L"This is why I wear black when I go out. In any case, breakfast is ready."

T"Hey, are you coming? It's ready."

Zell shrugged, "I think you would look good in warm colors. Reds, and yellows, and violets. Black and white can be so... gloomy. I imagine only a very gloomy girl would willingly stick to only black and white."

"That is not out of the question. However, I disagree that black is undesirable. Black is a very metallic, technological color. It also contrasts well with my synthetic skin & hair."

"White is a metallic, and technological color as well; crisp and clean, yet you don't like it," Zell said with a shrug.

"It is not. Metals are not white, they have to be painted that way. A metal with a great deal of iron in it can appear very close to black. White is nothingness. What android would want to be nothing at all?"

"A depressed one?" Zell answered with a chuckle. "Anyway, I thought platinum was a naturally white metal. A bit silvery, but classified as white. I remember a few metals being classified as white in a text book I read."

L"...Did I inform you that breakfast is ready?"

Topaz: <Oh, yeah.>

*Topaz walks back to the kitchen for breakfast.*

"I think you did," Zell said, "Lets go and eat."

*And so everyone began to eat waffles.*

L"Did President Arelaz state the time of his arrival?"

T"He did not, but I imagine he's going to want to settle the matter as quickly as possible. There have been riots in the slums ever since...well, since last night. People are refusing to believe that Pruslas was a conspirator."

"Too bad we don't have a recording of his confession," Zell said, downing some waffles. Waffles? WAFFLES!

OOC: Calm down, Gir.

T"The gun should be enough. Once he finds that our stories match, and there are no hand prints other than Pruslas's on the gun, that should be enough incentive to drop the case."

L"There is one problem, I do not leave hand prints. It is a plausible story that I shot Ronstadt, and then planted the gun on him."

T"That...that could actually be a problem."

OOC: Invader Zim sucks. I'm not even sure how I know Gir is from that show.

"Does Arelaz know that?"

Topaz: <I imagine he does.>

T"It is true of most androids. And artificial skin does not secrete oils. It is true that there are lines on her hand, so she could leave some kind of imprint, but it is very unlikely, & criminals have been known to take risks with much poorer odds of success. There's really only one other way to corroborate our story: We'd have to find The Big O."

"And how exactly do we go about doing that?" Zell asked.

T"No idea. But if he isn't convinced, we have to promise it. I don't want to know what happens to androids that are found guilty of murder."

Zell didn't want to think about it either.

T"Damn it, Lilith, why were you not thinking about this?"

L"My systems are only running at 90% capacity. You can't expect my decisions to be as complete with diminished computing power. Damage a human brain, and once simple tasks become nearly impossible. It is no different for androids."

T"I...I see. I'm sorry, I didn't mean--"

L"Not at all. I am grateful to you for the repairs, & regret that I have caused this trouble."

Topaz: <I don't think you should be apologizing for saving our lives. We'll figure this out.>

Zell felt awkward after realizing that Lilith was basically brain damaged.

*Suddenly, the doorbell rings, & Thiera gets up to answer it. Of course, when she comes back, she is with Roatha Arelaz & 2 cops. Both are women, about 30 years old. One has white skin & messy, white hair. The other has dark skin, & black hair.*

Roatha<Sorry to intrude on your breakfast, ladies.>
