*Quite annoyed, Aroma quickly casts Slow on the Chocobo, & retreats downhill.*

<You aren't guarding me very well!>

*The Red Chocobo tries to run past Mimiru. The Black Chocobo counterattacks Azuma before flying up the hill a ways & throwing more balls at Aroma. The Minuet minces them again.*

And now Mortal felt intense pressure, and began thinking of names from Euryale.

"I still do not believe I'm welcome in my family's house," Zac admitted, "But my father will probably change his mind when he knows who you are. Just... don't get your hopes up. Your family is great. To you, and to others. My father is ashamed of the man I've become, and my mother has a disdain for everything."

Noct chuckled, but moved to simply a lingering smirk when Sab gave her an angry look.

"Fine then, I'll buy a basket elsewhere," Sab said, grabbing the boots, and heading off to a stall that looked like it sold nick naks like baskets.

Noct floated behind her.

Azuma: "Doing what we can given the current situation."

Azuma retreats down the way, pursuing the Red Chocobo. Mimiru punches the Chocobo.

"...Are you trying to scare me away?"

~Finath River~

*Aroma quickly casts Cure on herself & runs towards the water. Critically injured, the Chocobo runs to its red companion & uses Choco Cure. The Red Chocobo drops a meteor on Taiyo's head as it keeps running downhill. The Black Chocobo launches another set of Choco Balls at Aroma.*

Doom: 1

Mimiru uses Chakra on Taiyo as Azuma continues moving towards the Red Chocobo.

"One that is deep enough to carry these boots, and maybe a few other things," Sab said, holding out the boots.

"Not from me, that is the last thing I want," Zac said, "I'm just saying that my family home is a hostile environment. I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable."

Mortal smiled, "I think it is kind of silly in retrospect. Perhaps I should have changed it when I started this life. If you like it though, then I guess it is good. I like your name too. And your lovely skin, and your lively head of hair, and your eyes of shimmering gold, and your wit, and your strength of ideals that are so pure. I love you, Euryale."

*She hugs Mortal again. Or hugs tighter if they're still hugging.*

*The Red Chocobo is now close enough to pelt Azuma with a big space rock. He's not quite critically injured, but he's really feeling all of the damage. Aroma would help, but she is busy casting Haste, then Cure on herself, and then running away from the Black Chocobo that keeps trying to kill her. The Chocobo pecks at Taiyo one last time before dying.*

"The wor-"

Sab was cut off when Noct floated by and said, "The noblewoman's basket."

"But, I don't need such a fancy basket," Sab said.

Noctis shrugged, "You also don't exactly need to bargain shop. The craftsmanship of these baskets should be commended, don't you think?"

"I suppose so," She turned to the stall owner, "I'll take the noblewoman's basket."

Zac let out a sigh, "If you really want to, then we shall. Just... please don't hold them against me. And please don't kill my mother."

"Everything about you is beautiful, Euryale," Mortal said, nuzzling Euryale's neck, tracing kisses up her shoulder to her jaw. "If you like things more depending on how I feel, then you should love everything about yourself, because I love everything."

Mimiru teleports to the Black Chocobo to attack with Pummel. Azuma closes the gap between himself and the Red Chocobo and attacks.

*Cassandra charges the Archer, swinging and using Weapon Break. If she can move, Safian runs out of the way while continuing to charge Bolt3 on the Monk*

~Eagrose~

*That awkward moment where the Knight who's guarding the Archer steps forward & stabs at Cassandra. The Archer also fires upwards, causing an arrow to sink into her shoulder. The Monk pursues Safian. Meanwhile, the other Lionsguard Knights can be seen sneaking along the wall of the castle. One is heading for the pile of weapons, the other is smearing oil from a small barrel on some of the tents.*

~Finath River~

*Once again, Mimiru attempts to teleport to something way too far away, and once again, she fails. The Red Chocobo counterattacks Azuma, critically wounding him. The Black Chocobo then attacks him with Choco Balls, killing him. The Mincing Minuet then strikes, & the Red Chocobo's cumulative injuries cause it to go critical. It runs downhill. Aroma cures herself again, & begins returning to the bank.*

*When Mortal gets close enough, Euryale plants one right on her lips.*

"If it makes you happy, then I do love it. Have I said you're beautiful too? I feel like I don't say that often enough."

"How adorable," Sab said, putting the boots in. She paid the man for the basket, and continued to another stall to see what they might have for sale.

Zac shrugged, "I'll compose a letter, and ask for an audience. Will you be free for lunch, today? Unless things have changed, that is usually the time they set aside for themselves to have company."

"You've told me once or twice," Mortal said, smiling. She then returned the kiss. "Would you like to go somewhere more private?" Mortal asked, still smiling.

Mimiru teleports as close as she can to Azuma's corpse, attacking the Red Chocobo with Wave Fist.

*Safian continues charging her spell on the Monk, while Cassandra parries before slashing at the knight*

~Finath River~

*You don't teleport "as close as you can," you try to teleport to an area, & it either works or it doesn't. Less likely to work if it's outside of movement range. As it so happens, Mimiru manages to teleport next to his body. The Red Chocobo, however, is much too far away to hit. As the Black Chocobo has not been disabled yet, it pelts Mimiru with Choco Balls. Aroma approaches, whispering a spell under her breath. The Wild Boar, which has been inactive up until now, begins to trot up the mountain.*

*The monk is struck with a torrent of fire, critically wounding him. He attacks with an Aurablast, in kind. Cassandra successfully slaps the Knight's blade away, but he blocks with his shield, & the Archer shoots at her again. The other Knights turn as they hear the Lionsguard Knight hacking away at their weapon pile. The other hacks embers out of the bond fire, causing them to catch on the tents & set them alight.*

Knight<I should expect this depravity from the Lionsguard, but why are you all the way out here?!>

Lionsguard<Indeed you should. Unceremonious death ought be the fate of all traitors to the Crown.>

*The next sells minor jewelry.*

*Safian runs the fuck out of the way, then starts charging Ice3 on the monk. Cassandra slashes at the knight's head*

Mortal giggled at the phrase and began to make her way over to the bedroom, arm around Euryale. As she was walking down the hall she collided into Dawn who suddenly rounded the corner. The impact was so strong Mortal had to take a step back, and Dawn fell completely backwards, falling on her ass, and banging the back of her head against the wall. The sudden bang left Dawn's eyes rolling back in her head, and she tried to stumble to her feet before falling face first back to the ground.

Mortal promptly freaked out, "Dear lord, I think I killed her!" She bent down to check on her and saw a steady trickle of blood coming down her neck.

"Don't say that," Zac said, chuckling, "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear. Anyway, I'll send word before lunch."

Sab looks around at the selection for something interesting. Noct is having a hard time faking interest in the shitty jewelry though.

Mimiru uses Revive on Azuma.

*Euryale bites back a sarcastic reply of, "Oh no, what a nightmare." She gets down to check Dawn's pulse.*

*Depends on what she considers interesting. It's mostly bronze work, with a few silver items, or gemstone-only items, such as a pear necklace. The gemstones aren't necessarily of the best quality, for instance, the pearls are slightly cloudy & off-white.*

*While that's charging, the Monk attacks with a Shockwave. The distracted Knight takes a nasty blow to the head that leaves him critically wounded. He turns around to stab her back. The other Knights do not come to his defense, choosing instead to confront the other Lionsguard. The one destroying the weapons is forced to stop to parry an attack.*

~Finath River~

*Azuma gets up in time to see an angry Red Chocobo staring him down. Fortunately, a spontaneous wound from Mincing Minuet kills it before it can do anything to him. An orb of superheated gas explodes around the Black Chocobo, critically wounding it. It flies down the hill.*

The two begin to pursue it.

*Safian continues to charge it, moving out of the way if she can. Cassandra whirls around to parry, then slashes again*

Dawn's pulse is weak.

"Is she alright?" Mortal asked, kind of freaked out to see that she was also bleeding from her nose.

"Do you think Euryale would like this?" Sab asked, picking up a bronze necklace.

"How should I know?" Noct asked, "I've never even seen her wear jewelry."

"I know, but I'm not sure if that is choice, or if she just doesn't have any," Sab said.

"Indeed," Zac said, "The park can kind of wear itself out though. You hear one whiny guy with a harp, you've heard them all."

~Lesalia~

*The man that they pass glares at Zac, then twangs a few strings.*

<Someooone is just maaaad that they have no taleeeent.>

*He enters into an increasingly extravagant harp solo.*

*Euryale flexes her fingers, pumping Dawn full of healing Chakra.*

*Safian manages to kill the Monk. For some reason, Cassandra did a fucking pirouette to block that strike, which may have had something to do with why it failed. In addition to being slashed with a sword, she's also shot with an arrow. She does manage to critically wound the Knight, however. He & the Archer begin to back away, while the other Knights are getting in a sword fight. Only half of the weapons have been destroyed, & only half of the encampment is on fire.*

*Safian charges Fire on the knight, while Cassandra drank a high potion*

Zac laughed out loud, "I walked into that one, huh?"

Dawn woke from her stupor a bit groggily, and looked up at Mortal and Euryale. "My head hurts," She said, trying to stand up.

Mortal gave her a helping hand, "Yes, I'm sorry, that was my fault."

"What happened?"

"We bumped into each other."

"And who are you?"

"She isn't exactly a noble woman..." Sab said, "Maybe she just never thought to get some."
