Mortal frowned, and kissed Euryale on her jaw where that asshole punched her, "I thought the same thing about you."

Zac let go of his vice like grip on his gun when he noticed it was Delita, and not Seraph teleporting in, "We came as fast as we could. What is the situation?"

Delita<Follow me.>

*Assuming they do that, he leads them to the smoldering remains of half of a church, some of which is still on fire. The ground around it has been scorched.*

Delita<We think that the fire was started magically...by throwing oil on the priest, igniting him with a fire spell, & allowing him to spread it to the rest of the building. The lawn care was our doing, we used a backfire to prevent it from spreading.>

"No need to worry about me, I take hits pretty well. But thanks for the thought."

*She kisses her back. The few people left in the room look slightly uncomfortable.*

Zac furrowed his brow, "That is horrible... Was this the only damage done?"

Mortal smiles, and holds hands with Euryale, lacing her fingers between hers, "Well, lets get out of here."

Noctis was starting to get annoyed with everyone else looking so off put. Sab holds Noct's hand, "Hey, don't worry about them. Who cares if people judge? They don't matter."

*The clothes shopping district is a crowded street lined with numerous shops. The shops are identified by wooden signs hanging over the doors, with paintings on them. They cross one with a picture of a suit, another with a picture of a perfume bottle, & a third with a picture of a shoe--which Euryale frowns at--before arriving at a shop marked by a picture of a dress.*

"He was pretty much always 'rogue'," Zac said, "Chaos is kind of his thing..."

Mortal holds the door open for Euryale, because she is gentleman-- lady like, whev. She then asks, "So, what kind of dress would you like?"

Noctis has already dragged Sab to the tailor, and is having him take Sab's measurements.

"I don't know. As long as it's not one of those big bell dresses, too long, or too tight around my legs, I should be okay."

"Who doesn't enjoy a fight to the death?" Zac said, "I regularly put myself into such situations just for the thrill."

A tailor had walked up by this point and shrugged, "I guess I could make a dress with an exaggeratedly short hem on the dress to give you... uh, leg room. I'll call it a mini-skirt." She then begins to take Euryale's measurements.

Noct has already picked out three summer dresses for Sab, one in pale yellow, baby blue, and white. The tailor is marking up the dress so he'll know how to tailor the dresses for her.

"Well, it doesn't necessarily have to be short like this--"

*She indicates the shorts she is wearing.*

"I just have to be able to run in it. And sometimes do a high kick."

Delita<Your hobbies aside, I expect you to handle this matter personally, as I have my hands full at the moment dealing with the Church.>

*Lilith looks at Zac behind Delita's back & mouths, "Should we tell him?"*

The tailor shrugged, "I suppose I could give you a dress with a slit, but honestly, I wouldn't suggest using a dress if you plan on getting into scuffles. They'll snag, and get ruined, and anyone willing to hurt you probably doesn't mind using your wardrobe against you. Dresses are for show, not function."

Noct is fiddling about with necklaces, and hats, seeing what Sab looks good in.

Zac shrugged, and mouthed, "Well, he is supposed to be our ally right? Makes sense to try and keep him in the loop."

"Yes, I know that, my concern is that something might come up while I am wearing the dress, which I was not previously planning for."

*Lilith nods.*

"We were actually approached by a Knight Templar. He ordered me to assassinate you, & threatened me with a declaration of heresy if I refused."

Delita<Yes, I know.>

"A sweet girl like you can't possibly have such brazen enemies," The tailor said, motioning for Euryale to stand up so she could take her measurements.

Noctab returns to Mortale carrying a multitude of bags. "Are you guys just getting started?" Noct asked, a bit shocked. "I already got Sab like... an entire wardrobe."

"To be fair, a lot of the things you picked out were already my size, and didn't need tailoring," Sab said. "Like this," Sab looked down and twisted her hips from side to side a bit so that her dress, a lavender dress that draped to just below her knees, swished around.

"And you still decided to just let us waltz in?" Zac asked, "I don't know whether you trust us, or you're just that ballsy."

Delita<If you would have attacked me, then I would have killed you. It is that simple.>

*Euryale stands up.*

"Oh, you're too nice. And thanks for the custom work."

*She turns her head towards Noctab.*

"Sorry. It's nice."

"So, the latter of the two," Zac said with a chuckle.

Sab smiled at the compliment. She knew Euryale probably still hated her guts, but at least she was trying to be nice. Sab swished her dress a bit more, happy that things were getting better. Noct also smiled at the sight of a happy Sab.

The tailor was about to take Euryale's bust size, but took one look at her and said, "Excuse me for a second, I need more string..."

"I don't know that I like being manipulated so blatantly."

*Euryale waits until she's out of earshot.*

"I mean no offense, but it just seems to me like they should carry enough string for that. I mean, I'm about Mortal's size, it's not exactly unheard of."

"She had to get more string when they measured me too," Mortal said, "I guess they're just used to flat chested women." Noctis and Sab both look insulted. Mortal shakes her head, "Not that there is anything wrong with that, mind you..."

"They get more string because of your hips, anyway," Noct said.

"And yet I get the sense that that doesn't stop you from doing it anyway."

"Are you saying I'm fat?"

*She twists around, examining her hips.*

"No, that would be waist," Noct said, "Big hips are generally looked at as a good thing." Mortal nodded her head.

"At least you can justify your actions," Zac said.

*Euryale gives kind of a half-assed smile.*

"Thanks? You look good too?"

Delita<Justified or not, once Dycedarg is dealt with, only Funebris and Folmarv will be left to challenge us.>

"Don't look so pensive," Noct said, "I meant that as a compliment. I'd kill for your body. Granted I wouldn't be a dancer if I had it, but more than a fair trade if you ask me."

The tailor returns and takes Euryale's measurements.

"I'm happy the way I am, but I wouldn't be dissatisfied if I looked like you either. But I think I could learn to dance, with enough practice. And you could learn how to monk."

"Do you have any idea where Seraph is now?"

<I had a spy trailing him, but he died in the fire.>

Zac held back a chuckled at the idea that no one could keep track of the elderly psycho who liked setting people on fire.

"You don't really have the right body type to be a proper--" Mortal gave Noctis a dirty look, "Yea, with enough practice you could be a great dancer."

*Euryale purses her lips & says nothing.*

"You know he came to assassinate Ovelia, don't you?"

Delita<No, but it is one of the reasons I suspected. I will teleport back to the castle shortly, though I don't expect him to be able to breach the defenses.>

Mortal looked unhappy, but Noct didn't need the dirty look to be motivated to try and mend things with Euryale, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad. How about when you're free I give you some dance lessons. It'll be fun."

"He might not have to," Zac said, "He could do to the castle what he did here. Set someone ablaze, have them spread the fire, and hope the inferno takes her out, or he could just do it himself if he assumes people are more worried about dealing with the fire than looking for him. He might be able to slip by in the ensuing chaos, and chaos is kind of his thing."

*Euryale tries to sound enthusiastic, but it's hard, considering that what Noctis said previously would suggest they were just a time-wasting way of placating her.*

"Okay. Sure. Sounds like fun."
