"Neglected? But... we've spent almost every waking minute together. I'm sorry though, I'll... um... try to pay more attention to you?"

"I'm with Senthose on this one, I'm not a fan of tofu at all," Mortal said.

"I like tofu, and greens more than meat," Sab said.

"I know, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't eat it."

*One of the taps turns on. The bartender turns it off, scratching his head.*

"I meant this morning. I was spilling my guts, & you were practically sleeping through the whole thing."

S"Yes it does."

A"Why?"

S"I might accidently eat it thinking it's real food."

A"...Anyway, I used to be a vegetarian, before I became a Hollow."

S"Then what we have here is a classic case of regression. It probably signifies a past of parental abuse."

A"I wasn't abused."

S"Give me 20 minutes & $60, & I can convince you that you were. That's this new thing called psychophysics."

*Since Netzach disappeared into a Garganta the second he saw Kira move, Noah blows right past the Severing Void & chases Kira.*

"I was listening. I'll admit I was tired, but I wasn't trying to ignore you. I woke you up in the first place because I was too busy doting over you to let you sleep soundly. Now I know not to do that, and I know why... I'm sorry if I upset you."

Sab serves Mortal an omelet, with sausages, then hands her a fork. Mortal thanked her and began eating.

"Well...alright. Usually I wouldn't mind, but this was really important."

*Aroma produces a plate of sunny-side up eggs, toast, & bacon for Senthose, & waffles for Lilith, some with strawberry dressing, some with blueberry. Senthose literally tosses her a piece of bacon, which she just barely catches. Taking a bite out of it, she makes a disgruntled face.*

L"Why is it so greasy?"

Kira stops running and turns to face Noah, clapping his hands together in front of his chest.
"Bakudo 99 Part 1,Kin!"
As that Kido does its work he slaps his hands together again in a slightly different way.
"Bakudo 75, Gochutekkan!"
Kira falls to one knee, panting, and parts his hands, "Kyokko."
Now invisible and beyond Noah's senses, he runs away.

Astarte saw no benefit to eating greasy human food and took a few steps away.

Sab serves herself one scrambled egg, then sits down to eat as well.

"Okay then, I'm sorry that I upset you."

*Noah evades the first Kido with a well-timed Flash Step. As he's already expecting crap to be dropped on him from the sky, he's only mildly surprised at the sudden Kido switch. Deflecting that with an invisible wall of sound, he scatters his feathers. As they dart through the landscape, one of them passes near Kira's location & emits a high-pitched whine. Before too long, Noah has flash-stepped to the area, charging a massive ball of blue flame with his free hand.*

*Aroma also serves herself some waffles & scrambled eggs, & sits down.*

"Try the omelette, then. It's not as crispy or greasy as bacon. In fact, they're mostly cheese."

*Euryale sighs.*

"It's okay. I know you didn't mean anything by it."

*Aera rolls her eyes and goes to rest by some more protected rocky area.*

Noct downs the rest of her drink and puts a hand on Euryale's lap, wanting a bit of love after the mild spat.

"It is really good," Mortal said, agreeing, though she liked bacon as well.

"Would you like something to eat as well, Astarte?" Sab asked.

S"Well, you're the one who has the omelette. So share."

*Euryale looks down at the hand on her lap.*

"...If you're looking for my wallet, I paid with a tab."

Noct pulled her hand away dejectedly and used it to prop her chin up on the bar, and crossed her legs away from Euryale to create a bit of space between the two, before saying, "Are you going to stay here? Bars are not really my thing, I'm going to go back to the room."

"No, I like omelets," Mortal replied, "Go make your own like I did."

"But... I made your food."

"'Or get Sab to make it' was kind of implied. I doubt anyone here other than you and Aroma can."

"Does anyone else want an omelet?"

"No, it's just really awkward. I shouldn't have said anything..."

*Senthose's tentacle was already reaching around behind Mortal & tearing a chunk off.*

"Really? I thought you would have liked this place. It's quiet, there's drinks...I guess food."

"You had to say something sooner or later. Keeping secrets is not good."

"And it is dark, I know. I still don't like bars," Noct paid her bill, and slid off her stool. "I'm going back to the room, I love you, see you later."

Mortal grabbed the tentacle, and kind of shook it until it dropped the piece.

"You two are like, adolescent siblings. Were you two always like this?" Sab asked, going off to make another omelet.

"Yeah, but no good came from it."

Seeing as Noah could only know the general area Kira is in, Kira flies up to his side and slashes at the shoulder of the Kido arm.
"De ja vu..." He whispered to himself.

Iris: <Well, alright then. Could use a good rest.>

*He lies down in a comfortable spot fairly close to Aera and looks up at the dark sky.*

Astarte shook her head when offered food.

After a thorough exploration of the outcrop, Enkidu climbed back to the highest point and sat cross-legged.
The only real way he could assure Aera and Iris an advance in power was if those two from Hell returned. But training with someone stronger should help as well.

*Metal feathers start gathering in the alleyway around them, like a ring.*

S"Yes. I always ate at a table, in a stolen mansion, & I always made sure to be surrounded by lesbians, to boot."

L"That last part would seem to be true of both of us."

"No good came from you hiding it. You should have told me you were attracted to girls when you asked me to move in. Let alone me, personally. It looks suspicious when I don't find that out until I've already been sharing a bed with you for a few years."

*She stretches her neck to glance at Enkidu over a rock towering over the two of them, and then looks down at her hands.*

Noctis wandered down the street, realizing half way to the room that she didn't want to go back to sleep. She considered going back to the bar, but she didn't like bars, and would have felt silly going back when she just said she was leaving.

"I meant were you two always so childlike around each other..." Sab said.

"I'm not childlike, I just didn't want him to have my food... Wait, what do you have against lesbians?"

"I wasn't going to eat the omelette, I was going to share it with our guest. Because I actually have manpfft--nope. Couldn't say it."

*Euryale leaves the hotel with some guy who's wearing a tacky Hawaiian shirt. They walk past Noctis, but Euryale doesn't notice her, because she's looking in a travel brochure.*

<So, where would you like to eat?>

"There was this really nice place I ate at the other day. I don't remember the name of it, but it had a balcony of sorts, that overlooked the sea."

<I think I know where you mean. All right, sounds good.>

"I wasn't doing anything to make you uncomfortable or anything, right?"
