Zac followed after her, still unused to sister being plural, "Right, right. Let's get going."

Noct and Sab are both up and ready, eating breakfast.

*What they find is crime. They step into an alley & are surrounded by a thief on either side, with one on top of the building acting as lookout.*

Lookout<Right, we'll make this quick. Give us all of your Gil.>

*Lilith enters the door & heads for the kitchen, where everyone is eating breakfast.*

L"Good, you're almost ready. Hurry up, we need to get on the trail before we lose Senthose."

<Oh, I don't think you'll have to worry about that.>

*Lilith is quite literally stabbed in the back by an angry dragonman. Meanwhile, Vanessa attacks Zac from behind.*

Whatever is happening behind Zac most likely gets the better of him as he screams, "Lilith!" and unloads a barrage into the asshole who stabbed her.

Mortal chokes on her eggs as she stands and grabs her swords, unsheathing them and launching at Vanessa. Noct grabs Sab and brings her back a distance, before she realized what the situation was, and released her. She then went off into a Forbidden Dance. Meanwhile, Sab dropped the fork she was still clutching and cast Hasteja on Euryale.

The two conclude their shopping and head back to the tavern.

Taiyo: "You think Azuma is awake by now?"

Mimiru: "He better be. His dumb ass decided what we were doing."

*Safian charges Bolt on him as a response. Cassandra slashes at the thief to her left*

*A thief is struck by a lightning bolt, & chooses to respond by chucking a stone at her, which hits her so hard that she's knocked back into a wall. The thief at the other end of the alley dashes towards her. Meanwhile, the other thief returns the slash with a stab, & then stabs again.*

*He is knocked away & is thus unable to aim the Barrage. Vanessa then throws a Yagyu shuriken at him. Meanwhile, Lilith turns to face their attackers, using a Muramasa on the both of them. She then tries to back away, but Senthose is faster, striking her twice & critically wounding her. As he enters the room, anyone who catches sight of his face will notice that his irises are now red, the pupils vertical. Euryale steps forward, attacking Vanessa with a shockwave.*

Now in range, Mortal attacks with a double slash at Vanessa, "Why can't you just leave us alone?"

Sab hopefully casts that Hasteja about now.

Zac, takes a few steps to the side to give him a better shot at Senthose, then uses that Barrage.

Divum hears some commotion and leaves the bedside of a sleeping Dawn to go and see what all the hub bub is about.

*Cassandra jumps back, then slashes again. Safian casts Ice on the thief running towards her*

At the tavern, Azuma is indeed awake and standing at the counter talking to the tavernmaster.

Azuma: "Any word on any treasure. Preferably a sword."

The two go upstairs to the room to change into their new threads.

*Her jumping jacks do nothing to protect her, but she critically wounds the thief. He retreats, throwing a stone at her. By the time Blizzard is cast, the Thief has already stabbed Safian, so both of them are hit with ice shards. The 3rd thief then throws a stone at her, critically wounding her.*

*He arrives at the bannister in time to see a bunch of nonsense. Vanessa teleports behind Mortal before she can be attacked, & hurls another Yagyu into her back.*

Vanessa<This is the price to pay for the new Ivalice. Not that it's too expensive for me. You've destroyed dozens of us now, this is only fitting.>

*Senthose ignores his being shot & teleports behind Lilith, striking her down. The now-hastened Euryale runs towards him, but sees that he's wearing Gaia Gear, so she prays to a summon instead.*

Senthose<The new client's request is to seal off the building, kill everyone inside, & then collapse it, making it look like an accident. So, without further ado, bring in the cavalry!>

*A Red Dragon & a trio of large robots file through the door.*

Azuma: "Never heard of it. What can you tell me about it?"

"I'm going to kill you!" Zac said, shooting Senthose in the leg, "So don't you fucking go anywhere! Euryale, please help Lilith!"

Mortal turns around and double slashes at Vanessa again, "I'd say you're math was wrong, but you'd probably think I was remarking on your low birth, and hold it against me, and I'm getting really tired of your antics!"

"That was a lot longer than 'rude'..." Noctis said to herself, a bit shocked, but still dancing a Forbidden Dance.

Sab begins to charge a graviga on the dragon.

Divum is horrified by what he sees, but tries not to make a sound as he returns to his room, opening his window. He peeked out to see if there was something he could use to climb down, or something soft to land on, so he could go and warn the city guard.

*Safian darts away and casts Cure on herself. Cassandra ducks away from the rock and slashes again*

*Nope. Sheer drop. Senthose's voice echoes throughout the house.*

<You may as well stop hiding. Of course I took the time to destroy all escape routes. Besides, there's something you should see before I send you to Hell.>

"Don't take this the wrong way, but she'll be fine, she has a Chantage."

*Gun ports open up on all of the Constructs. Laser blasts are fired at Euryale, Noctis, & Mortal. Vanessa turns invisible from the attack.*

Vanessa<Of course you don't acknowledge killing my soldiers. You're never victimizer, only victim. I can't wait to slice out that vile tongue of yours.>

*Sab's & Euryale's spells finally activate. As a golem dances, spreading protective dust over the group, the Red Dragon is critically wounded by a crushing torrent of darkness. Senthose teleports, snaps his fingers, & a peculiar glow surrounds the Red Dragon, which charges all the way across the room & breathes lightning at Noctis.*

Senthose<I have to say, I'm not really impressed with these Dragon-enhancing powers. Though the ability to call an army of mindless reptiles to my side isn't so bad. Mayhap I'll see if it works on Mortal.>

*The Thief follows, stabbing at her. Safian kills the other one. The third doesn't like where this is going, so he runs away on the rooftop.*

<It's some sort of ruin in the Lionel Area. I've only heard word that the Baert Trading Company is excavating it for its many rare treasures & legendary weapons. Only they say that the company belongs to Gaffgarion now. It does sort of make sense that he'd be interested in powerful swords.>

*Safian charges Bolt on the retreating thief, while Cassandra slashes again*

Azuma: "Anything about the local wildlife I should know about? Mysterious place like that is bound to have all sorts of nasty things."

The two come down the stairs in their new threads. Taiyo had resolved for a leather halter top and shorts. She still wears the bangles Aroma had given her. The outfit is in hyperspace where a person's off hand items usually are.

Taiyo: "Ready?"

Azuma: "Just about."

Mortal is too busy being angry at Vanessa to even hear Senthose, "How many times must I say that you've brought this upon yourself?! You're blaming the fire you toyed with for burning you." Since the bitch was invisible she rushes down the dragon, and double slashes it from behind.

Noct flies away from the dragon to the other corner of the room, continuing her Forbidden Dance.

Zac let out a sigh of relief, having forgot that Lilith had a Chantage, "Right, I was just worried." He then leveled his pistol at the Construct that fired upon him, and used another Barrage.

Sab begins to charge a graviga on Senthose.

Divum isn't about to do that, so he worriedly shakes awake Dawn, "My love. Intruders are in the house, we must flee somehow, and alert the authorities."

Dawn wakes up and looks around, "Wonderful... How do we plan to get out? Jumping out the window?"

"No, I already looked, it is impossible," He replied, "Though, perhaps we can climb down if we make a rope of our sheets."

*Bullets pit the metal & it shoots back as it advances. Vanessa chuckles.*

Vanessa<"It's not our fault, you make us do this to you!" The eternal rhetoric of the nobility.>

*She hits Mortal with another shuriken as she kills the dragon.*

S"Keep attacking. If we kill them all at once, we can remove their perfumes."

*The other robots advance into the room & fire at Mortal, Noctis, & Euryale. Being immune to practically all status effects, they care not about Noct's fancy hip-waggling. Euryale falls back, invoking a new Esper.*

*Cassandra is presumably attacking a dead body as the other thief stabs & kills Safian before she can get her spell off.*

Azuma: "All right. Which way are we going through Lionel?"

"That! You! YOU'RE SO FUCKING RUDE! ARGH!" Mortal wheels around, and rushes down Vanessa, and double slashed at her.

Since the dragon is dead, Noct switches to a Polka.

Zac frowns as his bullets kind of bounce off, and turns his attention to Vanessa, putting four bullets in her.

*Cassandra uses a Phoenix Down on Safian, who then runs a far distance and cats Cure on herself*

*The Thief chases her, like a boss.*

*Vanessa coughs up some blood on Mortal, then staggers away to throw another Yagyu at her.*

Vanessa<Ah, yes...the nobility's "manners." Always funny...how arbitrary they are. You slaughter us when we're in your way, but when it's your head on the chopping block....>

*Euryale moves closer to Noct again. Suddenly, a Fairy appears in the sky in a flash of purple-red light, & scatters the sparkles over the both of them, causing most of their wounds to mend. The iron giants are still shaking the ground, steadily continuing their advance. One takes a swing at Mortal, the others open fire on Noct & Euryale again. Senthose holds out a hand & petrifies Zac.*

Azuma: "All right. We ready to go?"

Zac makes a fine statue, reminiscent of the early Hellenistic.

Noct flies away from the douchebag robots, still dancing.

Sab uses her spell, hopefully.

Mortal lets out another angered scream as she double slashes Vanessa again, "Shut up! I don't care anymore! Just shut up!"
