The Zodiac Brave Story

Noct goes back and tries to go over some of the steps Euryale is having trouble with.

*They head off the nearest inn*

Tavernmaster<What can I do for you?>

L"We should probably head back to the inn. We'll undoubtedly need to make preparations for the engagement party."

Cassandra:<Can we rent a room, please?>

Zac nodded then stood up, "You're probably right." He went over to Noct and gave her a hug, "It was nice seeing you again."

"You too," Noct said, "But we should be seeing eachother soon again."

Zac nodded, then waved at the other three girls, "It was nice meeting you, Mortal and Euryale, and good to see you again, Sab."

E"You too. But, uh, before you go...is it true that you can stop swords with your bare hands?"

Safian:<Awesome. How much do we own you?>

Zac looks a bit confused, then smiled, "Oh, you mean Lilith."

"Lilith can stop swords with her hands?" Mortal asked.

<It's on the house.>

L"Uh, yes. It's a reaction ability called 'Shirahadori.' Probably the single most important Samurai skill."

E"Can I see it? I mean, if it isn't too dangerous...."

L"You want to see one of my moves? Really? Well...I guess it should be okay, if I know it's coming."

Mortal looks around for a second before realizing she is the only one proficient with a blade, "I suppose I can help you give the demonstration."

Zac let out a sigh, thankful it wasn't on him to swing a sword at Lilith.

Safian:<Sweet, thanks! Which room?>

Taiyo: "Oh. Um...okay then. I guess that means we have to go somewhere else?"

<I'm afraid I won't be able to stay for very long.>

<Damn, just go to the door number that's on the key.>

*Lilith tenses up & holds her arm slightly out to her side.*

"Alright, I'm ready when you are."

Safian:<Can we have the key?>

Mortal came back from her room with a sword, since she wasn't a weirdo like Lilith. "Alright, uh, 3... 2... 1..." Mortal made a show of raising her blade, then swung down at Lilith.

~Lesalia~

*He points to where the key is sitting on the counter, looking agitated.*

*Lilith, of course, jerks her hand upwards like lightning & catches the blade in her palm, without so much as a scratch. Euryale jumps a bit.*

E"Wow, that was so cool!"

Mortal lifts the blade, and checks the palm, "Yea, wow, amazing."

Taiyo: "Oh, okay. I can make do with what I have then. So what else brings you here?"

*Safian grabs the key, and heads up to the room number on the key. Cassandra follows*

~Lesalia~

L"Uh, thanks."

*Lilith scratches the back of her head.*

L"The trick is plenty of timing, courage, and luck."

Safian:<I call bed!>

Cassandra:<Whatever.>

*Safian falls asleep on the bed, while Cassandra puts some blankets down at goes to sleep on the floor*

Taiyo: "All right. So what do you want to do for the time beimg?"

<I thought we could just talk, about things.>

*She bows to Mortal, then Noctis, & finally Euryale.*

L"Thank you for everything. Especially you, Noctis. I learned a lot today. And it was great to see you again. I always enjoy meeting someone who shows enthusiasm for my trade."

E"Well, you know me. If it can be used to hit monsters with, I'm your girl. Promise you won't be a stranger, now."

L"I promise."

Taiyo: "All right. I didn't do anything except have a nap after we last saw each other."
