Cabin in the Woods

OOC: So I could say this.

"So much?" Sab seemed a bit disappointed, "I wanted to hang out today, maybe see a movie or something."

T"First of all, that's ridiculous, second of all, even if it wasn't, that would mean you're advocating locking people out there with 'something creepy.' Quit being a dick."

*After telling Hector off, Thiera strides over & unlocks the door. Just in time too, as Roatha & Nero emerge, practically knocking her over, their heads & shoulders soaking wet.*

R"Oh...sorry, Thiera."

N"It's raining."

"I'm sorry. Maybe tomorrow?"

*Monu looks confused*

Monu<I wasn't trying to sound rude or anything. I was just stating what you said.>

*Eve stands up*

Eve<Welcome back. Find anything?>

"Yea," Sab thought for a second, "I could probably go see what Mortal is up to. I don't think she has class today either."

"Me? Nero is the sharp-tongued arse who has completed ignored me even when I tried to help," Hector looked defeated as he spoke, a moment before Nero and Roatha burst in. He immediately stood up and turned to Monudon. "Sorry, I'm just sick of this."
He turned and walked to his bedroom, passing Astarte on the way, who had silently observed the encounter.

N"He on his period, or something?"

*Thiera closes the door behind them.*

T"You know, you're really not helping."

N"Hey, we went out looking, what more do you want?"

T"That's not what I...whatever, did you find anything? Were there more of those lights?"

N"No, and no. It's almost like...like there was a trail, but it was covered up."

T"What makes you say that? Did you see footprints?"

N"No, nothing like that. It's just that we've been all around the area, & there's absolutely nowhere we could have just walked through to get here, without having to move something out of our way. Yet that's exactly what we did. Plus, there's no sign that we did. The tree marks & footprints from yesterday are still there, but nothing from before that."

Aroma is not sure what else to say besides, "Okay."

Astarte walked into the kitchen, still quiet, and looked for something to eat. Eduj and Stefan continued to sit in the living room, Stefan appearing to have fallen into a light sleep.

Eve<Hm..maybe the weather was bad the night before last, and that covered our old tracks. But that wouldn't explain the missing trail...>

*Monu shrugs at Hector as he leaves*

"How long before your first class starts?" Sab asked.

Taiyo: "Oh. Okay..."

Azuma: "That's nice. Bet something'll happen to the generator too. Nothing good comes from rain. Except for that good stuff that comes from it."

Mimiru: "Shut up."

*And so Euryale cooked Taiyo up some lima beans, & herself some spam.*

N"Well, now what?"

"In about 40 minutes. It's pretty close by."

Azuma: "Wait for the rain to die down and try again? Or try again tomorrow."

Astarte began heating some spam, though she honestly didn't feel like eating, she knew that she would end up sick if she didn't eat.

"Do you want to get breakfast before class with me?" Sab asked.

*Eve runs and grabs her notebook from her backpack, then returns to the living room*

Eve:<We should make a plan for when it stops raining.>

*Cameron heats up some spam after Astarte*

R"Honestly not much to do besides keep looking for a signal or a road."

A"Sure."

Eve:<I suppose. Did you happen to see any trees we could climb?>

"It did not take long to get here," Eduj spoke up. "The forest might be dense, but if there were any aerial search parties, you would think we might have heard."

Azuma: "So what to do to stave off cabin fever for another day?"

Sab smiled, "Great." Sab finished getting ready, and waited on her bed for Aroma to get ready.

Mortal slowly wakes up, and walks into her bathroom to brush her teeth, and wash her face.

*Nero ignores all of that, because he has no idea what they're going on about. The sound of water hitting the roof becomes even louder.*

R"Should probably charge the phones. After that, I don't know. Maybe look around the cabin some more, see if we can find out what it was built for."

*He heads toward the back rooms.*

*Aroma gets ready, & goes with Sab.*

Azuma: "I think it was built for living in."

Taiyo finishes her meal, putting her can in the sink.

Taiyo: "I'm gonna have a...rinse."

She wanders off to the bathroom.

Astarte stood next to Nero, reluctantly swallowing some spam before speaking quietly, "Do you have a change of clothes? Those are damp, you could get sick."

*Eve shrugs*

<Maybe it happened when we were all out cold.>

*Tirea enters the conversation*

Tirea:<So, about how much food do we have left?>

Monu:<I'm sure we have enough to lat us a while longer.>

*There she sees Vanessa curled up in the tub, facing away from her.*
