*The Dragon pursues, breathing fire over her. The Chocobo heals itself with Choco Cure. The Mindflayers are still beating the crap out of Azuma when the spell goes off and misses due to his crappy faith.*

*Lilith nods & follows.*

"Thank you all. I don't know what to say."

They arrive at a large white wooden door which Zac knocks on before it opens up to reveal Divum. "Father," Zac said awkwardly, "I'd like to introduce the Marquis of Limberry, Lilith Psyche."

Divum bowed to Lilith, and beckoned them to come in, not saying anything to Zac. He motioned for Lilith to take one of the only two chairs in the room, while he stood next to his own chair, waiting for Lilith to sit before he did, "I am honored to make your acquaintance, Marquis, though confused as to why you want to meet with me, as well as what you have to do with my son."

"Lilith and I are together, and she wanted to meet my family," Zac explained.

"Don't make such crass jokes," Divum retorted.

"There is nothing to say," Sab said, "I'm already glad I got it for you. It is so pretty on you."

"Group hug?" Mortal asked, spreading her arms.

Taiyo recasts the spell. Mimiru takes another three steps and uses Chakra on herself.

*Group hug.*

"Uh, it's actually true. I was promoted to Marquis recently, after the death of Messam Elmdore. I came to the city as part of Princess Ovelia's royal entourage, but am currently off-duty."

~Grogh Heights~

*The dragon keeps doing what it's doing. The Chocobo also comes up to attack again. Even though his player is being a derp, Azuma is still attacking left & right, because of Berserk. Thus, the Mindflayers have reaped what they've sewn, & are now in critical condition. The Ahriman leaps up & buffets Taiyo with its wings, scratching her with its claws, before Aroma begins reciting a spell. Taiyo's spell fails again.*

Doom: 1

Mimiru walks three steps to the left and uses Chakra. Taiyo recasts Esuna.

"Should we start getting ready for lunch?" Sab asked from inside the hug.

Zac felt himself smile a bit smugly when he saw the shock in his father's expression, but quickly wiped the look from his face.

"I had no idea, I meant you no disrespect, Marquis," Divum said, becoming aware that no one had taken a seat. "Well, I can try to explain where Zac has come from, but for better or worse, I know not the man he is today. I cannot tell you if he is a good choice for you, but I'm sure you're wise enough to know for yourself."

Zac felt insulted, "Can we find mother, and eat."

"Your mother has come ill, and will not be joining us," Divum said.

Zac rolled his eyes, not believing him, and thinking that Dawn had feigned illness so that she might not have to deal with him, or Lilith.

Safian:<What would you like us to do?>

~Lesalia~

"That's a shame. I was...interested in meeting her."

*She stands up to leave or just heads for the door if she's already standing.*

"You mean order food? Sure."

*They presumably break off & head into the dining room.*

*The knights start to gather together & head out.*

*The Mindflayers back off, & start heading for Taiyo. The Esuna finally manages to work, healing Azuma of all status effects. The Blue Dragon breathes ice over Mimiru one last time before dying, & the Chocobo pecks at her from behind. The Ahriman is toasted by a series of Holy orbs that erupt from under it.*

~3,3~

Mimiru goes around behind the Chocobo, attacking it with Pummel.

Azuma goes after the Mindflayers, Taiyo begins to move to get behind a Mindflayer.

The two parties meet just outside the dining room. Seeing Lilith, Sab curtsies, "Hello again, and to you as well Zac."

Zac waved, and chuckled inwardly that meeting his family included meeting four lesbians. "Hello everyone. We're here to join in on lunch, if you don't mind."

"Well, this is your house too, I guess," Mortal said with a shrug.

"Perhaps once," He shrugged too, "Well, lets get in there." With that he opened the door for everyone to file into the dining room.

~Lesalia~

*Euryale, of course, sits next to Mortal. Lilith sits across from her, staring at her with a look of extreme lack of amusement.*

E"Is...something wrong?"

*She looks away, speaking out of the corner of her mouth.*

L"Nothing. You look great."

E"Oh, thank you."

L"Sure. Whatever."

~Grogh Heights~

*It turns to attack her, like a boss. The other Mindflayer also attacks her, before turning & raising its tentacles to defend against Azuma. Critically wounded, the Chocobo retreats & uses Choco Cure on itself.*

Mimiru follows her three steps and attacks with Wave Fist.

Azuma steps beside the Mindflayer and attacks. Taiyo jabs the Mindflayer with her lance.

And so starts the most awkward lunch ever.

Zac sits next to Lilith, across from Mortal. "You look beautiful as well," Zac pointed out, fearing Lilith might be a bit envious, though she really couldn't blame her.

"Indeed, you do," Noct added, sitting next to Mortal.

Sab sat next to Zac, across from Noctis, and Divum sat at the head of the table, Lilith, and Euryale closest to him for some odd reason.

~Lesalia~

*When the food gets there, Lilith eats quietly. She is having a Coeurl steak, and pees. Euryale is enjoying chicken and noodles.*

~Grogh Heights~

*The Mindflayer is visibly shocked at Taiyo pulling out a freaking spear & skewering it. It hangs limply off of her spear as whatever fluids make it up drip down the shaft. Azuma's Mindflayer falls to pieces. Literally. Mimiru's Aurablast also kills her Chocobo adversary.*

The battle is won:

Taiyo shrieks, yanking the lance out of the Mindflayer and shakes its insides off of it.

Taiyo: "Ew, ew, ew!"

Mimiru covers her mouth to hide her laughter while Azuma backs up not wanting to get hit with a lance.

Azuma: "I'm sure it'll wash off."

*Safian shrugs and they return to where the weapons were being destroyed*

~Eagrose~

*The pile is now strewn across the encampment in shambles. The tents are now little more than chunks of charred sticks & clothes, the fires dwindling out. The Lionsguard all meet up, wordlessly get on their Chocobos, & ride off towards the plains.*

*Aroma strides past.*

<The good news is that Lesalia is just to the south. So barring unforeseen trouble in the city, your job appears to be almost over.>

*They follow*

"So," Noct said looking up from a plate of noodles, "When did you two meet?"

"A few years ago in Dorter, actually," Zac answered as he thought back.

Azuma: "Sounds like there's bad news."

~Lesalia~

E"Funny, we all met a few years ago in Dorter. Lilith just went a separate way from all of us. She said she had a mission to attend to. So, how did that go?"

L"It certainly...went. The former Marquis and the Superior Confessors all sort of died before I could finish it. How did your religious pilgrimage go?"

E"About the same luck, I guess...I no longer believe in the Glabados Church."

~The Merchant City of Dorter~

*They pass through the plains without incident. The Lionsguard quickly pick up Darlavon & head back to Eagrose.*

<The bad news is that I had to suffer through your "protection.">

*She slips an arm around Taiyo. She makes sure to stand on a level higher from Taiyo to make up for the difference in height.*

<That said, I wouldn't mind it if you accompanied me in the city, Sweetie.>

*And thus, they walk all the way back*

Cassandra:<We should head back to Garland soon.>

Safian:<I know.>

Mortal chuckled a bit, "I suppose my plans went pretty well."

Azuma: "You're still in one piece, stop complaining."

Taiyo is quite shocked to have met someone like herself, especially who's apart of the church no less.

Taiyo: "What?"

~Mandalia Plain~

*They are ambushed in Mandalia, surrounded by a Chocobo at their backs, & a pair of Red Panthers to their front. There are rocks to either side of them, but they don't look completely impassable.*
