*Meanwhile, Euryale is also changing into hers.*

"I don't know what you're talking about, blue looks great on you...Oh, wow, I think that's the most I've ever seen you flaunt your delicious figure. But they don't really leave much to the imagination, do they?"

*She tugs at the top of her top, trying to cover a bit more cleavage.*

*Safian's is a dancer outfit like Lilith's, with a blue skirt that has a white zig-zagging pattern, & white flamberges along the bottom.*

*Cassandra tries on her dress*

"That might be the point," Mortal said with a smile, "Wait... did you just call me delicious?"

"Well, I've had my tongue on you enough, I oughta know, right?"

*Cassandra's is much like Lilith's, only instead of the flower patterns, it has a white cross on the front of the skirt, & the White Lion Crest on the back. It also has short white gloves.*

*Cassandra exits her room and bangs on Safian's door*

Safian:<Yes?>

Cassandra:<What do you think?>

Safian:<It looks good.>

Mortal giggled like a school girl for a second before catching herself, "Well, I suppose there is no arguing that." She took a step closer, "I'd say something promiscuous, but I don't want to 'ruin dinner' for you."

*Before they know it, it's time to assemble for dinner. The dining room is situated in a tower with windows pointing both east & west. However, at the moment, it's storming outside, so various candles on the table are lit instead. The table is draped with a red cloth, & the oak chairs also have red cushions. Aroma sits at the head, a gold cross inlaid into the back of her chair. She looks over everyone & gives a sniff that's probably at least 60% predatory. When Roatha tries to take a chair next to her, her hand darts out to block him.*

Aroma<Hmm...excuse me, young man, but the seats next to the Celebrant are usually reserved for the most pious. You understand, right?>

R"'Young Man'? Hey...did you just make that up?"

Aroma<Of course not. Lying is a grave sin.>

*She smiles, closing her eyes.*

At hearing that Noct takes a seat far from where Roatha tried to sit, a small smirk playing across her lips. Sab sits next to her.

Mortal just looks at the chair, "...I honestly thought Sab was the most pious. I don't want to take the seat. I'm not worthy." She winds up sitting across from Noctis.

Zac waited for Lilith to sit before pulling a seat out for himself.

*Safian and Cassandra sit near where ever Roatha decides to sit*

Aroma<Humility is an admirable trait, next to godliness.>

*Lilith casts a wary look down the table.*

L"Yes, I'm sure you & Euryale would love to talk about God stuff with her."

R"What is this, musical chairs? Do we need a seating chart? Look, someone just point to a chair, & I'll sit in it."

SafianL<I agree. Let's just eat already.>

Noct let out a small sigh, stood up, and walked to the head of the table taking Aroma's right hand seat, Sab took the seat next to her. Since Mortal was sitting opposite Noct, she stood, and took the left hand seat.

"Is this better, Aroma?" Noct asked with a smile.

Aroma<Yes, thank you. I'm...really sorry, I didn't mean to cause a scene.>

L"Technically you were causing the scene."

*She points at Roatha, who just jazz hands & sits at the end of the table, where Noct was. Lilith sits where Mortal was previously. Euryale sits next to Mortal & offers her & Aroma a smile.*

*Safian and Cassandra follow him down to the end of the table, Safian sitting beside Roatha and Cassandra across for Safian*

Zac rounds off the whole thing by plopping his ass down next to, or across from Lilith, whichever one is free.

"It wasn't any trouble at all," Noct said.

Sab smiled a bit to herself before asking, "Do you say grace before meals, Aroma?"

Aroma<But of course.>

*The maids start coming up, setting the table with lots of salad, a few steaks, a pitcher of water, bottles of wine, sauces, dressings, condiments, & of course tableware for everyone.*

*Safian raises her eyebrow, but doesn't say anything*

Noct and Zac both let out slight sighs at the prospect of having to sit through grace, but see the tact in not pressing the matter.

Mortal practically salivates at the sight of the steaks.

E"Excuse me, but I'm not sure of the proper manners, should I repeat the prayer along with you?"

Aroma<I recite a prayer, you can choose to go along with it out loud, or in your head.>

*With that, Aroma, Siegfried, & Euryale close their eyes & clasp their hands. Roatha looks hesitant, but follows suit. Lilith loosely laces her fingers together, but that's it. None of them repeat after Aroma.*

Aroma<Father Ajora, who art in heaven, hallowed be my name. We praise ye for bestowing these bountiful blessings upon us; food, friendship, & love. We hope you find favor in our offerings of faithful service & goodwill towards your creation. We stand in awe of your infinite wisdom & grace. God is in his heaven. All is right with the world.>

*Safian and Cassandra put their hands together, but don't look very interested. They both remain silent*

Sab actually repeats out loud, and is shocked to find that Noct does as well. Zac is equally shocked, but not enough to do any more than the very little he did in the first place to show solidarity.

Mortal couldn't help but peek every now and again around the table, but otherwise carried out grace quietly like Euryale beside her.

*When Aroma & co. open their eyes, it becomes clear that Lilith's plot was to act like she was just recently separating her hands.*

Aroma<Now, enjoy.>

Mortal goes right for the steak.

Noct and Sab begin filling their plates with proportions for proper ladies.

Once Zac's plate is full he says, "Thank you for your hospitality, Aroma. The food looks amazing."

*Safian takes a steak, while Cassandra fills her plate with salad*

Cassandra:<Yes, thank you very much.>
