*Hawkmon glares at BlackAgumon like he's retarded and sighs, motioning Patamon and Veemon to approach.*

Patamon: <What is it?>

Hawkmon: <(I'm stuck with you two to help me with my plan to choke Zarek in his sleep.)>

Veemon: <...What.>

Hawkmon: <(Shhh... don't question it. Just... just picture it.)>

*Allina lies down, staring at the TV's screen.*

[Are they gone? I really thought they'd come back for me...]

*Taiyo seems to relax now that her hand isn't in danger of being broken.*

Zarek:<I did say no singing, didn't I? Anywho, get whatever rest you can. You got something of a big day ahead of you.>

*He begins to walk backwards away from everyone, sinking into the forest. Ogremon & Panjyamon had already fucked off some time ago.*

*They are in fact, gone. The television switches to static to a showing some trees where fog appears to be gathering.*

*Euryale produces a bow & starts firing arrows into the empty patch of dirt that was formerly Zarek. Ten minutes later, she shows no signs of stopping. Black Agumon scarfs down a fish & goes the fuck to sleep. As does Betamon.*

*Hawkmon glares at Zarek as he walks away. Tae puts his palms together and smiles to BlackGabumon.*

Tae: <Please?>

Hawkmon: <(Dammit.)>

Patamon: <(Love, don't hate.)>

*Hawkmon slams Patamon into a tree.*

[Euryale... and not even Patamon, or Tae, or Razz...]

Allina: <I am so mad!>

*She makes an angry face for a few seconds, but then sighs and closes her eyes.*

*BlackGabumon scratches the back of his head and looks to Taiyo who had just sat down, sticking a skewered fish into the ground near the fire.*

[I'm not the one to be asking, so please stop asking.]

Floramon:<Things aren't looking good, are they?>

Mushroomon:<Nope.>

*The television flickers to the lake. To the casual (read: stupid) observer they appear to be having a grant old time when in reality it's quite the opposite.*

*Euryale goes to sit next to Taiyo, taking a fish of her own. Tsune eats a fish & goes to sleep with Betamon.*

*Tae sighs and gets up.*

Tae: <(Fine, fine.)>

[I don't even remember the last time Taiyo talked to me.]

*He walks around the fire and pokes Taiyo's shoulder.*

Tae: <(H-Hey, think we can go check on Allina?)>

*Razz and Veemon fall asleep sitting against a tree.*

*Allina opens her eyes and looks up at the TV, her jaw dropping as she sees everyone around the fire.*

[G-Guys?]

*She looks from Tae talking to Taiyo to Euryale eating, and then Tsune, Razz and their partners sleeping and starts tearing up.*

*Taiyo looks up at him and stands up forgetting there's a fish sitting near the fire.*

"I guess..."

Tae: <Hum, wait.>

*Tae gets the stick with her fish and hands it to her.*

Tae: <Thanks.>

*Allina gets up and tries to wipe the tears from her eyes before turning around to face Floramon and Mushroomon.*

Allina: <D-Don't worry, I'm going to find a way out. And then... then I'll find a way home.>

*Not being invited, Euryale just curls up & presumably falls asleep.*

"You're welcome..."

*BlackGabumon stands up and begins to follow. Taiyo looks towards Euryale then looks away towards the ground and sets off. Hitomi takes a glance at the two then just stares forward at the fire, Salamon asleep beside her.*

Mushroomon:<Home. I remember what that was like. Cold, barren, lifeless except for the dwindling population of the village.>

Floramon:<It did get better sometime after IceDevimon was defeated.>

Mushroomon:<Till' the Dark Masters arrived on the scene.>

Tae: <Is everything okay? You and Euryale took an awful long time to go back.>

[If it's something I don't want to know, just don't tell me. Please.]

Allina: <Puppetmon likes games, right? If we manage to get him to listen and I challenge him and bet our freedom like I was trying to earlier we might have a chance.>

*She remain silent, picking at the fish then hands it to BlackGabumon.*

Mushroomon:<Did you hit yourself so hard that it made you forget he hates losing?>

Tae: <I know we've never talked much.. but you can tell me...>

Allina: <That's not important. By the time he realizes he's lost he'll be desintegrating.>

"I...don't want to talk about it."

*At the edge of the forest near Puppetmon's manor, the two Biomerge to BlackMetalGarurumon.*

Mushroomon:<Or you'll have more than just a cut shoulder and bloody lip. We're not his first set of playmates.>

Tae: <Hmm. O-Okay. Is she all right?>

*Hawkmon pokes Hitomi.*

Hawkmon: <Where did Tae go?>

Allina: <You haven't met my fr--You haven't met the other DigiDestined. Puppetmon can't defeat them.>

BlackMetalGarurumon:<I think so. She just looks like she's talking to someone in a playroom.>

"To check on Allina."

Mushroomon:<Maybe not them, but what about you?>

Allina: <I'll challenge him to fight all of us! If that doesn't work, I'll fight him myself! Maybe.. maybe there's a chance I could go back home if he defeats me anyway...>

*She slowly kneels down and wipes her tears again.*

Tae: <Oh, then she's still okay. Thanks, guys. We should go back and get some sleep.>

Hawkmon: <Oh. Okay.>

*She sits down next to her.*

Hawkmon: <Have you... have you talked to Taiyo?>

*They revert before seeing the going ons inside and begin to head back.*

"Yes."

Mushroomon:<You sure are eager to abandon this world.>

*Tae follows them back.*

Tae: <...I was just trying to help, Taiyo. I didn't mean to intrude or anything.>

Hawkmon: <How'd it go, if I may ask?>

Allina: <You're not helping!>

*She gets up and runs to the door, then starts kicking at it.*

Allina: <Puppetmon!>

"It's okay... I'll just solve it on my own."

"It went fairly well."

[At least for me it did. Taiyo was quick to forget whatever was bothering her that day.]

Mushroomon:<And you're not doing anything to better the situation.>

Tae: <If you say so. But if you need anything you can tell me, okay?>

Hawkmon: <Are you feeling better now?>

Allina: <What do you suggest I do!? They aren't coming back for me, and I don't give up!>

"Okay... Thanks."

"Much better."

*At this point, Tae, Taiyo, and BlackGabumon return.*

Mushroomon:<I suggest not jumping to conclusions.>

*Tae smiles to Taiyo and thanks her once again before heading towards the fire. Hawkmon looks at him and nods, then goes to sleep by a tree. Tae takes her place by Hitomi's side.*

Tae: <Allina seems okay. But Taiyo doesn't.>

Allina: <You...You saw them.>

*Taiyo curls up beside Euryale, her back to Euryale's.*

"I am aware of that, but there's really nothing we can do, but let it run its course."

[It would seem it may take two days like last time.]
