Atae doesn't know what to do with all the attention. She looks mildly pleased, and vaguely confused.

"Wait, I found them!" Noct grabbed Euryale and popped out of Lilith's shadow. Noct let out a few long breathes, starting to feel a bit haggard after all the fighting.

Astarte waited for another to take the lead.

*Lilith jumps a little.*

"I'll never get used to that...hey, you're just in time, we're about to go fight Ginjo."

*Senthose Sonidos skyward.*

Atae shumpos after her, "Wait, where are you going?"

Noct stood up, and gave Lilith a hug, "I'm glad you're alright." She then took a step back, "We were just there, fighting him. He has everyone's reitsu, and abilities though. He was more than we could handle."

Astarte followed after Senthose and Mortal. She was still slightly hindered by her back injury.

*Immediately after seeing them, Ginjo is forced to Bringer Dodge a blast of lightning from Senthose.*

<Tch. Guess I have no choice. Bankai.>

*Ginjo is consumed in a pillar of blue light. When it fades, the skull on his sword has grown long ox horns, & the main hilt has become a long spike. His armor becomes less like bone & more like the outline of well-defined musculature. His pants are white fur, ending in hoof-like shoes. His jacket becomes a black suit underneath his armor, with the neck frill billowing & turning magenta. Even his body has changed; along with his skin & hair becoming ghost white, he also gains a red cross-like mark along his face, & Hollowfied eyes.*

*Euryale joins in on the hugging. Lilith cranes her neck away from the Amazon's bust.*

*She alights well away from the fight, near Binah, who glances back at them.*

Atae is shocked, "C-Captain?!"

"That is what I said," Noct replied. "Come on, lets get there and help out," With that, Noct bringer lighter into the air.

*Euryale follows, as Ginjo fires off the same type of Cero that Mortal shot, to take the blast for him. He sneers, punching the air in front of him. When he does so, a thick, purple fist with clawed hands emerges in thin air & punches at Mortal. When Senthose attempts to Sonido behind him, Ginjo releases wings of flickering purple energy from his back, slicing off one of his arms.*

"You know who that man is?" Atae asked, "Wait, what exactly is a Substitute Soul Reaper? I've never heard of that before."

Mortal raised her sword and slashed down on the fist with Aliento Rugir del Fuego del Gran Lagarto Cero.

Noct created a shadow clone, armed with katars and punches at Ginjo's gut.

*Ginjo Bringer-Dodges away from all of that. An ethereal shoulder slams into Mortal, sending her towards Senthose & Noctis. He then swings, sending an Electrified Aliento Rugir del Fuego del Gran Lagarto Cero at all of them. As he does, he notices the roof of the mansion breaking free & rising up towards him.*

Binah<Much what it sounds like. They are not in the Court Guard Squads themselves, but they act in our interest. The program was devised in response to Ginjo, by Captain Ukitake, as a way to control beings with great supernatural powers, who might prove useful to the Soul Society. I never knew Ginjo personally, but from what I was told, that has to be him.>

"Yes, that is Ginjo," Atae said, "I didn't know he was... all that though."

Mortal raised her sword and was about to swing an Aliento Rugir del Fuego del Gran Lagarto Cero at Ginjo's, but before she did Noct added what was essentially a lanza to it so that when Mortal swung away it would be mixed in, adding to its stopping power.

Astarte had moved to the side when the fighting began, waiting for an opening. When Ginjo fired the Electrified Aliento Rugir del Fuego del Gran Lagarto Cero, she flashed behind him and swung her Scythe towards his neck.

*She looks back at Atae.*

<You were told that you were to go on vacation with my daughter. They lied to you. In reality, they told her to give the substitute badge to those humans. You were an unwitting spy, your mission secret even to yourself.>

*The back of Ginjo's neck is slashed, but it quickly bubbles & reseals itself. He turns with a vicious strike, aiming to slash Astarte in half. With his other hand, he fires several lightning bolts blindly through the smoke of the explosion, hoping no one can sneak up with on him. Flying behind him, Lilith fires a Cero at his back.*

Atae frowned, she didn't like that. "A spy to what though?" She asked.

Noct used the shadows cast by the lightning to pop out of Ginjo. When she did she sliced down on his arm, aiming to take it away from him.

Mortal, using a scale sphere, cannonballs her way through the smoke and lightning before dissipating the scales and slashing at Ginjo's waist, hoping to bifurcate him.

Binah<If Lilith had attempted to disregard her mission, & conceal it in any way, it would have revealed itself in your story.>

*Ginjo's arm dissolves into dust as it falls. His arm regrows anew out of the stump. He punches at Noctis with an Ogrefist, but the roof rises to take the bulk of the force for her. A chunk of roof breaks to reveal Euryale, who tries to catch Noctis in a cushion of sand with one hand, & fires rock spikes at Ginjo with the other. This mess also prevents Mortal from getting to her. Astarte's fate is still unknown.*

Astarte had flashed upwards a few metres into the air in order to avoid the strike. Not wanting to rush into another attack while Ginjo was barraged by rock spikes, Astarte cast her free hand downwards and blasted him from above with lightning.

*A circular shield of purple, ethereal flesh appears in the air to block the attack for Ginjo. Lilith points her sword at him, which immediately expels a cloud of petals. Each petal turns into a beam of white light that blasts towards him. Ginjo is speared by several before he manages to erect a second shield, which begins to crack under the strain of the constant fire.*

"There's a lot of energy still sealed up in my Zanpakuto from the previous fights."

Astarte dropped back down to Ginjo's level and charged at him, swinging her scythe towards him in a wide arc. Any blow landed would do double the damage a regular blow would deal, due to Ginjo becoming Astarte's prey.

*It smashes through the shield, but Ginjo blocks & tries to stab her, renewing his other shield with a wave of his hand.*

Mortal blocks Ginjo's stab at Astarte with scales and begins to sonido her way over towards him, ready to slash down on him.

Noctis creates a shadow clone with hammers for hands, and swings downward at Ginjo's head.

"I... feel bad," Atae said, "I never wanted to be a spy. I like the humans, and Lilith. They were kind to me."

*Ginjo throws off Astarte's attack & turns to block Mortal & Noctis. Feeling surrounded, he tries to run away between the 2 attacking groups, purple gas spewing from the eyes & mouth of the skull on his sword. He's stopped when Senthose appears in front of him.*

<Shit!>

*The instant he stops, he finds himself stuck in 2 Six Rod Light Prisons.*

<You think this will hold me?!>

"Long enough."

*Senthose fires a Cero Oscuras into his chest.*

<Perhaps you should be thankful you were not given a choice. I imagine it was Central 46's decision to reinstate the program. There is no telling what might happen, should the badge not be "awarded.">

Atae felt bad, "Are the badges really that bad? They called Lilith their best friend, would she really give them something bad?"

Mortal fires off another lanza modified Aliento Rugir del Fuego del Gran Lagarto Cero at him as well.

Astarte fired a considerable amount of lightning into Ginjo, thinking that he would surely be killed by the combined attacks.

*Ginjo half-falls-half-dashes towards the ground, out of the explosions. With a wave of his hand, he dismisses the forest fire, & takes to hiding among the trees. The first thing Euryale does is grab Mortal's hand, sure she's going to fire another Calvincero.*

"We are not destroying the forest to beat up one guy."

*Lilith takes the hint & flies down after him.*
