*For a while, the movie follows a side-plot where the Avatar's flying bison is captured & escapes to the city of Ba Sing Se. Upon landing, the road immediately flips over, dropping him in a secret underground chamber. A man in flowing robes with a shitty goatee, a ponytail, & a receding hairline walks out, holding a bison whistle, & grins. Euryale's eyes widen.*

Dalia arrived home and took her remaining purchases to the kitchen. In the kitchen she encountered her mother and explained what had occurred exactly, before returning to the living room to sit by the radio again.

*As Monudon gets deeper into the city, he sees the occasional Metalbending Cop patrol the street. Several blocks away, an airship is sweeping the area.*

*Eve goes and sits down at her table*

*Unsure of what to do, Monu just continues walking*

"We do sell some sandwiches, fruits and cakes," Astarte said, pointing to a small menu mounted in a black frame on the counter. This menu listed several kinds of sandwiches, including a tomato, ham and cheese sandwich and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Some fruits on sale were apples, bananas and oranges.

Dalia sat and listened to the jazz, but her father decided to fold his newspaper and leave the room at this point.

"I guess I'll have a ham-&-cheese then, please."

*Monu eventually reaches Central City Park.*

*Assuming there's some kind of shady area, Monu heads for it*

"Okay, will you be eating here, or would you like it to go?" Astarte asked.

"I guess I'll eat here."

*The closest tree to the park gates is beside the stream going through the center of the park. However, a bush is rustling nearby.*

"Okay, I will bring it to your table," Astarte said before leaving the counter to begin preparing food and drinks.

*Monu goes to check out the rustling bush*

After about five minutes, Astarte had prepared both of the orders. She put the coffee, iced tea and ham and cheese sandwich on a tray and stepped out from behind the counter. She came to Roatha first.
"Two Yuans, please," She said, placing the plate and glass of iced tea down before him.

<Are you searching for a quality bush to call your very own? Because I'm afraid this fine specimen is presently occupied. But there is a well preened bush down that way that is just begging for someone to move in and call it their very own.>

*He points upstream.*

"Is there a sale today? I thought the sandwich would cost more."

"We just run a little coffee shop, and it is just a little sandwich," Astarte replied, returning the smile and accepting the money before moving on to Eve and placing her coffee down before her. "One Yuan for that, please."

Monu:<Um, No. I was just wondering what was in your bush.>

*Monu takes another step back*

Astarte accepted the payment and then returned to the counter, sitting down on her stool.

<Well, of course after finally managing to procure such a beauteous bush, I had to embellish it with my most precious worldly possessions.>

*Euryale & Mortal go in for their evening shift at headquarters. Though they don’t usually work together on Mondays, they find themselves both called into Chief Beifong’s office. Lin Beifong, a tall woman with graying black hair & a pair of faint diagonal scars running down her right cheek looks up from her paperwork, staring daggers at the pair, & orders them to sit. Euryale immediately complies.*

Lin<So…according to your report, you fought with a group of Agni Kais, but there was no sign of a struggle prior to your intervention. We can verify this. What we cannot verify is that there is any record of the call you responded to at all. How do you think that looks to me?>

*Since the Purists have no reason to watch a Pro-Bending match, most of them are gathered in the bar that serves as their den. The Leader sits at an otherwise unobtrusive, empty table with her arms and legs crossed.*

Leader<First, I suppose I should congratulate those of you who were on patrol Saturday for barely evading arrest. But that’s not going to be good enough from here on. We need to do something big. Something that tells the other Triads to fear us.>

*Hector & Eduj happen to be on guard duty in front of “Lightning Bolt” Zolt’s restaurant-mansion tonight. No one has approached them, but occasionally, they see someone sneak out of the Pro-Bending crowd, usually dressed in cheap, heavy winter gear, & disappear into the depths of the industrial center.*

*Astarte finds her seat. Coincidentally, Roatha is to her right, with a medium soda & popcorn. Anyone else who isn’t running errands or busy in another section is also seated in this area.*

*Noctis is also at the game, but she is in a spectator’s box closest to the action. Regardless of her feelings towards the game, it was good of her to be seen at the event, & the same building would be used to give opening speeches in about 2 hours. Senthose has also said that he wants to see her after she’s done with the night’s election duties.*
