"I think it may be hard to get in..."

*Allina ruffles his hair and darts out after the others, dying to get out of there.*

Arthur<Perhaps it was never in our best interest to go inside. I can feel traces of magic on the glass, but it was not Mordred. The blast was so powerful that I can't tell whether or not Mordred was ever here.>

"After all that information I got regarding a mansion here you want to leave?"

N"He said the mansion is in Somalia, you moron."

"That's where the palace is. He has a mansion outside of this town. You gotta follow a road to get there. The South Road. then follow a winding path through a forest, didn't know there were forests in Egypt, find a cave housing a tunnel and God weren't you listening at all to him spill his guts?"

N"Apparently, you weren't. The road out of town leads to the mansion in Somalia. Near there is a forest, with a cave, so that supplies can get past the mine field."

Allina: <So... we take that road. You guys are just making everything more confusing!>

N"It wouldn't be confusing if you people weren't idiots, they spelled all of this out.

*Extremely grossed out, Ari takes a peek at his belly and then looks back at Thiera.*

Ari: <S-So... they can't be broken?>

N"See my earlier comment about travelling such a long distance by foot, & why that isn't feasible. Add to that the scorching heat, the parasites, & the wild animals. And this is all before we get to the pirates in Somalia, plus more of those guys."

Thiera<They cannot be destroyed. However, though they are normally impervious to magic, there is a certain...trick. If you can find whatever spell and ritual was used to forge them, you can re-forge them. That is how I separated these links to make my choker.>

Arthur<It isn't entirely unexpected. Thiera Psyche named herself after a distant ancestor, who showed promise in magic, as well as natural divination abilities. They look very similar, so it was always a possibility that her innate talents carried over. That, coupled with all of the magical items and research she has collected, makes her a very dangerous spellcaster. If she brought all of that power to bear, it's clear that she was battling someone with the skills to invade her well-guarded castle. But if that someone was Mordred, I doubt very much that she did more than drive him off. If he could be simply incinerated with a fireball, my knights & I would have finished him off ages ago.>

"Then call up Thiera and have her get us a way to at least close to border."

*Nero calls Thiera & puts the phone on speaker. After several rings, there's a click.*

Young Woman<This is Miss Psyche's personal secretary, to whom am I speaking?>

"The Magnificent Seven."

*Mimiru punches Azuma in the shoulder.*

Mimiru:<Her lap dogs. And cat.>

<Is this some kind of a prank call?>

N"No, just ignore them! Hey...isn't this number supposed to go directly to Thiera's phone?"

<Ordinarily, which is why I'm curious as to what business you could possibly have with Ms. Psyche.>

N"She gave it to us, along with those plane tickets."

<Ah. So, you're those kids. What is it that you want?>

"To speak with Thiera? Although it would be nice to talk to someone new for a change."

N"Shut. Up."

<Excuse me?>

N"Oh, no! Not you, them! So...WOULD it be okay to speak to Thiera?"

<Of course not. Miss Psyche is busy. Hence why the call defaulted to me.>

"Any idea when she'll be free to talk?"

<Anywhere from a few minutes to several weeks, depending on how much of her time people insist on wasting.>

"I believe someone said something about him already being dead. So, is he still, or did he come back?" Noct asked, "And why is he doing any of this anyway?"
