*Lilith, Siegfried, & Aroma arrive in the foyer, followed closely by Safian, Cassandra, & an octet of Northern Sky Knights.*

*Euryale wipes some sweat from her brow & keeps healing.*

Sab grabs a rag from the bathroom, and scurries back to hand it over to Euryale.

"Oh, joy, you two are unharmed," Zac said with a small smile. He then turned to the guardsmen, "I'm sure you've been informed as the what happened here, but I feel my father should be the one you defer to in this matter. Excuse me while I fetch the lord of the house."

Zac comes back a few minutes later with Divum in tow.

*Safian looks around*

<Did you catch that lady?>

Aroma<So...what happened here?>

*Euryale dabs blood off of Mortal's face.*

Mortal parrots Euryale, "Thank you."

Noct lets out a sigh, "Well, I think Euryale's got everything covered here. Lets go reunite with the others."

Sab nodded, then turned to Mortal and said, "Take care."

"The assassin Senthose tried to kill us all, but my children were able to turn the tables on him," Divum said, "His body lies there."

Safian:<And then some creep showed up.>

*They jump a bit when they see it. Sab & Co. show up to this nonsense.*

<How, uh...should we dispose of it, Sir?>

Siegfried<...You killed the Dragon-Man without me?>

*Up above, Euryale lifts up Mortal's shirt & looks inside.*

"Do you have any more injuries?"

"He was a Hydra, actually," Zac said, "If that makes you feel better."

Divum shook his head and shrugged, "Send it back to be burned or buried at his estate. I've certainly no use for it."

"Perhaps I do," Mortal said, "I'm not sure where exactly I was injured in the blast."

*They look confused*

Safian:<He turned into a hydra?>

Siegfried<...I've always wanted to slay a hydra....>

<I always said he was from Hell. I'm not going near him!>

<Don't be daft, he is mortal, and he is dead. Be silent and do your jobs.>

*While some of the knights head over to grab the corpse, the guy who's apparently captain turns back to Zac.*

<Yes, if you could clarify that matter for me....>

"I will report it directly to the King. He can decide whether or not you need to know."

"Well, I don't think I can keep pumping out energy. It's exhausting. Can you try to tell me if it still hurts anywhere?"

"Sorry, but I'm afraid the matter is quite sensitive," Zac said, "Only those who need to know should, at the moment."

Divum chuckled at Siegfried, "I'm sure you'll have a chance to slay a hydra some other time."

Mortal shook her head, "No, I think I should be fine. I think I can walk it off at this point anyway. Thank you for everything."

Safian:<So.....how did he turn into a hydra?>

"He ate his vegetables, and drank all his milk, like a good boy," Noct said.

"I... don't think anyone is willing to actually tell you," Sab said, "Please forgive Noctis' snark..."

"Or do not, I'm getting a bit annoyed with everyone constantly repeating that people can't come, or can't know. Either someone give information, or stop asking. It is beyond tiresome by this point."

Safian:<Yeah, I agree with her!>

*She points at Noct*

Cassandra:<You just want information.>

"I think you're missing the point, I know they won't tell, so the onus is on you to just stop asking," Noct said.

Safian:<You can't expect people to not ask questions.>

*Lilith ignores the annoying Black Mage, as she informs the Northern Sky Knights of the developments, & orders them to leave. The resentment between the 2 parties is palpable, but they nonetheless seal Senthose's body in a black sack, & take him away. She sighs.*

"I don't know if you've noticed, but this job isn't exactly easy even without you prying into it. You know what I can tell you? Senthose came here today to silence us, because we knew too much about his plans. Is that what you want? Assassins kicking over your table at breakfast time because you couldn't mind your own business?"

Siegfried<Lass has a mouth on her.>

"Excuse me for being a tad short on patience, seeing that this is but the 2nd of likely many more traps that I've found myself in when sprung."

"Lilith is right," Zac said, "It'd be one thing if this was idle conjecture, but this is not even the first time my day has been interrupted by a plan to kill me."

*Safian stares at the ground, a little embarrassed*

<Oh, I'm sorry about that. At least he's dead now.>

"He's not the only one. There is still Seraph, & their mysterious benefactor. I have no idea whether or not Vanessa was caught, but they will likely retain the rest of Senthose's mercenaries, regardless."

"I'm pretty sure you would have recovered from these injuries. Plus, you have a Chantage."

Safian:<Is Seraph he guy that was with Senthose during the ball?>

Cassandra:<Creepy mage guy.>

"What remains of Vanessa will need to be scraped off the side of the road," Noct said.

"Alright, so, this aside, are we still going to be making our way to Lionel?" Zac asked, "If so I suggest we leave promptly."

Mortal shrugged, "True enough, but complimenting a bottle of perfume is not nearly as satisfying at complimenting you, my hero."

*Euryale smiles sheepishly.*

"I'm...just glad you're alright."

"Hold. Let's not forget, this is Ivalice's capital. We need to ensure its safety before we leave. Which we could have used Vanessa's information for. Why didn't you capture her?"

"You'd have to ask Mortal, but from the looks of it, I think it was suicide on her part," Noct said, "Gotta admire her willingness to die for the cause, I suppose."

Mortal gets up and hugs Euryale, "I love you, Euryale." When hug time was over Mortal leans back and says, "We should meet up with the others."
