Noctis makes a shadow clone, "No, I watch a lot of Bear Grylls, I can set it up on my own." With that she went about setting it up with her clone. She didn't really like magic, but it had its uses, and when in the company of one of the knights of the round table, it made little sense to pussy foot around it.

"He is a man. He hosts a show, on television... do you know what that is? Regardless he hosts a show about surviving in the wilderness. Some of it is stupid, but some of it can prove useful, proof coming in the form of that fire over there." She said.

<What in the world are you babbling about? Have you been possessed by the Devil?>

"What? What on Earth would give you that impression? Was it my mention of television? It is the twenty first century, you should be used to hearing new terms." Noctis shook her head, despite his kind nature, Gallahad was obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

"I guess this is a bad time to be living in an apartment then."

*He pulls the reciever away from his ear.*

"It's Thiera. Apparently her old buddies may use house spirits against us."

Mimiru:<And those are?>

"They're non-supernatural entities that are deathly afraid of houses. In other words, we're screwed."

<I hope you realize that was sarcasm.>

"Which I responded to in kind. Now again, about that elaboration. They attack or inhabit houses or whatever. That's fine and dandy, but how would we go about getting rid of them should they start sprouting up?"

"Twenty first century? A century is a unit of time measurement. It is 100 consecutive years. We're at the beginning of the 21st century."

<The world is more than 2100 years old. It was back in my time.>

<I don't know. House spirits are a diverse group that only share only one thing in common: They protect the house they dwell in. But their ideas of "protecting" it can be easily corrupted. All of these factors make them excellent assassins.>

"So there could be one in here right now just waiting to be corrupted so it can attack? That's lovely. I always figured I'd have to move due to better circumstances."

Kyoujin sat down next to the pond and looked at the ducks.

Luna stood next to her and looked at her watch, sighing.

"Well, now you know."

*Thiera hangs up. Outside, it's starting to get dark.*

*He hangs up.*

"There's possibly a spirit thing inside waiting to be corrupted and attack us."

Mimiru:<Did she say how to kill it?>

"Nope. We either figure it ourselves or we're screwed."

"We should go home" Luna said, gently placing a hand on Kyoujin's shoulder, "It'll be dark soon."

"Okay..."

The two of them went back to the car and began driving back to Kyoujin's house.

*Razz walks into her bedroom and stands by the door.*

Razz: <Is she angry?>

Allina: <No, I think she's just mighty confused. Who isn't? I think I might call Thiera and ask about Roatha. Maybe there's still some way I can help him.>

Razz: <Roatha being the injured guy?>

Allina: <Duh. I wish the principal had called dad instead.>

Razz: <Just because he isn't around, that doesn't mean it wouldn't have ended up the same way.>

Allina: <I guess.>

*She dials Thiera's number and Razz fucks off.*

*One of the gate guards stops him & asks him where he's going.*

*Allina groans in frustration and lies down on her bed.*

*Taiyo sits up and answers.*

"Blacky? What happened, everyone was so worried about you. They thought you were going to..."

<I skipped school. What's the big fucking deal? It doesn't hurt anybody. Anyway, Euryale was asking me about you. She seems to think you hate her, or something.>

"The world today uses what is called the Gregorian Calendar. It sets up year 1 as the year of Christ's birth, and anything before it as a year with the suffix BC, or Before Christ. Anything after has the suffix AD, Anno Domini, Latin for year of our lord." Noct explained, "I guess it isn't exact, but it is the calendar most of the world uses now."
