Golden Age: Revival

"No he will not!" Noctis said extending her hand, grabbing Fomalhaut, and unloading 6 six bullets aimed at his head.

*The ground below him & the sword shoots up into the air, a pillar of about 3-4 stories. He holds out a hand, a black-purple glow surrounding it. The Hydra is covered by a similar glow & slithers around to "face" Noctis, despite half of its head hanging limply off of its neck. Mordred then fires a stream of flaming arrows at Gallahad, who does his best to cover his face as he's battered & swept towards the river.*

Noctis puts up a wall to block the arrows from Gallahad, and turns her gun on the hydra, unloading all three barrels from her sawed off into it.

<He's controlling the corpse through sorcery, you won't be able to stop it with that weapon.>

*With that said, he scrambles up the wall & launches himself towards Mordred. Mordred blocks his attack & they both jump down off of the rock plateau. Once down, Mordred slashes at the base, causing it to collapse on top of Gallahad.*

Once again, Noctis throws wall over Gallahad to protect him from the falling rocks.

*Provided that's still happening, Allina points a bright beam of light at the shadow, attempting to drive it out of the room.*

*The shadow laughs at her with a warped cackling noise, then lashes out with a tentacle.*

*Gallahad emerges from the rubble with a kind of white glow & takes several swings at Mordred, all of which he blocks. Mordred promptly exhales a stream of fire, knocking him back. With his free hand, Mordred points at the Hydra, which rips open, a torrent of green liquid flying upward into the air, at which point it starts to rain down on Noctis & the road. Any pavement it hits becomes pockmarked & sizzling.*

Noct covers herself in a shadow dome with the properties of glass until she hears the acid rain stop.

*Allina surrounds herself in a light barrier that bursts outwards.*

*The shadow sizzles away into apparent nothingness.*

*Mordred stabs Gallahad in the chest as he gets up, then jumps back from his retaliating slash.*

Mordred<Collapsed lung. It can only get worse from here. You don't seem like yourself, are you perhaps ill?>

*Gallahad covers the puncture wound in his armor & falls to his knees, the sword clanging by his side. He manages to smash one of the smaller pieces of debris with his fist & throw it into Mordred's eyes as he's walking forward.*

"Gallahad!" Noctis called out, shooting an endless stream of bullets at Mordred.

*Allina runs out to the living room.*

Allina: <Guys!>

N"Kind of busy!"

*Nero just barely manages to pull Euryale out of the monster & slashes one of its tentacles off. The tentacle evaporates.*

*All of the bullets hit some bright circles of light at his back & vanish into black puffs. As he removes the sand from his eyes, Gallahad renews the white glow & stabs upward into Mordred's stomach with both hands. Afterwards, the glow fades & he falls to the ground coughing up blood, as Mordred touches the sword & it dissolves into rust.*

<Look what you've done now. No matter, it isn't life-threatening. Does hurt, though. Allow me to return the FAVOR!>

*He kicks Gallahad in the face, knocking him over.*

Allina: <...Oh. Oh!>

*Allina's fists are enveloped in light energy and she grows light wings that help her gain momentum to deliver two punches on the monster.*

[Mimi... Azumy... Somebody.]

*Mimiru continues trying to pull the thing off of Taiyo while Azuma begins stabbing it with his other hand.*

Noctis screams at Mordred something highly ineloquent and somehow managed to fire off another death beam at Mordred with her rifle.

*A jet of shadow shoots out from between her punches, stabbing her in the chest. Lacking any better idea, Nero charges the other one, pushing Taiyo out at his own expense.*

*Mordred turns & points his blade into the death ray, watching the shadows arc past him every which way.*

<What a sight. Do you really believe that will be enough to defeat me? If I only have to worry about one type of attack, it's almost too easy to win. So I really should offer my humblest gratitude to you, for bringing this fool to me.>

*Behind Mordred, Gallahad struggles to his feet, leaving his blade above his head in a stabbing position.*

This time the beam dissipates on its own, and Noctis falls to her knees, entirely drained, and gasping for air.

*Mordred turns his blade in his hand & stabs Gallahad through the chest, without even looking at him. To seal the deal, a blast of purple lightning pulses through his armor & shoots out the other side. As Mordred withdraws his blade & Gallahad slumps forward, he walks towards Noctis.*

<Now...I have no more business here, save for the Chains of Prometheus.>

Noctis tries to crawl away towards the river.

*She groans in pain and stumbles backwards, covering her wound with her hands and starting a healing spell.*

Allina: <(Dammit...)>

*Mimiru steps back clutching her chest. Right pissed off, Azuma stabs the shadow thing, the icicle exploding inside of it.*

N"Ow. Dick."

*Nero climbs out while the shadows are flopping around, trying to literally get ahold of themselves. Some nutsack has stabbed him in the leg with an icicle. The other shadow flits across the ground to join its injured companion.*

*She's stopped when in front of her appears what looks like an older version of Mordred sporting a silver-gold colored armor & a red cape, & a muscular man in Arabian wear with half a dozen spears on his back.*

Mordred<Hello, Father. Good of you to make it.>

"Father...? Ar- Arthur?!" Noctis looked back at Mordred, "Help, he... I think he killed Gallahad."

*Ignoring Nero as his sword with the New Powers As The Plot Demands will fix him right up, Azuma & Taiyo go over to Mimiru's side.*

Taiyo:<Mimi, are you okay?>

Mimiru:<Right as rain. Nobunaga's stabbing hurt more than this pansy.>
