Lekismon:<Someone was going to do it eventually!>

E"DO. WHAT?"

*Lekismon facepalms*

<I forgot you guys are blind down here. Basically, there's a bunch of buttons on the walls, and a big screen too. I pressed one of the buttons but nothing happened.>

Azuma: "And we all learned a valuable lesson. You thought we could see in pitch black."

Hitomi stares at the wall with all the weirdo carvings or whatever.

*That would be all of them. In the mouth of the blue serpent is a blue orb with lines coming off of it, & a bunch of stick figures holding their arm out to it. Near this scene is a series of increasingly large red birds, the last one silhouetted in an orange orb that is presumably the sun. The birds appear to be rising out of a bunch of jagged peaks with gold asterisk things all over them. Below this is a bunch of charcoal smeared on the cave surface, a red Mark of Evil partly obscured by it.*

E"Well, how do we tell if the power is even on?"

A<Why don't you plug your D-Power in somewhere?>

E"That...actually might work."

Azuma flicks his lighter, lighting it.

Azuma: "If we could see where to plug it."

Taiyo: "What is all of this? Some kind of weird story?"

*Lekismon walks down to the monitor, looking for a place to plug in the D-Power*

Cameron:<Looks like it. Maybe it's the story of the digital world.>

*They are staring at a wall.*

*They eventually find a place to plug it in & a light on the D-Power starts blinking.*

A<What does that mean?>

E"It means that it recognizes the port, but there's no power coming through."

Cameron:<We better keep moving.>

*He and Saberdramon start to move on*

Lekismon:<Well, this looks like where we can plug a D-Power in. Maybe one of these buttons turn the power on.>

*They soon realize that it's not a very large cave. It's also starting to get darker, as the lighter data seeps into the rocks, & the denser data drifts towards the exit.*

E"I'm going to go out on a limb & say no. Those gears were also some kind of machine, but they're all inactive. The power must be out everywhere. And given how old this place is, it's likely that there just isn't any left."

Taiyo: "Anyone have a light?"

Renamon walks at the front of the group with Taiyo and Hitomi who's back to carrying Salamon behind her.

Azuma: "Well, coming here yielded nothing."

*Saberdramon reverts to Biyomon, who then uses Double fire to light their way*

Kylie:<So, what do we do? Go back and tell the others what we found?>

*The cave is like maybe 10 feet deep, but okay. Hopefully they recall that it is in the face of a cliff before Taiyo & Cameron plummet to their deaths. Provided this is true, & they look down, there are more Gotsumon below, scaling the walls, some with Digi-Eggs or Pagumon strapped to their backs. When they see the group emerge from the cave, there is a great clamor as they let go & fall into the ocean below.*

"If the power is absent, it can be replaced. Think carefully, now."

*Biyomon waves his arms and yells*

<Wait, stop! We need to talk to you.>

*Kylie stares down at the floor, thinking hard*

Lekismon:<It's possible, but I'm really not sure how.>

Renamon being at the head of the group would have said to stop upon reaching the cliff.

Taiyo: "I think it's a little late for that..."

Azuma: "You want us to find a fusebox or something?"

"There is probably some kind of device to receive power, if we have a Digimon that can generate electricity."

*The Gotsumon are presently trying to swim to safety. Being made of rock, most of them are drowning. The Pagumon are having a little more success, windmilling with their ears, but a Parrotmon swoops by, devouring one whole, & flying back up to the mountains.*

*Biyomon digivolves to Saberdramon, and drives down to save as many Gotsumon as he can*

Kylie:<I don't think we do....>

*Lekismon looks around for such a device*

Taiyo swipes the Arrow Wing card and Renamon dives off the cliff, intending to grab Pagumon.

Azuma: "Don't even have a card for a similar purpose either."

*They frantically try to swim away from the horrifying flying fox. The Gotsumon fling poorly aimed rock fists at her as they drown.*

*There is an antenna in the corner that leads to some kind of box with wires coming out that head to the computer, & into various walls.*

"Well...what about Wizardmon?"

Kylie:<Right! Should we go get Thiera?>

*Saberdramon tries to grab at least one with his claws*

Renamon growls, attempting to block any nearby attacks while grabbing at Pagumon.

Taiyo: "They're trying to help!"

Azuma: "If you want to bother her, go ahead."

"Well, I think it's a good idea."

*Pagumon can't hear Taiyo from way up there, & is far too frenzied in a fight for its life anyway. So it bites Renamon's hand. The Pagumon that Saberdramon rescue just kind of whimper helplessly.*

Renamon growls and lifts the Pagumon up and returns to the top of the cliff.

Azuma: "No one said it wasn't?"

*Saberdramon also flies back up to the cliff*

Azuma: "I imagine she's not my biggest fan. What with the whole crippling her partner and all."
