*Hokuto runs off looking for another Magic Portal...& begins smacking some Mandragoras she sees at the base of a windmill.*

Noct shrugs and goes back to the game, figuring that was enough. She goes and opens the chest she waited to loot.

*The group is warped to the end of a bridge that simply ends at its halfway point. The area around is dominated by fog, with mountains visible off in the distance. The bridge itself continues in the other direction towards a large Gothic cathedral. The church appears to be sitting in the middle of nothing, supported only by a narrow strip of rock.*

Thiera: Hey, is my speaker working? I don't hear any background music.

Euryale: This area is a little different from the rest.

*Euryale begins walking with Thiera following slowly behind.*

Thiera: This isn't...going to be scary, is it?

Euryale: Hmm...tough to say, like I said, I've never seen these "ghosts." I don't even know if they exist.

*As they get closer to the double doors, they notice that one is cracked open. They also hear music from inside.*

*She looks at the Grunty Farm. The one that's like 10 feet away.*

Hotaru: Sure.

Seraph follows and aids her.

Monudon:<Excellent!>

*Monudon walks over to the grunty farm*

*Hokuto has taken to holding her staff like a baseball bat & swinging at the Cordyceps. Every time she hits one, it just bounces back for her to hit it again, like a Bobo doll.*

Hokuto: The monsters here are really tough! >:(

*Hotaru follows. Monudon's Grunty starts walking towards him.*

Monudon:< Hey there little guy.>

*Monudon feeds his grunty all 6 White Cherries.*

Seraph laughs a little and slashes one, "Maybe a little."

*As though there was anything hidden from view that she missed. Jesus.*

Euryale: This is the only area where you have to reach a certain point in the field to hear the music. It doesn't loop, it has no dungeons or other field features, it doesn't even look like it's finished. As far as anyone can tell, it is absolutely useless.

*Euryale pushes the door open wider. As it creaks open, Thiera runs head-first into the other door.*

Euryale: ...You aren't looking at your screen, are you?

Thiera: I also have my volume muted.

Monudon:<Good boy!>

*Monudon turns to Hotaru*

Monudon:<How's your grunty?>

Seraph whacks it again.

Noct continues out of the room.

"Oh, come on, it isn't that scary," Mortal said, walking into the church.

Hotaru: Mr. Grunty? He's fine. I'm just leaving him here for now because I don't know how much longer I will be playing, for today.

Thiera: What if something jumps out & screams at me!?

*They enter to find...an empty church! Sun spews through the large, non-tinted windows over a pedestal in the back, behind a rail, the central aisle, & the pews. It looks like a fairly normal church, with one odd feature--there are pendulums swinging slowly in each corner of the room.*

Euryale: The church is empty...so anti-climactic.

Thiera: Well, realistically, it wouldn't be a rumor if we could expect to find a ghost every time we walked in here.

Euryale: Is that right, Miss Muted Volume & Closed Eyes?
