Allina: <I think this raft is almost ready.>

Noct takes a seat in the boat and waves back. As the boat began moving she couldn't help but think about H.P. Lovecraft.

OOC: Fuck does Lovecraft have to do with anything?

*Suddenly, a fog rolls in, & Noctis washes ashore on a canoe. Noctis, for her part, sees the GAys trying to construct a shitty raft, Roatha with a black eye, Allina looking like she was crying, & Nero holding some kind of string bikini.*

E"...This is a horrible scene to be walked in on."

OOC: Out at sea, magic, gods, MO' FUCKIN' CTHULHU!

"I honestly do not care what is going on," Noct said, getting out of the boat. "For those that do not remember, I am Noctis, you people saved me from Noba-something. Quick recap, I tried to leave Australia, which is where I assume I am now, my plane crashed in the amazon, I met Gallahad, we went to New York, Mordred showed up and killed it, yes, he killed the entire city, and Gallahad as well, I met Arthur, and Gilgamesh, and traveled with him for a while, and now I'm here because he is doing something else and thought I may be more use here."

Allina: <Oh, hi again. Australia? Try Ethiopia. Wait. Did you just say some guy killed all of New York!?>

"Not some guy, Mordred, as in Arthur's son, as in King Arthur, as in Camelot, and why are we in Ethiopia?"

N"We're looking for the latest of those Illuminati jerks. He's in Somalia, but we can't get a car, so we're hitching a ride on the river."

E"We already met Arthur."

R"I used to know him back in the day."

Allina: <Yeah, and because Arthur and the evil ghost wizard weren't weird enough, now we get Arthur's murderous son too. I think this means we should probably hurry. Is this Mordred in cahoots with the Illuminati?>

"So you must be Roatha, he mentioned you. Not much, just wondered how you were able to learn modern English so well," Noct said, "Anyway, no, he is not in cahoots. The battle seems to be a three way one. I'm including you on Arthur's side." She then pointed to her canoe, "Anyway, I have a boat, so we should be fine, but if this is the Blue Nile river we won't be getting to Somalia. The river runs east from Sudan, then turns north. Somalia is far south."

N"He ate dirt from the Tower of Babel."

*Nero checks Google Maps.*

N"That means we have to get UP the damn mountains to find the next river. On the plus side, that will put us right near where this guy's hideout is."

E"That canoe isn't big enough for us all anyway."

*The canoe suddenly glows & becomes twice as long.*

E"...But it's way too big to carry."

*Once again, it glows, turning into a boat about the size of a small child.*

E"I'm not even questioning this."

Noct made a shadow canoe, "Listen, we've got options."

R"Mountains with rivers flowing down them are usually really easy to teleport to."

*Roatha stabs his blade into the ground.*

R"Yep. I can feel the magic rushing towards that area."

"Oh joy, more teleportation," Noct said, "Well, lets get going."

R"Hey, I don't talk that way about your creepy dark magic."

*Euryale grabs the canoe.*

"It isn't darkness, it is my shadow-- Oh, wait, you meant dark magic like black mages and stuff," Noct shrugged, "Hey, magic is magic, dirt eater. So, we going or what?"

R"No it's not. Teleportation usually links sacred sites, which also tend to be very abundant in natural resources. Your thing is just creepy."

*In a flash, they are at the top of the mountains, near the river. Euryale crosses her arms.*

E"Personally, I've never much cared for magic of any sort. Being turned into a monster didn't help."

"Magic killed my mother and wiped my home off the face of the god damned Earth. I really, REALLY don't want to hear your fucking bullshit, alright. Magic is magic. I want to do whatever needs to be done, quickly, preferably with the least amount of words spoken," Noct said, "Now start walking in the right direction, and I'll follow along, and we'll be fucking productive."

E"Now, listen you two--"

R"No. If that's the way she wants it to be, I'm more than happy to oblige. Get the boat in the water, & then she can rant all she wants at this Ptolemy guy."

Noct waited for the boat to be in the water.

Allina: <More angry people!>

Noct ignored Allina.

Allina: <I'm just kidding. I know you've been through a lot. We've all been through a lot. Let's just not waste time bickering over stupid stuff. It's good to have you with us. Right... guys?>

*Allina bites her lip and closes her eyes, fully aware Roatha and Nero are about to ruin everything.*

"I realize you're trying to be nice, thank you, but I honestly do not care. Whether or not any of us want this, it is happening, so lets just get on with it."

*The ride down the falls is amazingly smooth, probably due to the magic boat. However, once they get the city of Mogadishu within sight, they begin spying metal orbs in the water, with the occasional wire trailing off into the dirt.*

N"Are those...?"

R"Mines. And it looks like they're all rigged to each other. Like some big douchebag mine net."

"That sucks," Noct said, "Time to walk I guess."
