"Deepest Apologies" Kira's shoulders sunk a bit before he went on, "But I was a little more concerned with how we were going to survive and return to warn you of the great threat present right here in the Soul Society.."

"Your enemy. That is all you need to know." Mortal said, pulling free her zan. "Or did you want to be the one to attack?" She asked, looking at Senthose.

<Regardless of who you are, I suppose it pays to be cautious. Gillians, to me!>

*With a roar, a dozen Gillians' heads burst out of the sand, followed by their arms as they pull themselves out of the dirt.*

"Is this all you could muster? Why, it's almost quaint. I thought you might be the enemy's secret weapon, but it turns out you're just a loser."

<How dare you!>

*Basidius fires two Ceros. Being a dick, he shoots them at Aroma & Sab. Meanwhile, at their feet, purple gas emerges, & the clones of him fly at Mortal & Senthose from midair, stabbing at them.*

Sab and Mortal both release. Sab snatches Aroma and teleports out of the way of the ceros.

Mortal uses an Aliento de fuego to shoot a swath of flames at the clones. At the same time she jumps into the air and throws a downward punch which her dragon mimics, throwing the punch at Basidius. Mortal then uses her scales to create a small surface to stand on, high in the air, to get away from the gas.

Kira felt slightly annoyed at Unohana's complete lack of gratitude, "Would you have preferred to lose the lives of one or more Soul Reapers- some being captains? If you are concerned, why not just put all divisions on high alert?"

Aroma<Th-thanks....>

*She stares at her feet. Basidius reappears out of the ground a few feet away, sporting a mangled arm.*

Basidius<Inconceivable!>

"That word. I don't think you know what it means."

*Senthose runs him through from behind. He starts laughing as the clones explode, showering Mortal in green ooze. Some also falls on Senthose's hand, from Basidius's wound. The 4 of them are then trapped in Negacion fields.*

*Ice spikes burst from the ground beneath Basidius.*

Aera: <NOW you arrive. Dicks.>

Kira finally straightened up to his full height and looked the head captain in the eye, "If that is your desire, Head Captain Unohana."

"Hey Hey, he's a man that likes to make an entrance, he's forgiven" Yue releases all his bindings which wrap around the stalks. "You're going to want to make an ice dome around us Aera. This is gonna be a big blast."

Aera: <O-Oh, yeah, no problem there.>

*She slams her palms together and four pillars of ice emerge around them.*

Aera: <I'll restrain the explosion.>

"Alright here we go, Noche Roja" the bindings detonated, lots of them.

*Aera makes sure the energy doesn't explode out of the area delimited by the pillars or into them.*

*Basidius's arm resets itself & his wound closes. He blocks another attack from Senthose.*

<How did you get out of the Negacion?!>

"...Are you kidding? I just used a Garganta. Word of advice, sometimes it's not always about how many weapons you have, so much as how you use what you do have. Appreciate that while you're still alive."

*A giant hand smashes down on him.*

<What is that, some kind of joke? I still have the Gillians! I can regenerate! Even without most of my hyphae, I'll be back on top in no time! You can NOT defeat me!>

*6 Gillians surround Aera & Yue, all charging Ceros. The one that attacked Senthose lifts its hand to its mouth & starts chowing down.*

*Aera smirks and opens her arms, redirecting some of the energy the Gillians are gathering backwards through their heads.*

"What would you like me to do then?" Kira asked, "Or are we just wasting time here?"

"Its like he never learns" Yue smiles.

Mortal gets out the same way Senthose did in time to see a Gillian try to eat Senthose. Having no doubt that it wouldn't work she begins to charge a Gran Lagarto Cero, and shoots it off at Basidius.

*Aera's dumb ass is shot full of Ceros. Basidius charges through the Cero, losing an arm in the process, to slash at Mortal's arm. Gillians flank her on either side, grabbing her limbs to make it easier. Meanwhile, the Gillian that ate Senthose begins clawing at its stomach, before it starts to implode.*

*Frenchie nods as Unohana grabs her Zanpakuto & strides out of the building, like a boss.*

Sab appears then to shoot a cero at the gillian going for Mortal's other arm.

Since Mortal regrows limbs she figured she'd allow Basidius to take her arm, assuming he could given her hierro, and took the opportunity to grab Basidius with her free arm, use scales to bind him to her, then bite into his neck.

*He worms out of it, hyphae emerging out of his shoulder to jam themsleves down her throat. He also cuts a thin groove in Mortal's arm, liquid dripping off of his weapon to burn a much wider gash. He turns to glare at Senthose, forming from the twisted remains of the imploded Gillian.*

<Why won't you die? Who ARE you?>

Mortal uses a Rugido to expel what was in her throat, and lets her high speed regeneration take care of her arm. Shooting a glance at Senthose she asked, "Would saying 'Your worst nightmare' be too cliche?" Before he can answer Mortal used an Aliento de fuego on Basidius, hoping to kill him with fire.

*Instead of closing up, the wound deepens, before Mortal's entire arm just shreds apart while Basidius laughs, stepping back.*

<You have high speed regeneration? That's even better! Though that doesn't explain why it didn't effect you.>

"I just used my poison to kill yours. Nothing to it."

<Oh? You're also a poison-using Arrancar?>

"Not just poison."

*With that, lightning strikes all of the Gillians, causing them to fall to the ground before dissolving.*

"You didn't eat them? Maybe you aren't as dumb as I thought."

<Fuck you! We'll see who's laughing when I kill your little girlfriend!>

*He points at Mortal's face, charging a Cero.*

"Sir, I am offended."

<Too bad.>

*He fires.*

Kira also left the barracks, his eyes burning with suppressed anger.

Atsuko was leaving the restaurant when she felt her captain's reiatsu from within the Sereitei again and he was approaching rapidly.
"I wonder if I should go to him or just head back..." She wondered aloud.

Mortal furrows her eyebrows, points her stump at Basidius and fires the most powerful Gran Rey Cero she has ever shot, considering she was using a shit ton of blood.

Just to seal the deal Yue fires his own cero at Bas alongside Mortal's with the line, "He's Senthose Motherfucking Rasheverek. Now eat shit and die you stupid shroom!" Tossed in the fungus's direction.
