*About a half hour later, Gallahad comes back with an armful of jungle branches.*

Mimiru:<That's because she found you.>

Luna and Kyoujin said hello and Nero.

"You made sure to get dead wood, right? Dry wood, that way it will actually burn without issue." Noct asked seeing him with what looked like branches.

<This is a jungle. Nothing here is dry. We've been here for less than a day & I've contracted trench foot.>

"Don't remind me. The week I spent with here was awful. Especially the night I was human for."

*Euryale shivers.*

"I'm shocked you know what trench foot is, I thought they would have called it something different in your time." Noct said, "Anyway, I just want to be sure you didn't chop these off of actual, still living trees. Even if it is slightly wet, finding a fallen branch is better than a living one."

Mimiru:<I think we'd all prefer to not know anymore than that.>

*Taiyo nods vigorously.*

"Whatever."

*Once the bell rings, Euryale gets up & leaves.*

Mimiru:<I suppose if there's a next time we'll get her to go into all the gory, rapy details.>

"That doesn't sound nice."

*Mimiru gives Taiyo a confused look and the two leave.*

Noctis scoped out the area and found a perfect spot. "Right down here." She said, "Stand close so I can see what I am doing." She said.

"Uh... I was just saying hello" Luna shrugged, "But if you're in a bad mood..."

Kyoujin had already walked off.

*Allina gets up and heads home. Ari heads back to Thiera's.*

*Once Taiyo gets home, her mom tells her the principal called.*

*Ari knocks on Thiera's door.*

*Allina goes inside and heads to her room.*

Noctis makes a shadow knife, and begins to go about shaving the bark from the branches, "See what I'm doing for the campfire obviously." When the wood is shaved she takes the bark, balls it up into a tinder bundle, lines the ground with a few sticks of wood. She then takes the thinner sticks available, makes a kind of teepee with them, then lines that with slightly thicker sticks. Once the basic structure is set up she places the tinder bundle down and pulls out her gun. Using the metal part as flint, and the shadow knife as a strike, Noct lights the fire with a spark and lets out a contented sigh. "Well, we have a fire now." She said, putting everything away, and tossing one of the unused sticks into the fire.

*Taiyo enters her house to find a brown haired 6'3" tall male wearing a white collard shirt and blue jeans is sitting on the couch.*

"Hi, dad."

Taiyo's father:<The school phoned. It seems your globe trotting is a lot more than just an educational experience. Some Roatha kid wound up in a coma. Can you explain how that happened?>

"Ummm... He had a bad accident"

Taiyo's father:<What kind of accident?>

"A really bad one."

Mimiru's grandmother:<Principal called earlier today. Some Roatha kid's in a coma, those trips you and your classmates are taking are more than just trips, but more specifically he said you and the neighbor boy were in Russia close to the same time the president stepped down or whatever.>

"He had an unfortunate accident, we're not the greatest globetrotters, and that's just a coincidence."

*No one answers.*

*Allina's mom stops her, telling her the principal called.*

*Nero steps into his house, grabs his mom's phone, & deletes everything in the inbox, like a boss.*

<I see. That strange weapon of yours can change its form, can it not?>

Allina: <...What did he say?>

Allina's Mother: <Well, something about your mysterious trips and the fact a friend of yours is apparently in a coma.>

Allina: <He's not my friend. And that was because of an accident. One thing has nothing to do with the other.>

Allina's Mother: <Razz said he might call saying something like that. What are you hiding?>

Allina: <No-Nothing.>

*Ari stands by the door waiting.*

Noctis looked at Gallahad, "The gun? Yes, it can shift between forms. It is called Fomalhaut. Why do you ask?"

Taiyo's father:<You do know all that globetrotting cost you your job, right?>

"Yes..."

Taiyo's father:<Do you have anything else to say about this matter?>

"No..."

*Azuma enters his apartment, his sword and the lance leaning against the wall beside the door. He doesn't get the door closed before Mimiru enters behind him.*

Mimiru:<The school called my place. You think Euryale was right about them calling anyone you know?>

"I don't know. I'm not even sure who'd they'd call. When Kentaro left I put your grandmother down for an emergency contact."

<Otherwise, it should not be possible to use it like that. A metal weapon that could reliably generate sparks would be incredibly weak.>

*Still, no one answers.*

"The thing about Fomalhaut is that it changes its form depending on my circumstances. I just figured it would turn part of its stock into magnesium if I needed a spark, and I was right." She said, inching a bit closer to the fire for warmth.

*Taiyo's in her room, lying on her bed staring at the ceiling.*

[This is bad bad bad.]

"Assuming the principal stops covering for the lot of you, this could get difficult. Might not be able to run off when the Bat Signal appears."

Mimiru:<I really don't care about.>

"Oh? Worried about Taiyo?"

Mimiru:<Yeah... She seemed really freaked out.>

*Azuma's phone starts ringing.*

*He produces, from his armor, some poles, and a pair of wool blankets.*

*He answers.*
