Name: Tirea
Age: 21
Appearance:Tirea is slightly below average hight, with medium length black hair tired into a braid and blue ribbons braided in. Her skin is tanned and she has dark blue eyes. Tirea often wears a knee length blue dress with lighter blue tights, and a white fur belt. On her feet she wears blue boots that match her dress.

Bio: Tiera has lived her whole life in Republic City. Born to an World Traveler and a lawyer, Tiera had grown up on the stories that her mother told to her. Tirea wanted to travel more then anything, and often pestered her parents to do so. Other then her mother's stories, Tirea also loved watching pro bending with her father and it quickly became one of her passions.

However, after living for several years with both parents, they split, causing Tirea to only see her Lawyer father about once a month. At about the same time, Tirea discovered she had inherited water bending from her mother, giving her a distraction from the pain in bending training. About 7 years pasted like this, Tirea becoming more and more skilled in the art of water bending. During this time, her mother taught her the secret to Plant Bending, a skill she had learned from traveling to the Foggy Swamp Tribe in her youth.

At age 17, Tirea realized that, at the moment, it would be quite costly and hard for her parents to pay for a trip around the world. Thus, Tirea decided to follow her other passion, pro bending. For the next 3 years, Tirea trained even harder and was able to master the techniques of Water Spout and Water Dome, along with most normal ones. Her mother, noticing her hard work, was able to get Tirea noticed by a talent scout. 1 year later, Tirea now waits to meet her sponsor and teammates.

Name: Hector Cyprus
Age: 25
Appearance: Hector is a tall, slender man with shaggy black hair that is just long enough to hang down past his grey eyes. He wears a plain grey suit without a tie and will sometimes wear a black trench coat over his suit.
Occupation: Member of the Red Monsoons, Pharmacist/Small-time illicit Drug Dealer.
Bending: Waterbender.
Bio: Hector, Astarte's first cousin, was also raised in a middle-class family. However, while Astarte's family was dissociated from it's history of crime, Hector's was very much involved. His father was a thief and his mother a waterbending assassin. Hector also had an older brother, who attempted to follow in his parents footsteps as soon as he reached adolescence. By the time Hector was twelve and he had discovered his bending abilities, only his mother remained with him.
Hector decided that living like the rest of his family had was a bad idea, and so he spent equal amounts of time learning to waterbend proficiently and studying. By the time he had finished his education, he was a qualified pharmacist and a Waterbender capable of Healing and creating an Air Bubble which can fit two people inside. With the money left to him by his parents he opened a small drug store which also contained his home, hired himself a bodyguard/lackey and then joined the Triple Threats like his retired mother before him.
He now makes a living selling legal drugs over the counter, and some illicit substances under the counter.

Name: Eduj
Age: 25
Appearance: Eduj is a tall, gaunt and pale man with very few defining features besides his bright golden eyes and short white hair. He wears an outfit typical of a chauffer, without a tie or any kind of decoration.
Occupation: Bodyguard to Hector Cyprus.
Bending: Earthbender.
Bio: Eduj was raised by a foster family and lived largely without friends. As soon as he was old enough to work, he began working in a factory. He had discovered his natural ability to Earthbend at a young age, but typically he almost completely ignored it for years after that. It was not until he came near to death that he put any value in his fledgling abilities.
He had been walking to and from his workplace every day for a year on the exact same route when he was attacked outside of a newly opened drug store. He defeated a group of more than ten lowlife attackers with only his fists and minimal Earthbending abilities. After the fight, the owner of the drug store emerged and offered to heal his wounds, and later offered him the job of a bodyguard. Eduj accepted each offer and typically took whatever pay he was offered. Hector then had Eduj learn and expand on his Earthbending skills, which he did with an instructor for a few years. He now continues practising on his own and is capable of Metalbending.

Name: Dalia Lao.
Age: 18
Appearance: Dalia is a short woman with a very modestly endowed, slender body. She has light green eyes and a very light brown bob with the bangs cut to eyebrow length, and the rest just about jaw length. She wears black-rimmed glasses and most often a knee-length black skirt with a white button-up, long-sleeved shirt and tight fitting black leather shoes.
Occupation: Unemployed, Agni Kais member.
Bending: Firebender.
Bio: The Lao family has a long history and reputation of being intolerant and dogmatic. Though once among the wealthiest families in the Fire Nation- making money through the mass production of weapons, tools and clothing- the family fortune is now dwindling as the old factories close and family ties are stretched.
One branch of the family moved to Republic City soon after its foundation, and has been involved with the Agni Kais for a similarly long time, contributing both capable Firebenders and money to their cause.
Dalia is now the only young member of the family in the city, and has also joined the Agni Kais. She learned to Firebend at the age of fourteen and was privately instructed. She has recently finished school and is an otherwise unemployed member of the Agni Kais. While she will not often voice her opinions, she is largely intolerant like the rest of her family.

Name: Unknown, referred to as "Purist Leader"
Age: 28
Appearance: An average-sized woman with a bob of brown hair & green eyes. She wears a chest plate over green robes. The robes are shredded & covered in dark, rusty stains.
Occupation: Purist Leader
Bending: Non-Bender
Bio: She was born on Kyoshi Island. All she really wanted was to sew, but as per custom, she joined the all-female Kyoshi Warriors. The Kyoshi Warriors have used Chi-Blocking since the end of the Hundred Years War, and the skill was passed along to her. Over time, she grew dissatisfied with her ritualistic duties & small income. At 17, she decided to move to Republic City & put her skills to use in its biggest growing business: organized crime. She was originally ignorant of Bending, but she absorbed the anti-bender sentiment of Republic City & pushed it to an extreme. After organizing the Purists, she ceased taking care of her Warrior Uniform & using her given name.
Items: A katana and its sheath that she keeps at her side, a pair of bolas, & a small stash of stiletto knives. Also her chest plate.
Other: The silk threads of the Kyoshi Warriors' robes are said to symbolize their courageous blood & their connection to one another. They also wear war make-up.

Name: Vanessa
Age: 24
Appearance: Wears tight, all-black clothing, & usually hides her face behind some kind of face wrap. She has long, black hair which she keeps in a ponytail, & blue eyes. Her build is fairly androgynous.
Occupation: Purist
Bending: Non-bender
Bio: Vanessa began as a mild-mannered secretary when a break-in by the Agni Kais went wrong. Thanks to an incompetent healer, she was left with a permanent burn scar on her face. Her supervisor, who for the record was an Earthbender, waited exactly half a day after she got back to fire her, citing that she "didn't look like PR material." Broke, with no one wanting to hire her, in danger of losing her apartment, & not particularly fond of Benders at the moment, she sought out the Purists. She did end up losing her apartment, but was allowed to move in to their headquarters building. She is considered by many to be one of the "top Purists." She was taught Chi-Blocking & is particularly proficient with using dual swords.

Name: Selena
Age: 30
Appearance: Wears a tight blue dress that reaches down to her knees, which keeps her pale arms bare, with matching accessories (purse, hat, shoes, & occasional umbrella or fan.) Her eyes are also blue, but her hair is black, & in a bob.

Bio: Selena started out as a small-time goon, & then only because she was married to another small-time goon at the age of 20. In reality, she was just waiting for someone younger to take over, who might appreciate her better. When that happened, her husband succumbed to an "accident" in which a construction crew dropped a steel beam on him. She became moderately wealthy from the life insurance policy, so the gang sought to include her more, even going as far as to teach her Bloodbending. However, Selena's specialty technique has always been Condensation.

Name: Heide
Age: 15
Appearance: Androgynous, fair of hair and skin, blue eyes, 165 cm/ 5’6’’ and got a slender body. Wears a traditional Chinese black coat with the buttoning down the side and black pants with the traditional shoes.
Occupation: Purist trainee
Bending: None.
Bio: Was dumped in an orphanage after birth. Some people believes she is mute since she doesn’t speak much, others are frightened by how she looks at them, she usually watches things and people and their behaviour. Ran away from the orphanage when she was 12, she didn’t exactly have any friends and the adults was nothing to write home about (oh the irony!). Was later picked up by the leader of the Purists for one reason or another who saw to that she was trained in martial arts and has lately begun to learn chi-blocking. The Leader has so far as anyone knows not shown any kind of maternal feelings nor affection or taken any action that might incline such emotions towards Heide who is fully aware that the Leader sees her a tool. She is also aware that you use different tools for different things and that they have different value. But since Heide feels like this new knowledge makes her less of a victim and she has a decent place to stay, she doesn’t complain.

Name: Aamon Avici
Age: 45
Appearance: Aamon has gaunt features & white hair. The only thing that doesn't look withered about him is his green eyes. He wears simple black clothes, with a labcoat over them.
Occupation: Crime doctor, Purist researcher
Bending: None.
Bio: Aamon was born 45 years ago to the once-wealthy Avici family. After a bad deal with the Triple Threats, Aamon's father wound up in jail with most of his savings lost. He died of natural causes in prison 5 years later, almost through his sentence. Aamon had just come out of medical school, but didn't have enough money to start his own practice. He generally got low-level nursing jobs, as Waterbenders were preferred as Healers. At age 30, his mother followed his father, and after funeral expenses, her life insurance & assets proved just enough for Aamon to open his own clinic. Most of his higher-level employees were waterbenders, but there was a great deal of turnover, as he tended to discriminate against them. He gained enough notoriety to gain a few research grants, & the attention of the Purist Leader. Designing weapons for them on the side, he pioneered the lobotomy. When the council & potential council members unanimously agreed to cut his funding, he flew into a rage, bombed his clinic, & went to work for the Purists full-time. His output of weapons has gotten higher, as he no longer needs to hide his illegal activities.
Items: Aamon carries aerosal cans of poisonous gas, a scalpel, stitching equipment, & gauze. He also brought a great deal of lab equipment & materials to the Purist bases.
Other: No one died in the bombing, but many were injured, Bender & Non.

Name: Venezuela.
Age: 18
Appearance: Venezuela is an ambiguously brown woman who wears a sandbender outfit modified into a skirtdress. It is basically a sleeveless beige top that terminates in a skirt around her knees, with dark brown scarves around her waist & neck. Her "shoes" are strips of fabric, wrapped in a shape to enclose a foot, & hardened with buzzardwasp wax. She has long, wavy dark hair, which she wears long in her day-to-day life, but in a braid when in the arena.
Occupation: Pro-Bender.
Bending: Earthbender.
Bio: Born in the Si Wong desert where she learned sandbending, navigating by magnetic compass, & sailing--Sandbender tribes travel across the desert using a boat-like vehicle that they propel with Sandbending. When she turned 18, she immigrated to Republic City, in the hopes of finding a way to make her low-ranking family members money, which is useful when trying to convince outsiders to barter. She had not bent solid earth prior to this point in her life, but she is uniquely talented with fine grained rock, capable of producing an entire sandstorm on her own. When she arrived, she saw the dresses that the girls of Republic City wore, so she took what little money she had to get her damaged sandbender outfit restyled after one, a process which included ripping off the sleeves of her underclothes & trimming the frayed edges of her outerwear. Afterwards, she took what she had left to get a meal at the Jasmine Dragon, where she incidentally met the Dancing Dragons and joined their team. She is being trained in Earthbending by Euryale, and staying with Noctis, now team sponsor of "Night's Dancing Dragons."
Items: A knife made from the tip of a giant beetle's leg, one end being sharp, the other serrated like a saw. She used this to fashion a necklace of polished stones, which she then gave to Noctis. She also possesses a handheld compass, bone needle, & sandpaper. Literally, particularly jagged pieces of fractured rock glued to a strip of cloth. She also possesses a 2nd strip of cloth, about 6 feet long with uniform markings for measurement. She keeps all of these in a knapsack of sorts, basically a pocket in her waist scarf.

Name: Keter Aurora
Age: 30
Appearance: Standing taller than your average woman with fair skin, piercing blue eyes, & long silvery locks also styled into a "crown" atop her head, Keter has an almost otherworldly appearance. Even so, her natural traits are nothing to sneeze at, as Keter boasts a voluptuous figure, & a full bosom. Keter is not content wearing just anything, and refuses to don anything less than a formal dress with at least 2 layers of style. As far as anyone knows, she rarely, if ever, wears the same thing twice.
Occupation: Council Delegate
Bio: Keter was born to the Aurora family, which had a long tradition of producing Royal Firebenders. There is no record of their service in the foreign military, which the family attributes to believing in a defense of the Fire Nation's heart over enforcing the bidding of any individual Fire Lord, though their critics claim that they simply struck them from the record, due to the unpopularity of the previous 3 generations of Fire Lords. Either way, from a young age, Keter was tutored by some of the best Firebenders in the Fire Nation. She picked up the fire wall ability early on, and learned lightning generation & redirection by the time she entered the military. When she came to be 16, Keter enlisted into the brand new Fire Nation Airship Force. War or no war, this was the most illustrious position for a Firebender in the modern world. During this time, her formal instruction continued in the way of training, and she learned how to create fire jets, as well as discovering her blue fire. Her talents and donations earned her recognition, and she was made Captain of an airship at the age of 20, which opened when she introduced the current Captain to a town that was looking for a local lord. At 25, she retired from this position, transferring into an advising role in her home city. She never made it as far as to meet with the Fire Lord himself, but later commented that the whole purpose of this move was to make domestic improvements, and be elected to be sent to represent the Fire Nation in Republic City. While she is running for Fire Nation Councilwoman and Council Chair, her parents remain in the Fire Nation, looking after family affairs. Their relationship is minimal, but they assert that there is no bad blood between them, their daughter is merely very independent
Items: She owns a large estate in Northern Republic City, which was a vacation house, but now serves as her residence. She also owns her War Balloon from her time in the Airship Force, now redecorated blue with a silver Fire Nation insignia, & its weapons replaced with cushions & a cooler, but its telescope kept. She has a similar house in Ba Sing Se, and a much larger estate in the Fire Nation.
