Old Ones Return

Taiyo: "Are you all right?"

Salamon: "Gah, what is this?"

Renamon jumps down from her place on the roof.

*Salamon doubles over, feeling sick & in pain. A few seconds later, Euryale comes down with the same affliction, though she manages to shakily remain on her feet. The girl grins smugly.*

<Looks like the cat's out of the bag now. Yes, that's right. My Digimon can turn invisible.>

*Renamon's excellent hearing can hear skittering somewhere near the ATM.*

Renamon attacks with a Diamond Storm, directing it towards the ATM.

Hitomi swipes the Digivolution card through her D-Power, Salamon Digivolving to Gatomon.

*Naturally, one of the shards hits pierces it, causing its invisibility to fail & revealing a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. She also pierces the ATM with several shards, almost certainly destroying it, & causing dangerous sparks to fly out of it at odd intervals. Of course, the Tamer quickly slashes her own Digivolution card, transforming Dokunemon into [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. They still happen to be in the middle of a street, even if it's not particularly busy.*

Woman<What was that noise?!>

Man<I see smoke up ahead!>

Gatomon rushes Dokugomon, attacking with a Lightning Paw.

*Kylie digivolves Lunamon to Lekismon, who then uses Tear Arrow*

*Dokugomon leaps onto the roof of the building & shoots a net of web down at everyone below. Meanwhile, Koromon digivolves once & Euryale is slashing a card through her new D-power.*

"Let's hope for the best...."

*Agumon sprouts a pair of glowing angel's wings.*

Renamon leaps from the webs path, sending a Diamond Storm up at Dokugomon.

Hitomi swipes a Cocytus Breath through her D-Power, Gatomon attacks.

*Kylie and Lekismon run out of the way, the latter jumping towards the roof and sending another Tear Arrow*

OOC: Oh wow. You guys really suck.

*Euryale starts to run away, but stops, seeing that Hitomi & Taiyo are still in the web's path. As she runs back to help them, all 3 of them wind up trapped in a thick layer of web. While they can still move their limbs, they are anchored to the spot. The Cocytus Breath hits the edge of the roof & blows a big chunk out of it. Big fucking pieces of brickwork fall into Dokugomon's web. It's not even hit by the attack, but on the plus side, Salamon's blows away the section of web that was trapping her. The Diamond Storm reaches it, but it's had to travel so much distance that Dokugomon is able to bat most of the projectiles out of its way with only minimal difficulty. It does take a Tear Arrow to the side, though. Meanwhile, Agumon flies around the web, & back, shooting a volley of Pepper Breaths at the giant spider. At this point, the man & woman from before, a couple in bright t-shirts & shorts, arrive. Accompanying them is an elderly man & a trio of young boys. All of them start digging around for their phones.*

*Kylie runs back to help Euryale, Taiyo, and Hitomi*

<Take my hand, I'll try to pull you lose.>

*Seeing as it worked before, Lekismon using another Tear Arrow on the spider*

Gatomon gets to work tearing at the webbing around Hitomi. Renamon looks back to Taiyo.

Gatomon: "I'll get her!"

Renamon nods and jumps up sending another Diamond Storm Dogukomon's way.

*They rip a few tendrils, but mostly succeed in getting themselves more stuck. The Diamond Storm scrapes across Dokugumon, leaving a few scratches in its legs, but not doing too much because of its carapace. Its back end pulses & dozens of smaller but near identical KoDokugumon begin pouring out, taking the other attacks, as Dokugumon spits a glob of green webbing at Renamon. There is a moderate crack in the side of its exoskeleton from the Tear Arrows.*

Renamon jumps back from the attacks path.

Gatomon continues tearing at the webbing. Taiyo swipes the Digivolution card through her D-Power, Renamon Digivolves to Kyubimon.

Kyubimon attacks with Fox Tail Inferno sending the fireballs at Dokugomon and the KoDogukomon.

*Gatomon manages to free Euryale, since she was the farthest away from the point of impact. The enemy Tamer frowns, slicing a Rock Armor through her black-&-blue D-Power. After taking the attack with only mild staggering, Dokugomon fires another net of web at Kyubimon, & also continues to spawn KoDokugumon. Meanwhile, the gawking crowd of onlookers is now recording them for the whole world to see.*

Kyubimon spins around, so it's engulfed in flames, the dragon that is conjured up with Dragon Wheel, is launched at Dogukomon.

*Kylie swipes Aero Wing, and Lekismon flies towards the spider, using Aero Wing on the crack in its exoskeleton. Kylie, meanwhile, tries to help free those stuck*

*Its armor now chipped away in pieces, Dokugumon half-flies-half-rolls back & begins climbing down the other side of the building. The Tamer runs inside of the bank, where everyone is staring warily at the ceiling. At this point, everyone is unstuck, but the group of people starts crowding around them.*

Man<What are those creatures? Are they dangerous? How do you control them?>

Boy<Are you super heroes?!>

Woman<I think they might be dangerous, Hun. Maybe we should call the police?>

*Lekismon fires one more Tear Arrow at Dokugumon to make sure before landing beside Kylie and de-digivolving*

Kylie:<(We need to scram. Now.)>

*Kylie picks up Lunamon*

Kyubimon pursues Dogokumon. Taiyo hangs close to Euryale.

Taiyo: "Are you all right? Should we take you back to the hospital?"

Hitomi: "We'll follow Kyubimon."

Without another word, Hitomi and Gatomon head in Kyubimon's direction.

E"I'm...fine...really."

*She puts a hand over her mouth & gulps. Meanwhile, Gatomon feels a new wave of exhaustion creeping over her.*

Boy<...Dude, why are they ignoring us?>

*Once over in the next alley, Dokugumon leaps on top of Kyubimon, wrapping its legs around her & biting her. Dozens of KoDokugumon are crawling over the wall it just jumped off of.*

Kylie:<You need to lay down. We'll find somewhere.>

*Lunamon looks nervously at the crowd*

Lunamon:<(Hypnos is going to murder us.)>

Taiyo: "You're bleeding. You're not fine."

Hitomi picks Gatomon up when she starts to lag behind.

Gatomon: "I'm fine. I can go myself."

Kyubimon roars, enveloping herself in flames.

*Dokugumon jumps back, firing a salvo of poison nets at Kyubimon.*

E"It's just a scratch. Now can we please stop arguing? Talking makes me feel like--"

*Euryale proceeds to vomit on the ground in front of her.*

E"...Doing that."

*Meanwhile, a car full of college kids drives up behind the crowd.*

Taiyo: "It's not a scratch!"

The flames around Kyubimon extinguish, and her tail flairs firing a volley of fireballs to intercept the nets.
