Making A Comeback

*Eve exits then heads to the shopping district, looking to replace what was lost in the attack*

Mortal got up to go answer the door, "Coming." She then opened the door, "Oh, Roatha, come in." Mortal took a step back to allow the guy into the apartment.

Gabe looked to see who it was, and smiled when it was Roatha, "Hello again."

"Yes, I'm having guests over," Noct paused for a second due to how odd that sounded, "I'd like you to arrange catering for a party of about 8-10 people for tonight."

R"Thanks, Mortal."

*He steps inside.*

R"Gabe, hey. Astarte says she'll be free later tonight."

E"Okay. Do you want a drink?"

R"Nah, not right now, but thanks."

*He waves her off, then finds a chair to sit in.*

*Eve enters, and goes up to the counter*

And so everyone is seated an not arguing... the friendships are obviously barely established, and about to break apart at any second. Before that happens though, Gabe said, "Oh, good. I should call Tirea back up and let her know everyone will be able to hang out tonight."

"How is she doing?" Mortal asked, "Given... you know."

"Uh, one second," Noct covers her end, then asks Ven, "What type of cuisine do you enjoy?"

"Astarte? Pretty good, all things considering."

*Eve takes out a list she had written earlier*

*He gestures to the shelves.*

Noct lets out a sigh, then puts her ear back to the phone, "Just go with local cuisine."

They head to Zolt's room.

"Officers," Hector said as he entered the room, and nodded to Kane.

"You know, Roatha and Astarte," Mortal made some less than helpful hand gestures, "Together. Romantically."

"Oooh," Gabe said, not getting it either. She laughed a bit when Mortal finally explained it.

*Eve gets out the money and pays*

E"Oh! Now that you mention it, I was wondering if something was going on between them. Good for you, Tigerdillo."

*Roatha turns red.*

R"I didn't even--you really think I have a chance?"

*Eve grabs her stuff and heads out*

"Sure you do," Mortal said, "You're a real catch."

"Yeah, you're a sweet guy. She'd be crazy not to fall for you," Gabe said.

"And you have a job too, that already puts you ahead of most other guys out there," Mortal added.

"Not sure how much I can help with that," Hector said. "But [Superior] sent us over to help with security."

Gabe is still hanging out, so Tirea comes up empty again.

"I'll bet you thought you had Saxeus covered, too," Hector said, grinning. "Surely Mr. Zolt can't have too much protection."
