*With some hesitation, she nods to the others.*

OOC: Just realized that they're can't be any 'couples first dance' at a wedding if the guy can't dance.

"Well... you're not cutting into anything now, so try not to," Noct said. She looked back at Euryale to see how she was coming along.

Azuma: "Nice to see you, too...Taiyo's new friend."

Azuma stands up from leaning against a wall.

Azuma: "Well before this gets any weirder, how about we take a walk and see if this city isn't too terrible to stay in for a few days. Later, Taiyo."

Mimiru: "Not likely. See you, Taiyo."

Taiyo: "Bye?"

The two leave.

Safian:<10,000 gil!? Seriously.>

*Cassandra glares at Safian, before turning back to the clerk*

Cassandra:<I suppose we have no choice. We'll take two pairs.>

*Aroma looks at the door as they leave.*

Learning to dance is a slow process, so Noct just pats Euryale on the shoulder and says, "Remember, try to dance to the beat, don't react to it."

E"Uh, sorry."

L"I don't mean to be a bother, but could you show me some more steps?"

Cassandra:<Two pairs gloves, please.>

"Certainly," Noct said, "I just wanted you two to learn at the same time to make it easy for me." Noct shrugged, "Guess I should quit being lazy." She walks over to Lilith and does the lead in step before stopping, "The next step is called the 'Z' formation."

"I like this dance already," Zac said.

"You're easy to please," Noct said, "Uh, no offense, Lilith." She then continued, "The Z formation is aptly named, and pretty easy. Watch." Noct stepped to the side, then backwards diagonally, then back to the other side, creating a small Z on the ground.

Taiyo: "It was?"

Azuma: "It looks worse than ever."

The two begin walking, heading nowhere in particular.

*They approach the park, noticing that the gates & trees have been decorated with white streamers.*

*Lilith quickly imitates this step.*

"So, now what?"

Taiyo: "I guess I've just been with them long enough that it seems normal."

Azuma: "So gawdy."

Mimiru: "Are you going to commentate on everything?"

Azuma: "Not everything."

Noct went about explaining the right hand turn, left hand turn, and two hand turns, which were all the same step, dancing sideways, diagonally across the floor, with a spin between steps with differing hands.

Cassandra:<Alright. What's our total?>

*She looks over at the table.*

<Oh, I see you got my gifts. That's good.>

*Lilith begins practicing these moves.*

L"You ever feel like you're stalling for someone who's easily distracted by irrelevant nonsense?"

Taiyo: "Yeah. I just um...haven't used them yet."

*Cassandra nods and pays him*

<Oh, well, that's no matter. I'm just told that these rooms don't have access to much in the way of bathing.>

*He starts digging out all of the junk they ordered.*

<Will there be anything else?>

Cassandra:<Nope, that will be all thank you.>

*They put on their newly purchased junk, then continue on their way*

Taiyo: "Oh. I'm sure what's available will work, right?"

*She picks up one of the bottles & jiggles it a little.*

<Well, I imagine these will help. I couldn't imagine taking a bath without warm, running water, though.>

*After they've walked a ways, they realize that the coats are fairly thin & covered with dust, one of the mittens has a hole in it, & the snow shoes are not as nice as the chocobos', being broken in a few spots.*

*They shrug and continue on, as it's better than nothing*

Safian:<Can I....?>

Cassandra:<No.>

"Yes," Noctis said, "Anyway, now that you know all the steps, now you must link them together. Noct dances it out, then explains, "The order goes Lead in, Z formation, right hand turn, z formation, left hand turn, z formation, two hand turn. To end simply take a step back. And there we have a Mincing Minuet."

Zac feels a slight pain.

*Lilith practices this routine. Euryale tries a few steps, but then looks lost & confused.*
