more use to us alive than dead."

Noctis smiled, "I guess you're rubbing off on me then..."

Kira decided that next time Taiyo needed help he would ignore her before turning to the guards.
"I need to see the head captain" He told them, "It is an urgent matter concerning the security of the Soul Society."

Atae made her way over to Binah to report on what happened... I think.

"That's a seal?"

<Yep! What'd you think it was, a useless clown prop?>

*Binah is sitting in her office, drinking.*

*Senthose is busy trying to see the look on Sab's face.*

"What? Oh...perhaps. You, what's your name?"

"We've still got a couple hours until sunrise, you should try to get some sleep."

"Yes."

*Aera tries to freeze as much of the gas as she can in tiny ice partciles that fall to the ground.*

Yue uses his bindings like a fan blowing away what Aera can't freeze.

Sab looks at Aroma, then at Mortal, "I think we should kill the bug, Senthose, kill the bug."

Sab looks at Aroma a bit warily, but far from contemptuously. Sab knew Mortal didn't have the best standards sometimes, but they were together for more than a year, and had been through hell. What was a girl like Aroma going to do, split them up?

"Aroma Zinginzer?" Mortal asked.

"It is Latin I think." Sab pointed out.

"A lovely name."

"If you think so."

Noct shook her head, "Nah, if I try to head back to sleep now I'll just be groggy come morning." She said, getting out of bed and heading over to the dresser to throw on some underwear and pajamas. "I'll watch a bit of TV in the living room, good night." She said, making her way to the living room, turning on the TV, and lowering the volume so that it wouldn't disturb Euryale.

Atae bows, "Captain Binah, I've returned from my mission, and I have much to report."

*Aroma's face flushes & she squeezes Mortal more tightly.*

"Alright, I have a task for you, if you can perform it, you can join our group."

*Noting that Senthose was pointing at his crotch, she said nothing.*

"...Why are you looking at me like that? Can you SEE the state of these robes? I need a new outfit."

*Coming from where he was pointing up to his sternum were burn marks. There was also a big chunk of fabric missing from his shoulder, more than a few sword wounds, & his sleeves had long since fallen off. The hems of his robes were also frayed & dirty.*

<In that case, I'll explain the specifics of how each part works.>

*When he points to a googley eye, Lilith clears her throat.*

"Urahara. Sir. Aren't we supposed to go scout out Hueco Mundo? We have minimal knowledge of what the Arrancar have been doing since Aamon died."

Urahara<Oh, yes, that's right. Let me go activate the Garganta.>

"Long enough" he stops only to fire the cero he was charging art Bas's.

"Honestly? I find it hard to believe you don't get more compliments." Mortal said. When Senthose said something about his robes it caused her to look down at her own clothes. It was tattered, but in a way that gave it character, and not unwearable, save for a few sword holes, and blood stains on her shirt.

Sab, standing behind Mortal only saw her head bob up and down as she looked at her clothes. To Sab it looked more like she was checking out Aroma's body. This caused her brow to furrow, but she quickly dismissed it as her reading Mortal's body language wrong. "Are we going to get going soon? I'd rather be at home, in bed, with Mortal, than here."

*Aroma starts giggling, then abruptly stops.*

<O-oh...so you 2 are...roommates, or something?>

"Yo!"

<Right, sorry!>

*When she walks up to Senthose, threads emerge from her wrists, catching on her fingers. Winding them around she begins creating strips of black fabric & attaching them together.*

Kira bowed to Unohana, "Head Captain, I come to report the results of your mission..."

Atsuko was still trying to get a job in the barracks.

"Yes." Mortal answered. When she noticed what Aroma could do she smiled, "Hey Sab, it is like what you do, only she does it with silk... and can start sewing with it immediately. Huh, so it is kind of better than yours."

Sab was about to elaborate on Mortal's disappointing vague response when her face grew red, "It is not. Wool is practical."

"Yea, but silk is a luxury."

*Problem is, everyone in the barracks was just reading their latest product. Hisagi wasn't even anywhere around.*

*Unohana just stares at him. Like she knows all of his sins.*

*Aroma steps back, revealing a black robe with a purple tinge. The bottom hem contains rolling dunes & dead trees of white. Around Senthose's Hollow Hole is the outline of wings, with blank eyes inside them.*

"...You're on this team. You're on this team SO HARD."

<Really? You guys are so nice...Basidius never appreciated my silk. Unless it was used to catch food for him, or help heal his wounds.>

"Can we just hurry this up already!? I want to go home." Sab said, uncharacteristically flustered.

Atsuko, now fully fed up with just loitering around and chasing up her Lieutenant, left the barracks and went back to the restaurant where she ate her lunch with Atae.

"... We, uh, split up and began searching..." Kira began, searching for the right words, "Soon after that I encountered an Arrancar who I later learnt was called "Malki" or something like that. Captains Deluge and Braudal came to support me, as did two Arrancar named Sab and Mortal.
"The Arrancar was soon joined by two Soul Reapers, one of whom was named Netzach I believe, and we were overwhelmed. Sab and Mortal stopped supporting us and Noah, Atae and Kite all seemed to be in bad positions... So I gathered everyone I could into a circle around me and brought us back to your barracks using Kido."
When he finished talking he looked down at his feet, still tasting a sour defeat.

"Hold on there, who is Basidius?"

<He's King of Hueco Mundo.>

"...I thought that was Senthose."

<Basidius says he ran off like a coward, & is probably dead anyway.>

"Yeah, probably. I'm sure he has nothing to worry about."

<You want to meet him?>

"That sounds swell."

<I see...so it was Netzach they were looking for all along. I trust Mortal & Netzach have not allied?>

"I confess that I did not pay as much attention to what they talked about as how they fought."

*Aera creates an ice shield in her hands and holds it out to deflect the Cero. An ice crystal forms behind Basidius and shapes into a Sombra Helada that shoots a Menos Que Cero at him.*

[My energy...]

Mortal simply smirked and followed along.

Sab followed as well, catching up to Mortal and taking her hand, who smiled at the gesture.

*Basidius swings his sword, shattering it, like a boss, when the rest of the Arrancar arrive on the scene. The hyphae clones jump back, watching the situation.*
