Cabin in the Woods

[There's someone!]

*Eve, not wanting to be alone, takes off down the street after the flashlight*

*This proves to be the losing decision, as Shadow Man eventually appears right in front of the person with the flashlight, who turns out to be Roatha. Forearm-thick wisps of darkness fly off of him, stretching as they go to become a quartet of human silhouettes, about 2 feet shorter than him, & without the hat or cloak. Roatha briefly points the flashlight to the sky, revealing that it's stopped raining at some point & now the stars are out. New Moon.*

"Yes."

*She pulls herself into a sitting position & swings her legs over the side of the bed.*

*Eve franticly waves at Roatha, trying to get his attention*

[I...don't think I can survive alone...I'm not strong enough...]

*Roatha has no idea what she's doing, but he quickly turns & starts running the other direction. A roar of wind joins the ringing as the shadows creep closer.*

*Eve runs away from the shadows, not really caring the direction as long as it's away from them*

Taiyo goes over to help Euryale.

*As she's stumbling around blindly, the roaring eventually goes away, but the ringing persists. Roatha's flashlight is jerking around in a nice, useless way, occasionally pointing back so that she can see a bright glare.*

*Euryale leans on her shoulder & tries to push herself up. True to her word, this puts a lot of weight on Taiyo.*

Taiyo puts an arm around Euryale's shoulder and another around her waist to help her up. Struggling.

*Eve stumbles after the flashlight, making sure to stay far away from the shadow man and his clones*

*The ringing finally stops as a new light appears overhead, Thiera switching her lantern on. When they reach the circle of light, reuniting with her & Nero, Roatha turns his flashlight off.*

R"Well...that plan tanked. We could keep going this way?"

N"We're not gonna make it to fucking France!"

T"Then our only choice is to go back to the cabin. We can wait until Euryale recovers, & try this again as a group."

*Taiyo starts to totter & lean from the weight, so Euryale places her hand on the wall to try & equalize herself somewhat. She then takes a shaky step forward.*

E"We'll have to go around the room. It'll be slow, but I think we'll make it."

Eve:<I'm not sure we would do any better as a group, since this creature could probably over power us just as easily. But, I suppose we could try.>

*Eve shrugs*

OOC: I'd have figured Euryale would take the side of the bed closest to the door.

Taiyo: "All right. Take your time."

Azuma: "Anyone know how long those other clods have been gone? 'Cause if they the get mauled by a bear we might be screwed."

Noct flushed red with embarrassment, "I'm sorry. It is my fault. It is why I usually avoid talking to people."

T"We have to go somewhere that's relatively safe, or at least enclosed. The cabin's our best bet."

*Thiera sets off back into the woods. Roatha & Nero follow, because she has the light.*

OOC: A. It doesn't matter, they'd still have to go around the room so that she can brace against the wall, & not collapse on top of Taiyo.

*Euryale keeps ahold of the wall as she staggers towards the door. As predicted, it's a very painstaking process.*

*Aroma leads Sab into the auditorium about 15 minutes before the show. It is mostly empty.*

A"So, where do you want to sit?"

"Lets sit up close," Sab said with a smile, "That way we can see everything."
