*By the time he's in range to stab, he's caught in the spell of another witch, & the one he's attacking turns & begins running away.*

Euryale: So...Rip Synk & Rig Geam?

Thiera: That's kind of what I was thinking about doing.

*While they're talking, a female Twin Blade with a pink outfit & long curly red hair runs down the stairs, past them, & turns to use the shop.*

*Monudon continues to pursue the witch*

This, being an MMO, means that they are constantly surrounded by random assholes doing different things. Noct ignores her like the rest, because she is talking about important AI things.

*Except she isn't, she's just standing there, not saying anything. Thiera approaches the shop to wait in line when the Twin Blade turns around.*

Sophie: Yo.

Thiera: Uhh...hello.

Sophie: Wanna trade? I've got a Book of Curses, but I want high level attack magic.

*While they're talking, a Long Arm using more-or-less a color inverted version of Crim's model, armed with a trident, runs in-between them & purchases a large amount of Recovery Drinks.*

*Once free, Monudon takes about 2 steps before being caught in another spell. The Witch is running towards 2 other Witches at the end of the room that he is facing. None of them are casting spells at the moment.*

*Once he gets free, Monudon runs over and stabs at one of the witches at the other end of the room*

Monudon:[I think I hate these things more then the golems.]

They were, shut up. Noct looks back out towards the water, a bit bored.

*As he's doing that, they begin to run away from him, the one he's attacking trying to maneuver around his spear, the rest running behind his back.*

*Thiera looks back at the group. Euryale & Luna shrug.*

Thiera: I don't think we have anything like that. Sorry.

Sophie: Oh well.

*Sophie runs off up the steps. Thiera makes her purchases.*

Euryale: So, anyone else planning on buying anything?

Noct shakes her head, as does Mortal and Sab.

*Monudon twists his spear around, trying to hit the witch*

*The witch falls dead, but the other 2 continue running past him. When he turns, he sees that the 4th Witch had taken up a position near the other end of the room, & was now casting another spell on Monudon, freezing him in place.*

Luna: I will save my gold.

Euryale: Yeah, that makes sense. Okay, me too.

"So," Noct said, "What now? We should probably start leveling up if we're going to go on that quest, or whatever, with Wiseman."

*When he gets free, Monudon attacks whichever witch is closest*

Euryale: I guess you're right. But we'll have to go to Dun Loireag, start using stronger areas. It's probably also a good idea to get some Fairy's Orbs, so we can find Magic Portals quickly.

*They are all clustered at the other side of the room, so he has to run towards them. On the way, he finds himself frozen in a pair of spells.*

"You're right," Noct said.

*When Monudon is able to move again, he runs towards the witches*

*Once again, they begin to scatter as he approaches.*

Euryale: I'll get us some Fairy's Orbs when we're in Dun Loireag.

*Aroma stands up & turns to follow them.*

Everyone follows after Euryale to the Chaos Gate.

*Monudon stabs at a random witch*

*When they arrive at Dun Loireag, Aroma stares transfixed at one of the kite trails off of the main path.*

Aroma: I want to fly one.

Euryale: Well, I guess we could take you to--

*Aroma walks in the direction of the kite, to the edge of the platform that the Chaos Gate is situated on, & steps off, into the open air.*

*The witch grunts & recoils as a red burst of color explodes out of its abdomen. The other 2 witches begin casting spells on Monudon.*

*Monudon turns around and runs toward the two remaining witches*

"Well, that is... um, something," Sab said.

Noct looked around, "If she breaks the game in broad daylight she is going to attract attention."

Euryale: I know. Aroma! Come back here, we can get you some kites, but you have to stay put with them while we're gone!

*Aroma turns around in midair.*

Aroma: Why?

*The THIRD remaining witch runs away from him as he's trying to run towards the other 2, & he doesn't get any closer to them, because of their spells. When the spell animations fade, he's at 35% health again, his HP gauge blinking & beeping.*

*Monudon drinks a recovery drink, and then continues heading towards the other two witches*

"Uh, um, because..." Sab looked at Luna and Noctis for help.

Noctis shrugged, "Don't look at me."
