The New Zodiac Braves

Taiyo closes the door behind her. A few minutes later she comes out in her new outfit, bangles dangling from her wrists.

*Even though Cassandra's parents try and stop them, Safian and Cassandra charge up the steps and enter the palace*

Cassandra's father:<Wait!>

"Ouch," Zac said, "Would you prefer I shop around? I just haven't really had a need to dress up in forever. I've been on the move for years now."

"Lets get ready then," Mortal said.

"Well, don't you look lovely?"

*Aroma hugs Taiyo.*

"Smell lovely, too."

*She only adds the 2nd part if Taiyo used the bath soaps at some point. Otherwise, she skips to the next line.*

"Shall we be going, then?"

*And so Euryale heads to their room to change into her dress & necklace.*

*The foyer is an expansive chamber with white floors & a red carpet. The carpet moves up either curved staircase at opposing ends of the chamber. The walls are gold-hued, carved with ornate pillars & twisting vines. From the ceiling hands a large diamond chandelier, set with candles, which refract rainbows over the room. As mentioned previously, there really aren't many people here yet. In this case, the exception is the servant bards & dancers, in crisp black clothing. In the Dancers' case, they wear long concealing dresses with loose sleeves, rather than the usual choli.*

Safian:<Oh, we're early.>

Cassandra's mother:<We were trying to stop you two.>

*Safian's already started up the stairs, followed by Cassandra*

"If you're certain," Zac said, "Well, I'll probably be getting a new wardrobe when we return to Limberry, regardless."

Sab changes into an off white dress with gold embellishments. Noct into a black gown with long black gloves. Mortal is wearing a red dress, with her hair tied back in a red ribbon.

Taiyo: "Thank you. I really like your necklace."

*One assumes that they have not met back up in the foyer yet. Euryale is a bit disappointed that Mortal isn't wearing the ribbon she got her, but figures it must not go with the dress. She looks Mortal up & down & gives her the thumbs up.*

"Nice look. I really like it."

Bard<We expect the bulk of the guests to be arriving near the end of the hour. Is there anything we can do for you in the meantime, sir and madams?>

Taiyo: "Oh?"

Taiyo puts a hand to her collar, stammering not sure what to say.

"Thanks," Mortal said, "You look great too."

Noctab soon joins the scene, chuckling amongst themselves as they walk in.

Cassandra's mother:<No, we are so sorry we arrived so early.>

*Euryale turns, not questioning why they apparently burst into Mortale's room without knocking, even though they knew that the pair was changing.*

"What's so funny?"

*The Bard looks confused.*

Bard<I am...sure it is of no consequence to the King & Queen, M'lady.>

*Safian and Cassandra start looking around the ballroom, while Cassandra's parents go to find someone to talk to*

OOC: I misread that earlier post and thought that they indeed met up at the foyer.

Sab and Noct seem a bit confused. "Oh, sorry, wrong door," Noct said.

"Oh, we were just laughing at some weird thing we noticed in the hall," Sab said, "It is hard to explain. It is probably why we were distracted and walked in here. Our apologies."

"Alright then," Zac said.

E"That makes total sense & I won't question it. So, ready to go?"

*And so they walk to the palace to find the same sight.*

"Certainly," Noct said.

"Should we head inside?" Zac asked.

*Cassandra and Safian head towards the doors to greet any new arrivals*

L"Sure."

*Cassandra & Safian see Lilith & Zac approaching.*

*Euryale, Noctis, Mortal, & Sab file towards the palace gates amidst a growing crowd.*

Cassandra:<Hello.>

Taiyo: "Yep!"

Taiyo follows Aroma as they're presumably leaving.

Downstairs Azuma and Mimiru are sitting at a table, eating breakfast.

Zac looks towards Lilith, "Friends of yours?"

"This place looks like it is going to be crowded," Noct said, a bit annoyed.

"Were you expecting different?" Sab asked, "It was open to everyone."

"I have no idea who they are."

*She returns a weak wave.*

*As they're walking to the thing, Aroma glances back.*

"So, are they going to be coming together?"

"Well, I'm really excited."

*Passing them, on the side Euryale is facing away from, is a woman in a white dress & sunhat, both with pink accents. She looks down to see Euryale barefoot & grimaces.*

Cassandra:<Oh, sorry for bothering you. We were just looking for someone to talk to since the party hasn't really started yet. I'm Cassandra Terros, by the way.>

*She hold out her hand. Safian hangs back*

<Safian Dorion.>

Taiyo: "I don't think they're going. Willingly at least."

Mortal stays her hand and doesn't backhand the bitch. Instead, she takes Euryale's hand and says, "I'm excited too. Lets try not to worry about the negatives, and just enjoy ourselves."

"Should be as simple as a walk in the park," Noct said.
