"I like the sound of the Spring of Myst," Hector said. "We should go there."

Noct nodded.

*As they are speaking, a Blademaster dressed in scaled armor with a turban covering his face, the edges trailing behind him like a large scarf, cuts one of the kites off of the statues & watches it float away.*

Aroma: Is that allowed?

Luna: Yes. The kites eventually fly back to their starting positions, & reattach.

Aroma: Okay. When are you coming back?

*Luna looks inquiringly at Noctis.*

Zalera: Looks like that's south of here.

*Cactus starts running in the south direction.*

*When he gets free, Monudon uses his Warrior's Blood and charges the wounded witch*

*When he gets close to the wounded witch, the other witch casts Rue Kruz. He isn't close enough to attack yet, but the wounded witch is stuck in the corner of the narrow path, so it decides to try to run around him anyway.*

*Monudon twists his spear, attempting to land a block on the witch*

Noct shrugged, "I can't say when exactly, but we'll endeavor to make the wait as short as possible."

*A few ice crystals clatter off of the spear, roughly halving the damage. The 2 witches are now teamed up on 1 side of the room.*

Aroma: All right. See you. And thank you.

*Aroma runs off to grab one of the kites.*

Luna: ...Fancy.

"What is?" Noct asked.

*Monudon heads over there*

Hector ran after Cactus.

*Luna glares at Noctis.*

Thiera: I don't get it either.

*Luna turns to glare at her as well. Thiera fidgets.*

Thiera: Well...let's go up to the Recorder, shall we?

*In the background, Aroma removes the kite & starts swishing it around. The Blademaster heads over to her.*

*Fortunately for him, they try to run past him, instead of casting any spells.*

*As they're running, they pass through 2 more of those cocoons, each with a pair of La Pumpkins at the base. Nearby is a waist-high boulder with a football-sized caterpillar lying immobile on it.*

<La Pumpkin! ...La Pumpkin! ...La Pumpkin!>

*Monudon twists his spear, attempting to hit them anyway*

Hector would continue following Cactus.

*Since no one else is stopping, Zalera continues. Before too long, they begin to approach a Magic Portal.*

*He hits both Witches, & they both drop dead. As they vanish, one leaves behind a Treasure Chest, the other, a Risky Treasure. Monudon also goes up a level.*

*Monudon opens both treasure chests*

"Should we tell her not to talk to strangers?" Sab asked.

*The chest sprays a yellow gas that paralyzes Monudon.*

Luna: It can't really be avoided.

*Monudon uses an antidote to cure paralysis*

*He can't, because he's paralyzed.*

*Then Monudon just stands there, waiting for it to wear off*

"I guess so," Sab said.

Hector attempted to overtake Cactus on the approach to the Magic Portal.

*This proved to be simple, because Cactus is slow as shit. Zalera responds by speeding past the both of them. The Magic Portal opens, releasing a trio of spear-armed armored women with horned helmets.*

*It eventually does, at around 5 PM.*

*Luna turns, & begins walking up the stairs.*
