Old Ones Return (II)

Lekismon:<I could take it then, since I can see in the dark.>

E"Is either area large enough for Greymon to move around in?"

Azuma: "Didn't go down. Seemed like a group thing to do."

Taiyo: We didn't go in."

E"...Well, what about the OPENINGS?"

Azuma: "I guess."

Taiyo cringes a bit at being barked at.

Taiyo: "Not really?"

Lekismon:<Should we tell Thiera what's going on?>

E"Alright, there we go. So I guess I'll take the stairs."

*She rubs her hands together, then quickly grabs hold of Greymon again when she starts to fall.*

E"Whew...nah, she doesn't want us to bother her, and we don't have anything for her to do anyway."

Lekismon:<Alright, if you're sure.>

Kylie:<We'll come as well.>

Azuma: "Angemon and I are the ones who know the way to the stairs unless they're in plain view from here, someone else should go to the caves with Taiyo and presumably Hitomi."

Cameron:<I'll go with them.>

E"So is that settled?"

Taiyo: "I guess..."

Angemon begins to lead them to the staircase while Kyubimon leads Cameron to the caves.

*Saberdramon follows Kyubimon while Lekismon follows Angemon*

*The caves are rather small. Some of the largest ones, Kyubimon & Saberdramon MIGHT be able to squeeze into. Saberdramon if it tucks its wings in & walks.*

E"Wow, this really is just a big hole in the ground with some stairs, isn't it? So. How about Greymon & I go down first, with Lekismon?"

Lekismon:<Right.>

Kylie:<I'm coming too!>

Lekismon:<I wouldn't leave you here, don't worry.>

*Saberdramon drops Cameron and does just that*

Azuma: "It is pretty impressive, isn't it?"

While they take the lead, Azuma and Angemon follow behind them.

When inside, Kyubimon reverts back to Renamon so as to be able to move about easier.

*Saberdramon hobbles along behind Renamon in the stupid way that birds do. Renamon sees what looks like paintings on the wall in dull, primary colors. An Agumon shooting fire...a large bird...a long, blue serpent that covers most of the wall...when she looks at its tail, she catches a glimpse of a dozen Gotsumon emerging from behind the rocks, hurling rock fists at them.*

*When they get to the bottom, Lekismon can see many more gears & pipes extending down a tunnel. At the end is a screen & a bunch of buttons built into the wall.*

Azuma: "This is neat. I bet it'd be better if we could all see."

Renamon stands in front of Taiyo and Hitomi, shielding them from the attacks and counters with Diamond Storm.

*Saberdramon flaps his wings and uses Night roar on the gotsumon*

Lekismon:<We should at least see what they do.>

E"What what do?"

*The Gotsumon are blown back against the wall, several of the rocks on their bodies destroyed, gridlines exposed.*

Azuma: "Whatever's in here, I guess. What is in here?"

Taiyo: "Renamon, are you okay?"

Renamon: "I'm fine."

Salamon hops out of Hitomi's arms and stands beside Renamon. The two attack with Diamond Storm and Puppy Howling respectively.

*Saberdramon uses Night Roar again*

Lekismon:<We could see if we can get the monitor to work.>

*The Gotsumon are all obliterated, their sparkling clusters of multicolored data illuminating the cave.*

*Lekismon presses the closest button to her*
