*The Graviga passes over Senthose with the only discernible effect being causing him to make jazz hands. Vanessa screams, & falls to the ground, no longer breathing. As soon as she falls, Lilith gets up, & uses a Murasame's healing rain to restore herself. Senthose teleports behind Mortal, who has taken so many hits that Golem is exhausted & she's bleeding a bit from the latest Shuriken, & slashes at her twice. Seeing that 2 of the robots are lined up with her, Euryale strikes out with a Shockwave, but it fails to destroy them. She is shot full of lasers by a trio of robots, & drops to a knee.*

Taiyo: "Oh...then I guess not."

Azuma: "Still worth a shot, if it's important enough."

Taiyo: "That's true."

Mortal let out another roar as Vanessa fell, and probably would have continued to attack if Senthose hadn't drawn her attention. She wheels on him and slashes at him with Rend Power.

Sab begins to charge a meteor on the Constructs, shuffling around a bit to scrounge up some more MP.

*Cassandra slashes at him again*

*Senthose teleports away, striking down Euryale. Lilith uses Kiku-Ichimuji to attack him & the 2 Constructs. Several pieces of metal begin to fall off of them, but they nonetheless advance & fire on Noctis. The remaining Construct lumbers after Mortal.*

Taiyo: "I'll uh...write it down."

*Safian heads back to Cassandra, then they head off in the same direction*

Cassandra:<So.>

Safian:<We are slightly horrible people.>

Cassandra:<Maybe.>

Mortal rushes to meet the Construct, and uses Lightning Breath.

Noct is not happy that these things keep shooting her.

*Taiyo is presented with some parchment & a quill.*

*They eventually arrive back in the good part of town. Explosions can be heard off in the distance.*

*A big ol' space rock drops on the Constructs, but they don't even seem to notice. They shift their attention away from Noctis, as Senthose teleports to attack her. Instead, they fire at Mortal, with the one she attacks punching at her. Lilith uses another Kiku-Ichimoji on the damaged ones & they fall apart. The dragon, which was killed near Sab, becomes a crystal.*

Noct flies over to the crystal.

Mortal uses her Lightning Breath again.

Sab begins to head over to Euryale to use a Phoenix Down on her.

She takes the quill and dabs it in the inkpot there presumably is. Before she attempts writing she passes it to Azuma.

Taiyo: "I'm not really sure how to say it."

He shrugs and writes down what she says to him. At one point she removes a pair of banglesnd eventually the letter is concluded. Azuma hands it and the tavernmaster.

*They head off towards the explosions*

*He stores it behind the counter.*

<Will you be needing anything else today?>

*They arrive at a manor they can hear magic, clanging of swords, & unidentified explosions coming from.*

*Senthose steals the crystal.*

<I'm surprised, my attack should have finished you. Looks like your silly little dances are effective, afterall.>

*The Iron Giant uses the last of its HP to make one piston-powered punch to Mortal's head. It then falls apart.*

"Let her chantage restore her, she'll gain more health that way."

*Lilith takes off running for Senthose.*

*They stand outside*

Safian:<Well what the hell's going on in there?>

Cassandra:<I don't know.>

*They wait outside for further developments*

OOC: Dammit, I checked and still didn't notice.

Sab stops, and uses a hasteja on herself.

"They're not silly," Noct mumbled.

Mortal rushed down Senthose, and double slashes at him again with Rend Power.

Taiyo: "Not unless you two have anything else."

Azuma: "Nope. Thanks for everything."

And with that they set off to parts unknown in search of adventure and fat loot.

*They hear the same sounds when they get into the city.*

*The noises continue inside.*

*Senthose strikes down Noctis, tanking the attacks. Vanessa gasps, & stands back up, at which point she predictably moves towards Mortal & chucks a shuriken into her neck. Lilith is trying to run behind Senthose, & slash him.*

"Stay dead, dammit!" Mortal said, running over and double slashing her again.

Sab lets out a worried squeal when Noct drops and hits Senthose with her purse.

Azuma: "The hell is that?"

Taiyo: "There was an attack on the king and queen last night."

Azuma: "Oh. I take it you weren't hurt."

Taiyo: "No. There were others that seemed to know the attacker."

Azuma: "Their problem."

Taiyo: "I guess...But shouldn't we at least check it out?"

Azuma: "I'd rather not mettle in the affairs of the crown. No good can come from that."

Mimiru: "It's not our place. They have their own people to deal with their problems."

With that they continue on their way out of the city.

Safian:<Let's go in.>

Cassandra:<We're not breaking into someone's house.>

*Safian approaches the house, and looks for any windows that would let her look inside*

*As they are passing through the South Gate of the city, they are going up a mountain, & it is starting to get colder. They can see snow at the top, but no signs of precipitation.*

*All she sees inside is an empty foyer.*

*Senthose strikes in the direction of what hit him, cutting Sab, & then strikes again. Meanwhile, as Vanessa drops, Euryale jumps up again. She runs over to Noct & charges Faerie, hoping against hope that she makes it on time. Lilith attacks Senthose with Kiku-Ichimoji.*

*Safian tries the handle on the door*

Taiyo shivers, hugging herself.

Taiyo: "This was a horrible idea."

Azuma: "I'm sorry. I didn't think it'd take us to the other end of the country."

Sab lets out another scream and runs away from Senthose, casting Hasteja on Euryale, again, because dying takes it away I think.

"Hey, leave her alone!" Mortal said, double slashing at Senthose with Rend Power again.

*It is locked, or obstructed, somehow.*

*To punctuate his words, he opens his mouth & breathes a stream of fire in her face. Meanwhile, Euryale reaches Noct & Sab, healing them with a Faerie, & Lilith slashes at his back, & the robots apparently have souls, because 2 of them revert to crystals.*
