L"I couldn't say. It's too silly."

E"Come on, tell us!"

*Lilith sighs.*

L"When I was a little girl, I used to look up to dancers and wish that I could be like them some day. They were always so pretty, and they had nice clothes. There was something mesmerizing about the way they moved, and they were overall comfortable with themselves."

E"Awwww."

*Lilith blushes, & looks down.*

L"Plus, I'd...really like...to be able to fly...."

~Finath~

*Critically wounded, the Chocobo runs away to heal himself. The Black Chocobo attacks with Choco Ball, once again critically wounding Azuma.*

*Safian casts Cure on Cassandra, who turns around again and slashes*

Mortal 'aww'd when Euryale did.

Noct nodded, having felt the same way when she was young, though her sexual orientation added a few extra feelings to the list, "That reminds me of myself, actually. A bit different, obviously, but I know what you mean. Oh, and flying is really fun."

~Mandalia~

*The slash is undone when she heals the Hydra. It slips behind Cassandra & attacks again.*

E"So why did you decide to become a Samurai, instead?"

L"No offense, but have you seen the kinds of jobs that Dancers tend to get when they don't come from crazy rich families?"

*Cassandra turns and counters again, then does the slashing thing again*

"Waitresses, bar wenches, strippers and whores?" Noct asked, "Yeah, we get a pretty bad reputation..."

"But aren't you from a crazy rich family?" Sab asked.

~Lesalia~

*Euryale frowns.*

E"Aren't Dancers ever just hired for entertainment? Dancing in plays, or something?"

L"Yes, but that's not necessarily better."

*She turns to Sab, finally realizing that she's talking to her.*

L"No, I'm not sure why you think that. I purchased my katanas with the funds I obtained from battles."

~Mandalia~

*She does not seem to realize that this "turn & counter" thing isn't working. Literally at all. She is once again critically wounded, & the Hydra slashes to finish the job.*

*Cassandra drinks a high potion before running a safe distance. Safain charges Ice again*

Mimiru uses Chakra again and Azuma downs a Hi-Potion.

The two then move in on the Black Chocobo.

~Finath~

*The other Chocobo continues healing itself. Not stupid, the Black Chocobo pelts Azuma with Choco Balls, then flies further away.*

~Mandalia~

*Critically wounded from the recent ice spell, the Tiamat nonetheless takes to the air. Though Cassandra is faster, its flight allows it to easily overtake her, & it bites into her from behind.*

Mimiru uses Chakra on themselves and follows the Black Chocobo.

Azuma moves putting his back to the water.

*Cassandra slashes at its neck, then runs away again. Safian runs forward at starts charging Ice again*

"But, you're the Marquis, and you lived at the castle all your life, right?" Sab said, "I... aristocracy confuses me..."

~Lesalia~

L"As I said before, my mother is a healer. She basically served as a live-in doctor. Obviously, I'm rich now, because I've inherited all of the assets that relate to the Marquis de Limberry, but it wasn't always like that. Take no offense at this, but there is a difference between being rich, and merely not being impoverished."

*Amazingly, these attacks don't put it down. As Safian had to come closer to it to use the spell, & is now out of MP, it leaves the critically wounded Cassandra alone & flies towards the mage.*

~Finath~

*The Black Chocobo is briefly confused at the fact that Azuma is side-strafing up the river, but nonetheless Choco Balls him & flies further back. The Chocobo, meanwhile, heals himself & begins approaching again.*

*Safian runs away, while Cassandra drinks another high potion, then runs after the monster, slashing*

Azuma stays put by the river, using a Hi Potion. Mimiru pursue the Black Chocobo, lining herself up with it and attacking with Shockwave.

"I spent most of my life as a member of the clergy, then I came to become part of this family. I've not spent much of my life being impoverished," Sab said, "So, no offense taken."

~Finath~

*Once again, Shockwave does not travel up hills. Since Azuma is not close enough to attack, the Black Chocobo hits her with Choco Balls, instead. The Chocobo is quickly gaining on Azuma.*

*This is finally enough to put the Hydra down. It slumps to the ground with a thud that throws Cassandra off-balance & closes its eyes weakly.*

~Lesalia~

E"Hmm...Noct, can I come to the dance lessons, too?"

"Of course you can," Noct said, "We can have it after lunch if you don't have anything to do, Lilith."

Azuma makes his way to the approaching Chocobo.

Mimiru continues going towards the Black Chocobo, attacking with Aurablast.

~Finath~

*Having finally DONE SOMETHING, Mimiru manages to hurt the Black Chocobo. It lashes out with Choco Balls, then flies further uphill. Meanwhile, the Chocobo in the water attempts to slip behind Azuma.*

L"I am free."

E"Yeah, I figure we should learn as much as possible before the engagement party."

L"Now you're thinking like a noblewoman."

E"Thank you."

*She frowns as Lilith takes a drink.*

E"Errr...that is a good thing, isn't it?"

L"Once in a while, perhaps."

Azuma turns to face the Chocobo, moving in its direction along the shore.

Mimiru continues the pursuit, attacking with Aurablast.

Zac, who had been a bit distant from the conversation, was snapped to attention at 'engagement party'. It took him a second to remember Delita.

"There can be a dancer in one half of every relationship here," Mortal said.

"Obviously the better halves," Noct said.

"Hey!" Mortal, Zac, and Sab in unison.

*Cassandra slashes at it one more time, just to make sure, before heading over to Safian*

Cassandra:<I was so right.>

Safian:<Whatever.>

*Cassandra uses a high ether on Safian*

E"Couldn't the rest of you learn how to dance, too? Well, except Zac, I guess. Men can't dance."
